Pretty clear from the last couple of episodes that there is really nothing left for Ani to do in the story anymore. His work is done with Arshi being pregnant. There will be some token acknowledgement of Runak's love towards the end with him likely dying. The remaining episodes in this generation is going to revolve around Jhanak's torture in BH, Bipasha playing games, Arshi being pregnant and insecure, all other characters flip flopping every other day.

You think Jhanak can stay in BH all the way until June? I doubt that

She will probably exit BH after whatever saazish evil gang does against her for another round of humiliation and MUs which ofcourse will immediately give her reason to want to run away again....lol and kaun rok paayega isko agar bhaagna hua toh? Lallon?

Ani will be kept passive or gaayab from the epis until they want to show token Runak meet ups ....remaining time ke liye yehi kaam hai uske liye show mein.

Yaar yeh aunty serial kis liye banayi? Generational leap ka idea tha toh bhi toh koi connection between leads rakhne ki sochti par yahan toh woh bhi nahin..

Btw a curiosity from my end.. which is the most active fandom among the lot? I know the parameters differ but just on a feel which serial has most engagement now?

Most amount of engagement on Twitter? I guess that's probably the Yeh Rishta fandom.....and that should tell you the haalat of ITV aajkal if that is what passes for most popular show now

Seriously? I have escaped watching any and all of its seasons 😂😂😂 I have seen years ago a few episodes when Hina Khan was there but since I studiously avoid anything that is saas - bahudom like I did not bother but was always surprised at how they continued the generational franchise… the only other time I had watched a few episodes was when my mum was visiting us and there was an orphan kid whom my mum was very enamoured of.. that kid actress was Reem Shaikh btw, years later I saw her in some show and recognised her and told my mum that “orphan” kid has grown up 😂😂 no idea about any stories across generations

LOL I don't think the show had much social media engagement in its first generation cuz social media hadn't taken off then....so Hina Khan mainly had ground level popularity since show got huge TRPs back then as the staple saas bahu drama.

But Thu Thu saab has evolved his marketing strategy in the last 6-7 years and now it's all about constantly adding romantic dream sequences, constant naach-gaana shaadi functions and this is what current Twitter fangirls are hyping about this show ......chemistry or acting is not a requirement....as long as kisi bhi tarhan romantic dream sequences mil jaayein, online fangirls are happy

Hmmm interesting insight!! to be able to sustain a generational shift with new characters but basically more or less the same “story” ( I assume there is no story just a collage of incidents) Fans ko achse ullu bana rahe hain bas Zara differently.. Leena is doing with torture and Thu Thu with little bit more finesse 😂😂😂

Thu Thu uncle ki research jyda pakki hai as compare to torture aunty😂

Thu thu uncle knows kese same story ko multiple ways mai repeat karke dikhana hai...bs simple sa funda hai Leads ko ek dusre ke around rkho or unke scenes daldo 1-2 longing and romantic se bs hogya kam...audience will accept sideys story happily fir😂😂

Fir bhi yar thu thu uncle ke viewers are still somewhat lucky in terms of getting their lead pairs being around to each other and timely unka union bhi hota rehta hai
