yeah i donno y u guys r basing ur opinions on how Vineet acts on show n i don't think theres anything wrong wid that either. Hes da youngest one and can't help being a lil naughty n entertaining n if tat bothers anyone then im sorry y don't u plug to sum saas bhau show where crying is da only way to go. its not like he doesn't concentrate on his singing cuz of dat either. He was just superb every time! yeah he totally deserved to be in top 3. I'll defs miss Vineet :(

why do i ask these questions? because in your opening paragraph, you mentioned that vineet's singing was okay...in other words, were you referring to vineet's singing in general or for only his performance for this past week?

if your opinion of vineet's singing is in general...then you answered my previous questions above in which in fact you give zero credibility to the judges judgement of talent meaning hence your claim is subjective and you are hence quite partial......if your opinion of him was this past week only....then your argument is flawed!!!!!

why?.......well vineet along with abhijeet got the highest marks for that week...in fact if you think about it, vineet got the highest marks if you only count the day when udit narayan showed up....for the record i value udit's remarks more than shekar and vishal (not that they aren't good judges of talent)

unlike shaan, who's very political (such as giving everyone the same mark even though that contestant sang poorly), udit ji outlined every mistake for each contestant and gave vineet the highest mark for that day.........so are you saying you don't value udit's opinion?


overall, we as fans can't judge someone based on their technical merit such as sur.......we aren't experts.....we can only judge based on whether 1)we've heard the song before and are able to judge whether the singer sang at the right pitch.for example high, medium or low.........and we can also judge whether the singer sang at the right energy needed for the song...that's it.

last question, ...are you a singer or just a fan of music?..or both?

let me try to address your points one by one

1. the criteria i used to justify vineet's elimination include faults in his singing ability as well as his lack of understanding to connect with a large audience who vote for him.. its both. I felt that he is an average singer who is too oung to be a playbac singer and is judges 'favorite' only because of his antics. i never felt that he deserved the marks that were given to him because there was always a hint of bias.. e.g. farah khan favored him blindly since the start of the show and has been giving him one or two marks above the other judges. add to it the fact that a large section of the audience felt that vineet was not connecting with them hence he got out because he simply did not receive enough votes. if you are on TV you need to connect with public.

2. i value most judges on indian reality shows as 'biased' and promoting favoritism. period. so personally except for a few very respectable people like e.g. if asha bhosle, lata mangeshkar are judges then i would value it a bit otherwise most routine judges like vishal or shekhar or farah are simply picking and choosing their favorites. everyone knows that vishal/shehkar are blindly promoting debojit from day 1 while farah is completely biased to vineet, abhijeet and harshit.. this in my opinion is faulty judging. there should be a criteria to judge the judges as well.

3. so moving on from point #2.. unlike most people, i dont take a judge's point as the holy grail.

4. my opinion of vineet was both of the past week as well as generalized. i dont think vineet was that damn good in the past week.. i dont think he deserved three 10s. add to it the fact that his overacting brought down his demise as he was simply not connecting with the audience. many people like me felt that he is receiving all the false adulation as in my opinion he did not sang his song as good as some of the others yet he ended up getting more marks then them because he was being heavily favored by the judges. maybe there were thousands of people like me who felt similarly and he did not vote for vineet.

5. i dont value udit's opinion because i have seen him being an extremely biased judge at the indian idol 3. he desperately tried to oust amit paul from the show and gave him bad comment from day 1 however other judges saved amit paul and got him to the end. udit is a very biased judge.

6. among the current jjws judjes, i would count shekhar as a little better than the other 2.. howevr still he is no where near a complete fair judge. i understand that its difficult to find complete fair judges and thats the reality of these reality shows.. they are biased programmes and favoritism breeds biasedness.

7. i have studied music and its a partial job for me as well. so yes i am a musician

I hope there is a show where both of them are competing & its only based on judges marks not on voting...U will get ur clear winner which is vineet...And who said age matters ...Sonu Nigam started doing play Back at the age of 19...And the biggest reality show is in long run in real life in which Vineet will be way ahead of Debojeet....I am really unhappy with audience & and the show.

well, if judges vote fairly, you'll see the exact same results as what you saw these past three times....Vinit will still be gone way before debo😊

As for his singing.. it was okay however he is way too young to be singin in films.. He needs 10 more years before he can even be consdired for playback singing..
