The girl is amazing!!!

( I feel so sorry for men.. in forms as salsa.. poor guy has to take the lead , hold it together.. but its the woman who looks pretty always doing all the ooh so complex steps .. 😆😛)

The girl is really good.. aah, I wish I was that age again 😛 But then I look at Birju Maharaj and wonder if I will be able to dance at that age. Now in my late 20s, I dance with painkillers 😆

As for men .. don't feel bad for them. Even though the girl gets all the sexy steps, if the guy can't lead her, the dance fails! So it ultimately does depend on the guy. Well I guess this is choreographed, so it doesn't matter.. but its amazing and super sexy when you just let yourself go and let the guy lead you😳 and of course salsa is useless without that passion. So no, I think its ultimately the guy who makes the dance sexy, and not the girl!

As I mentioned before I'm new to JDJ but I was wondering how experimental are they with different dance forms. Have the ever had for example Krumping, African Tribal Dance, Lindy-Hop?

JDJ hasn't been too experimental when we compare it with other dance shows such as Dance India Dance and such but it does require contestants to present different styles. Also, a lot of the choreographers choose to do different forms in order to bring out the uniqueness factor. There has been hip-hop, stomping, rumba, pasodoble, afro jazz dance and many more...

Hi everyone..
I am on holiday and it airs where I am an hour and a half after it airs in India..so I will be able to discuss the dancing only after I have watched everything.
If I was home I would watch it online as soon as links were available despite the time difference in the times it was going to air but now I'll have to watch it on tv

anyways I watched the IGT kids last year and found them AWESOME and I was so happy they won; I just hope their dancing isn't repetitive and they are able to try new styles because what i saw in the promos was repetition from what i had sen on IGT but then again perhaps they were instructed to dance like that..

there was a preview on Colors a while ago where I saw bits of RK's interaction BUT not much was given away and from what i saw Punit-lauren were awesome and so were Salman-Dhrashti
BUT the surprise package was Shaan
He was enjoying himself so much

and I liked RK's interaction with everyone: special mention here

Concur @enigmatic_zephy

Non-dancing viewers or non-dance viewers always go ooh aah look at how she twirled through the air...completing ignoring the poor guy who is lifting her up and down whilst still maintaining his posture and facial expression. And she may be dancing all sexy and whatnot but if he isn't leading and providing the frame against which to dance then the performance goes kaput put 😆

@-3raser Thanks for clearing that up. I was curious as well. Watching the same forms for three months would bore me to tears. Professionals would be fine but on a celebrity dance show 🥱

No prob. I am not sure why they bring professionals in JDJ but my heart literally tears when I see such talents getting eliminated and some mediocre dancer winning. Its either they keep professionals out or really make it fair so the deserving could win.
