Btw in my knowledge this show is all about a journey from a non dancer to dancer so the most deserving candidates are mohit and sanaya..as we all know faisal and shamita(not sure)are trained dancers..even if shamita is not she don't desreve to win because neither she an extraordinary dancer nor she has fan following..

And in that continuous dancing round - she won! against faisal and vaishnavi? I guess the judges should realize that the audience also have eyes and can see whats going on! another couple got eliminated for doing too many lifts. - I very much doubt if Sanaya will win JDJ8. Please dont get me wrong I love Sanaya. Here is why, She is getting terrible marks from the judges. And they dont explain why. what kind of comment is " I expected more" . more what? u are a judge u need to qualify. Also none of them had any negative comment on the dance itself. not one of them. but still rated her low.same as that new entrant lady who looked like she was doing some kind of exercise. she looked so stressed! so what I dont get about the judges is how do you give marks without explaining a lil bit about why so the contestant can improve themselves

Low marks could be a ploy by the channel to get her massive following to send more SMS. and hence set the cash registers ringing! So one thing is for sure. they will surely have sanaya in the finals but keep her marks low so the fans spend some moolah.

But the crown itself?...

If you think either of Sanaya's performance this weekend was as good as Shamita's then you are biased, not the judges.

I have seen the judges make many technical remarks about Sanaya's performance, approximately as much as they comment for everyone else's performances. Why do you want the judges to go out of their way to explain in detail what the shortcomings of Sanaya's performance were when they do not do it for other contestants? Saying that "they expected more" does qualify as a proper comment. Also, for quantifying the "more", just 2 days back on Saturday the judges elaborated that they expected more dancing in the performance. What more detailed comments do you want?

It looks to me as if this show is about determining who is the best dancer, not who is the most improved dancer. Otherwise mediocre dancers who enter the show will have an advantage over trained dancers (because improving from being mediocre to being less mediocre is faster) which makes little sense. Improvement as a dancer is important and is one of the underlying goals of the show. However the winner is decided primarily on their dancing skills.

I agree with the above ^^ . The one who brings out the most variations/wow moment/chore/concept should win!! IMO Faisal should be the winner, if not him tthen Shamita.
Both MM and SI are beginners, they cant dance well.

Not at all. Makes perfect sense. The channel wants to make money from each contestant. that is why each contestant has to make vote appeal. each SMS brings in the moolah. In shamita's case there will be hardly any moolah coming from voting. So they have to make the money thro "other" means.

In the case of Sanaya, she will be the top grosser. So they will try to maximize her output by tugging at the heartstrings of her fans, and the fans will send those extra SMS's

And in both cases the channel will laugh all the way to the bank!
