it’s another matter, they could have met under different circumstances but whether their relationship could have borne the strain of the past event is hard to tell. That was one pathway for sure but I don’t know how they could have managed the drama in the meantime…

this serial is centrally dealing with the theme of guilt over a moral principle and the human emotions attached to it. It’s a tough area and to see the writer’s story simply from the way they wish to tell it without getting our sensibilities in the way is difficult.

There is guilt... that is why our lead appeared so weak... because guilt trip makes any individual more weak....

That's why both of them could have done a lot of things....but the fact is they did not...we have to accept the fact....and their circumstances also did not make it easy for them...

Both the characters are flawed in their own way and the beauty of a good story is how those flaws bring them together or make them understand each other...when there is an UNDERSTANDING b/w the two characters beyond their flaws.. ..

That's the journey that I am and I guess we all are looking forward to...

The makers are famous for showing different promo and plot.

The promo is a hint they will meet...rest will be more disaster.

Agree, the Ani we knew and the Ani we see now are two different people , completely!

Makers did what they wanted to, with him, coz they can!

Either yesterday was a lie or today is, but the core traits of a human being cannot change, period, which in this case has surprisingly changed overnight!

We might as well rename him to FUN(A)NY(I) for our own "sANIty!

You have made a compelling case about Anirudh’s feelings of wanting acceptance etc but here’s the thing…

I am not denying this is what Ani is about but any protagonist must show a climb in arc after a life altering experience.. for me being with Jhanak is that life altering experience for Ani..warna mile hi kyun?

For me principally, if his actions at this point don’t hark back to Jhanak.. then essentially this is a just a parallel track and never the twain shall meet. Or even if they do… any reigniting of feelings would seem like a lie.

To me, his actions now are more rooted to Jhanak not anyone else. In his relationship with Arshi too… he is following Jhanak… soulless maybe but nevertheless giving it his best shot as a husband. He told he will perform to agitate jhanak but now he is performing to please Jhanak

It has been the case with him always...ever since he has met Jhanak ...his every action is centered around Jhanak only...

We saw how when Jhanak didn't accept his love....he rebelled with his performance with Arshi...and we all saw the disaster that followed...

& The way we all are suffering.......

So may be we later see that his major motivation behind this is also to obey Jhanak's words only.....
