So what's exactly your point.

SHERA could be even more known than Drashti, or any other celeb on the show, but that's not called popularity. If Salman removes him and appoints another, people will know him too, but he won't be called popular ... Knowing someone and being popular is different, you are Comparing an apple and a pumpkin. Basic understanding of a celeb is flawed.

Wel, jdj is dancing with the stars. So celebrity being traind or untraind is nt issue i think. Many celebs r traind in one form or other. And regarding people saying dd is nt traind as she is traind in bharathanatyam..man..its a leading dance form in south india..so it counts
and regarding mukti..she done 2 reality shows b4. Celebrity doest stands for people who act in serials or films only.

People who watchd nb knws mukti..people who watchd cs knws mukti.. She even performd in star parivaar awards i think...
In last season, kbc winner participated. Then why cant mukti?

u didn't get the point ...basically i m saying the same what u said ... even if More ppl know shera it does not make him a celeb , same way even if few ppl know Mukti bcz of her sister it does not make her a celeb ... as some were claiming they knew Mukti before JDJ so she is a celeb 😆

I am sorry, but in my case I had known Mukti way before Shakti since I don't follow DID. I had seen Mukti on Zaara Nachke Dikha and since then I have liked her dancing. So just because you might know Mukti through Shakti doesn't mean it's true for all. I don't watch many Hindi TV soap operas, few reality shows here and there, thus I didn't know Drashti or Sid, got to know them through JDJ, so does that mean they aren't Celebs since I didn't know them well 🤔

Exactly. And it's worth mentioning that shows like JDJ cast contestants that have their own fanbases, even if not known at a large scale. When you have these contestants with their own fans tuning in, you pull in enough viewers, hence no need for a blockbuster contestant.

It's also worth noting, IF chaska meter popularity doesn't necessarily translate into real world popularity. Just because all contestants don't have fans pushing the meter, doesn't mean they are unknown. The logic behind such claims fails.

Zara nach ke Dikha happened after DID 😛... and yah what she was doing in that show among other celebs ??? 😆 ... yeh wala show kiski sifarish se mila tha ??? arreee again Terence 😛

there must be Few who does not watch Diya aur Baati but must have followed Nach Baliye and must have loved Arvind ji ... does it make Arvind ji a bigger celeb than bhabo ? may be for those ppl but not in reality 😛

Oh yes perfect example, I remember Sushil Kumar from JDJ5, and he was opted for the show who is a common man. His fame was winning on Crorepati show. So now if he can be the Celeb, I am sure no one should have any objection for Mukti or Kids for that matter unless we want to term ourselves hypocrites 😃

Rowdiest: I thought the argument was about being a celeb or not and not about who is bigger or smaller. Thanks for confirming that Mukti is a Celeb even if not so famous, that should end the debate here.
