Sanaya's performance was out of world at least fr me and I am not saying bcoz I m her fan, its bcoz she made me feel so. The effort she put in that performance Clearly suggested how much dedicated this girl is towards her work. This made me respect her even more. Never took fans fr granted though she has one of the biggest n dedicated fandom. Now I don't care whether she wins the trophy or not, she has won our hearts by her sheer dedication n unmatched professionalism. I am proud to be a Sanaya fan n always be. God bless you gal!

First thank you Abhi for posting what most of us feel and want to celebrate. Beautifully written.

For me this act was not about the technicalities or intricacies of choreography, but it was brilliant for the sheer heart, trust, passion and determination it portrayed. It is about an artist's desire to push the envelope, earn a deserved place in the show and maximize every opportunity to learn, improve and about a choreographer wanting to support, having the faith and vision that the artist will deliver and can literally come out with flying colors. It is about setting a goal for oneself and slowly and steadily working to get there. I salute both Jai and Sanaya for a JDJ journey which has been truly inspiring and brilliant. Here's wishing both of them many more milestones before they hit the finish line.

After reading your explanation, I watched it again 2 times, now I fully get it...

I want to watch it more and more times but the impact is too much, I think I will watch once or twice per day

To be honest bcz I read all the raving reviews here beforehand, the first time I was a bit disappointed and even thought the performance maybe a slightly overrated... I thought the floor steps were very ordinary (although the aerial act more than made up for that), but now that I understand it when I watch it, it's truly truly beautiful, absolutely beautiful... So thanks again 😃

I am glad the judges and the audience were not as thick skulled and got the beauty of the perfirmance the first time itself

Like somebody said it's one of those rare performances, where the more you watch it the more you love it, the more you watch the aerial act the more stunning it gets ⭐️

I personally get the performance and the beauty of it but I think Jaya explained it better than I ever would have. Its a beautiful love story between a flower and a butterfly. I got emotional abit don't know why?

Everyone is aware that JDJ is about a journey of non dancer to dancer .Sanaya in her first act &

Sanaya in the aerial act ...look at the tremendous growth this lady has shown..

Your word "overrating" really irks me.I am a diehard fan of SANAYA that's why i am there to see &

APPRECIATE her totally different avatar.WE as fans appreciate her every act & for me APPRECIATION is ENCOURAGEMENT.

She is trying something new & instead of appreciating(read encouragement here) u r so critical

that it might dishearten the person.

As far as she getting 40 i think she deserved it.Judges were there to decide on what marks r to

be given.They saw the growth Sanaya has achieved & if even one of them would have given

below 10 i would say that person is not fit for judging that show.

And for the fear on her face during the act, i didn't see any fear,maybe it was a little bit of distraction

as she was hurt.She is not a professional in aerial acts ,it was her first time,so dear give her some

credit.

Now for the easy steps on the floor i think just to prove something it is not necessary to get

complicated steps in the dance.The focus was on the aerial act and to highlight it one has

to have a very subtle floor steps otherwise the whole act can become messy.

Aww you're welcome, I'm happy that my perspective helped you enjoy it. To be honest I'm pretty thick skulled when it comes to interpreting dance and I don't know if this is what was intended but this is how I felt after watching a few times.The first few times of watching I was sitting with my heart in my mouth with no room to understand anything because Sanaya was hanging off Jai, in mid air, without a harness! I absolutely cannot get enough of this act and am watching it on a loop.

This lady is trying something different every time & we need to appreciate & encourage her.
