I think one thing we have to accept/realize about Jhalak, is that there is always going to be that professionally trained dancer participating every season.
Right from the first season there was Shveta Salve, who was a trained dancer, and then this trend continue and thru-out the years we saw many trained dancers (Sushant, Isha Sharvani, Lauren etc)
The reason they do this is because if they took upon 11-12 complete non-dancers, then who would push the envelope? Who would give those really strong performances. So I understand the "need" for the professional dancer in Jhalak, its to maintain the so called high standard of the show and churn out strong performances.
But the problem is, this season...its a little too much as we have 3 of them. There is Lauren, Mukti and the Kids. Almost half of the remaining contestants are trained dancers. Like Salman mentioned Jhalak is made for people like Shaan and Siddharth who are complete non-dancers.
On that basis, I really think At least 2 of the trained dancers need to be eliminated asap and I think Mukti and the kids should really go as wonderful as they are.

agree ... JDJ is not a dance show for trained ppl ... it DID or India's dancing super star etc ... JDJ is for Celebs Non Trained Dancers

Kids mukti all are not fit for the show ...if they really wanted a kid to join JDJ they cld have get Nanhi frm Na bole as a contestant or some other kid ... Lauren one trained Dancer is enough who can be a celeb as she has done one movie ...

it just does not fit with the theme of the show ... for example how can u put Sid and Mukti in faceoff knowing Mukti is a trained dancer and even if sid got less marks But he has Fan following and mukti has hardly any fan following ( few must be shakti fans who r supporting her but not even 2 % of Sid's fan following ) so even if she scores 30 she needs to worry just like despite having Fan following those ppl put Sid in bottom three ...

Why are you getting so mad for? Relax, this is a topic of discussion, learn how to talk properly before you start spurting out your nonsense.
The show IS for non-dancers, why do you think there is such a big issue about professional being in Jhalak?
Don't like the topic? Stay out then nobody is holding you a gun to enter.

Drashti is hardworking girl and she is pushing herself so hard despite the fact of her body quiting, one fall doesn't mean she is out
if u are real fans u should support her in good way

JDJ is definitely a Dance show for the celebrities. Whether s/he is a trained dancer or not that's not at all a point of discussion.

You can only discuss, if s/he enjoys a celebrity status or not... Period.

You guys are so ridiculous
If Jhalak is for celebrities and not trained dancers, why is Mukti there? Nobody even knows who Mukti is. How is Mukti a celebrity? Please enlighten me 😆😆
Obviously you have to be somewhat popular/well known but the main purpose of the show is to make a non-dancer into a dancer.
Its really not rocket science, not sure why some people cant understand it.

As you are distributing suggestions, let me correct you on your opinion; the show is not for non dancers, it's for celebrities. Get your rants corrected. Celebrities may be trained or may not be trained, that's not a matter at all.

Yes the organizers make a blend of it, to make the show interesting, since as many trained dancers aren't available within the celebrities. But get the official format right.

I am sorry but who are you?
You do not need to tell me what I should say, you have no authority to do that.
As for the official format. I have actually worked on the sets of Dancing with Stars, which is the show that Jhalak is a franchise of. I am quite familiar and knowledgeable about the format of the show. Surely, more than you.
So keep your mouth shut and think before you open it.
