Brief, Official statement of the concept:

After a successful stint last year, Colors is back with Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa - season 6. It is a television reality show and the Indian version of BBC's Strictly Come Dancing and ABC's Dancing with the Stars.[B]There will be 12 celebrities who will compete with each other along with their choreographer partners.[B] These 12 pairs will be judged by 3 celebrity judges-Madhuri Dixit, Karan Johar & Remo D'souza

Please tell me what does it say... And if they consider Mukti a celebrity, she must have met the criteria. Otherwise all celebrities would have objected before you and me.

You do not need to tell me what I should say, you have no authority to do that.
As for the official format. I have actually worked on the sets of Dancing with Stars, which is the show that Jhalak is a franchise of. I am quite familiar and knowledgeable about the format of the show. Surely, more than you.
So keep your mouth shut and think before you open it.

Clearly, you have a comprehension problem.

That little statement you have provided does not mean anything. Everyone knows this show is about the journey of a non-dancer to dancer. Look at the fricking history of the show, how many times have we had a winner that is nothing and turns into a decent dancer. Right from Mona Season 1 to Gurmeet Season 5.

If that was the case, why did Salman join Jhalak as a choreographer? he is just as much if not more of a celebrity than Lauren. Why was he not a contestant? Why is Prabu Deva not a contestant? Why is Dharmesh from ABCD not participating, he is pretty popular too?

What is the point of putting 2 professionals together? There would be no learning curve or growth/ They are just included for entertainment. That's why Lauren and Mukti are there.

Madhuri always consistently talks about the "journey" of contestants, she talks about It for a reason. Its one of the things that is taken into consideration when selecting the winner.

I mean its really not that hard to understand but anyway please don't bother posting and lets stick to the topic please.

People are already so feisty when facts are mentioned 😆

Anyways I agree it indeed isn't rocket science to realize JDJ is dancing with the stars, not dancing with non dancers, I don't see this tagline anywhere on the show 😆... And from which angle DD or Shweta look like a non dancers, they have had their share of exposure to dancing. People like Shaan, Sid, and the cricketer guy are the the actual non dancers, out of all Shaan has improved a lot. So how is it fair to put these non dancers with someone like DD or Shweta who know quite some about dancing from their respective careers. If is it fair then so is putting them with good dancers like Lauren and Mukti. End of the day all contestants will have varied dancing exposure, but as long as they are the celebrities, it's all a fair game.
Also, trained dancers do not necessary mean they have knowledge of all dance forms, like how Lauren performed on Indian dance form for the first time, so she is learning as well. As for Mukti, she has done few shows, so she is one of the celebrities like how Shibani was last season, I hadn't even heard about Shibani doesn't mean she isn't qualified for the show. Only if some people will understand since all this is common sense, nothing more...

From the description you have posted about JDJ, it seems more like someone else has a comprehension problem, and now add dumb and unintelligent to that 😆...
No worries, it happens, people usually don't realize their own flaws and project them onto others, it's called psychological projection. So no worries, you aren't the problem here, except for being the target of projection
