Jhanak too from being morally correct to a girl who submitted herself to her then husband and decided to sacrifice her relationship . A girl who saw her mom being insulted , and decided to be the same..A 180 degree turn from her lecture to Anirudh you are following me ,cheating my didi , submitted herself for love !!! I understand her is the pure love she has for him...it's not a lust nor a pleasure ..it's submitting to the one whom you love the most ....there is no morality or right or wrong in it ...its just pure love ...Like Asmi had written so beautifully about it the other day .
But if its for character fluctuation , Jhanak too has been portrayed as morally wrong , a cheater , who spends a night with her husband ,pushed him to her didi by signing the annulment , forcing him to marry her didi , How could a girl of her age who always gave Anirudh lessons on morality and character do the same ...
The writer is white washing her through dialogues , making it as her pure love for Anirudh and not blaming him even when he is rejecting her ..... Most viewers like to see the story from Jhanak POV .
As far as I look at Anirudh he is absolutely right at his stand from his POV he doesnt remember the incident , what can he do then just because a girl whom he loves or knew for some months suddenly comes and claims she is pregnant with his baby ,why should he accept it if he doesnt remember it . That has nothing to do with his love for her . His lack of trust and not going behind Jhanak or searching for her and prioritising Arshi is what we termed as character change ...but if we look at it , he is just following what Jhanak told him to do, take care of my didi ...he has sacrificed his love and mental happiness too...
It might look very odd when I say this , but If I look from his POV he is still the same , but not savage , not strong as he is broken , sad and lifeless as the love of his life has left him...but he is still living for others ....its his broken mind that has changed him .
The writer can white wash any character including Jhanak or even bleach side characters , and most viewers are ready to accept and feel pity .But unfortunately Anirudh is being excluded from the bleach by writer and viewers sympathy .

Yes.... I do believe....that for me their actions seemed beyond right or wrong...it was the love, affection and passion that Jhanak saw in Aniruddh's eyes that overwhelmed her and she gave in.... Initially she was obviously torn but then she made a choice and didn't care anymore....It was pure love .... without any thoughts on morality or consequences....That was the only night when she found her "Himalaya parvat" attainable...and she gave in to her love and desire for Aniruddh that was there within her ever since she imagined him in place of Aditya Kapoor during the ad shoot...
But we need to understand also why it is so difficult for Aniruddh to accept this...That "forced marriage" is what bound them to one another but there was a reason why they agreed for it..They had clarity ..When he brought Jhanak home he did not bring his wife home,he brought someone who was recently orphaned and he felt responsible towards her....He then compartmentalized his life into zimmedari and pyaar....where Arshi being"pyaar" and Jhanak being "zimmedari"to him..He was very very proud of this compartmentalization... which is why there was never any sexual tension...RuNak thrived on emotional intimacy that developed gradually...His trust on himself was way way more than Jhanak's trust ..She always had this fear & estimation of what it might lead to..but with Aniruddh,his trust on himself was Evident because thereโs zero inner conflict or hesitation of any kind on his part initially when he lied to his closed ones and Arshi bcz of Jhanak. The sheer level of his candour in doing these things can come only from a total lack of guilt because heโs absolutely sure nothing untoward would happen..It was after the birthday date probably when he realised that the lines were blurring...but still it was limited to emotions and changing feelings...
The way he had lived with Jhanak by always maintaining 2 feet distance between them...he was hesitating to even put his hand on her head...to now discovering that he had crossed such a line with her...
How will he accept that about himself!!!!
The thought that he impregnated Jhanak and then moved on to marry Arshi....must be so suffocating for him that he is actually so desperately seeking validation even from people like Bipasha and Shrishti....whom he doesn't like ....He was falling in his own eyes...to even imagine himself at BB 's place...
I remember a dialogue in Bajirao Mastani..." "Aap hamse Jaan mang lete ham Khushi khushi de dete par aap ne hamse hamara guroor hi cheen Liya".....Yes Jhanak has said this repeatedly that she can give life for Aniruddh but that even Aniruddh can do...He has shown this again and again...but this information at this point has snatched away his pride from him...
It is easy for Jhanak to hold that night with pride bcz for her he was/is her husband..and this child is their pyaar ki nishani...but is it that easy for him? No!!! He was engaged to Arshi.... sitting on the mandap before one day....when he gets to know about the paternity...and proudly accepts the baby...will he ever be able to be truly guilt-free regarding what he did that night in his unconsciousness.....
This identity of "The Aniruddh Bose" is everything to her bcz through this he has achieved Everything that he has always craved for... validation and attention from his parents, his sense of self-worth....now that is under attack....
He asked her if he was not in his senses..why didn't she stop him...It kind of shows that the reason behind his disbelief is not just his belief on himself but his trust on his Jhanak as well..., this strong stance also comes from his confidence on the ability of Jhanak to hold on to her morals & values that she herself had always reminded to him...And he is definitely not in a mental state to process and accept that Jhanak loved him and was craving to be loved by him to the extent of giving up on her values....and he also came back from Mumbai believing that this is not "his Jhanak" anymore....
And now Jethu, Bodomaa,Choton people whom he truly loves, he is grown up with, who understands him the most in the house are standing in support of Jhanak ....He is just standing in the middle of BH drawing room wiping his tears....bcz according to him he lost the love , then his pride & now one by one he is losing all his "Apne"...What is he left with!!! Subho,Tanuja,Arshi.....he anyway never had any emotional connection with them.....
These two people don't deserve the pain that they are going through.....After going through so much pain they definitely deserve some happiness.... Aniruddh definitely deserves to be with the woman who is carrying his child and whom he loves so much at such a precious moment of their lives....He is missing out on such beautiful moments.....due to his ignorance...& Jhanak also deserves to share this precious moments of first pregnancy with the father of her baby whom she loves so much
Yes....the fact that I can still understand him,his emotions,his turmoil shows that he hasn't changed much from the core...he is still same with his insecurities, vulnerabilities, craving for acceptance, desperately seeking validation....emotional for people he loves to the point of wiping his tears in the middle of drawing room...with his possessiveness, jealousy and makers are still exploiting his weaknesses to the maximum by making his character the scapegoat....to heighten the drama...
finally after bahoo duties she will do her female lead duties
