Sid was amazing and a well deserved 30.
Tanna and Swasti were over scored.
Salman is the ONLY Jhalak contestant who doesn't dance and gets away with a 30 . Can they get any more biased ? Farah slammed Cornell for letting the focus shift away from Nora in one act , slammed Suchi and Diwakar for less dance in one act but for Salman its all allowed. Its allowed that he barely dances for few seconds in the act...its fine that his choreo partner does everything and I did not even understand what was so amazing about the concept.
Shantanu was amazing as usual but I agree with Farah that the choreo could have been better. I personally don't like the song actually. The end portion when he carried Alisha on his shoulders and walks was WOW.

When he came on Jhalak last year for the "Salman Special" episode he seemed so humble and the acts they showed that day were actually creative but he does seem a bit smug now. He should have never come on as a contestant and followed the same career trajectory as Puneet, Dharmesh, Shakti etc.

I thought that Teriya only copied the fusion. Didn't realise they copied the steps, song and everything. I'm looking forward to the teen ka tadka episode because Faisal is coming back (right?). He's my favourite dancer.

I wasn't familiar with Shantanu at all before Jhalak. Checked out his performance on WOD and it really was very impressive. Tried to watch his performance on AGT but couldn't find it. If you have a link, can you share it 😃. Salman is probably well known and liked because he was paired up with lots of popular contestants in the past and he actually did choreograph those contestants well. I can understand your frustration though. Credit should be given where credit is due. But as Shakti said before he left; everyone's careers seem to improve after Jhalak so maybe that's happen to him as well.

Honestly this season is a bit boring especially after last years season with Faisal, Shamita, Sanaya etc. Even the judges were better (I mean they had Shahid Kapoor). I only started watching because I read that Sidharth is a gymnast and I wanted to see his performances but I've been very impressed Shantanu as well so I'll keep watching 😊.

You are right dear :)
Actually he used to be humble during DID times and I remember he came to Nach Baliye to support Karishma. But Idk he acts as if he owns JDJ or something. He gets special treatment and as someone said, he is the one who escape with little dancing. Even Farah is not strict with him when she is so strict with the others.

Please head to his AT http://www.india-forums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=4683832

Feels so nice to see people who didn't know him appreciating his dance :D

I actually kind of feel bad about it. I mean I don't even know her. She's a really good dancer, there's no denying that.

PS: I creeped on your profile and see you're from Australia as well. May I ask where in Australia?

Ohhh I think I remember what post you're talking about. Fair point, I really admire and respect your views about the western culture trend by the way.

Yay a fellow Aussie 😆 I'm from Melbourne. What about you?

One thing which I have always liked about her during her D3 days that she always made an effort to speak in Hindi and not English in interviews. Her English was weak at that time but she never tried to speak in English just to prove a point. She proudly spoke in her mother tongue and never looked down upon it..

Like I said it's totally petty and I quit instagram after a little. You guys probably know her a lot better and I'm seriously reconsidering. Think it was the combination of that post and the replies to it + the way other people of her age act. She seems sweet and humble tbh.

Why Salman is even in the show? It would be great that makers have made salman the 3rd judge instead of Jaqueline who doesn't understand any technicality of dancing. It feels that the participation of Salman is a deliberate and scripted attempt to create news as this season of JDJ has nothing solid to offer. For god's sake he is winner of DID 1 , choreo-winner of JDJ and has worked with some of the top-runners of jdj such as drashti, isha sharvani, yana gupta etc. Worked in ABCD , going to come in a dance based movie of remo as hero with shakti mohan and the list goes on and on. After achieving so much who wants to come as a participant in a show. It seems that he come here to give exposure to Ashwariya because most of the dancing is done by her only.
Most of the dances were gud not great as judges claim to be including teriya, swasti and siddharth . Theme wise it was salman's dance that I really liked but again it was copied and ashwariya was the one who was dancing. 😵

Now the man for whom I am tolerating this mediocre show, Shantanu. His act was average not gud. I didn't enjoy the act. opening 10 sec steps were that of WOD dance ( People who have seen WOD performance may know better) n I agree wid farah that certain steps were repetitive. But it's okay. Better luck next time. That elimination prank was not at all funny as we all know he is in finale.

Is it me or shantanu was really looking weak ( as he lost 5-6 kgs) and disinterested or it is the pathetic editing team who captures his natural expressions. 😆

But at least he didn't copied lol. I agree though, we know he can do better. But in less than 2 days, the act was good compared to others. Yep actually Shan lost 6 kilos and he was looking very slim, hope he takes care of his health because with GOT shoot and JDJ, he hardly had time to sleep and eat.

Agree! Even Shantanu shouldn't have come in this crap show. He won WOD, best choregrapher, standing ovation, this show is not upto his level. He should have gone to Dancing with the stars abroad and in international shows. But good thing is that, he is getting media exposure, which he didn't get with WOD sadly.

Show is good but format and timing is bad which is the main reason that this season is flop. Preparing 2 acts in 1 week is actually very difficult especially for the celebrities who also have daily shows and other professional commitments. That doesn't give proper time to choreographers to think and execute a out of the box acts. I have seen way better performances in previous seasons.

I agree. It's all messed up. I don't know for others like Salman who seems to spend whole day on Jhalak sets but I know for sure that Shan usually had 2 days to prepare and I knew that h used to shoot for GOT and used to practise at night so maybe standard would have been better overall if they got more time. But that's not to say that Shan's acts are not good, he is doing a great job.
Other JDJ dances in the past had big concepts and all but Shan does pure dancing

That's one thing that I appreciate shan and his whole team that his acts are that of pure dance instead of overwhelming emotion, acrobatics, aerial or stunts. If concept and format would have proper then I am sure Shan would have given some really outstanding performances.
