well i hv a few contestants to whom hv a soft corner...bt whn it cums to dance can only see dance

though my fav is a non dancer...n d best dancer of the show wl b my one to whom i wl critically critisized

m nt a dancer...bt hv tremendous knowledge regardng dance

If your feelings are hurt when your favourite stars are ctiticized then this thread is NOT for you because if someone is off beat and robotic; they will be called off beat and robotic; there will be NO sugarcoating
and similarly if someone if fantastic and dancing really well, and charismatic and moves to the beat they will be applauded
If contestants are having fun even if they do not dance as well as others, they will be encouraged

Dance forms will be discussed: bollywood, salsa, waltz, ballroom, popping and locking, hip-hop-jazz., kathak, bharatnatyam, rope malkam...EVERYTHING

Also if you are a basher and your sole purpose in life is to make everyone look bad and pick on everything and call everyone names then this thread is NOT for you

Am happy that Sonia Jaffer is back. She's fantastic, as a choreo and a dancer! There was one Sushant in the choreo list too, can someone tell me who he is? I know the rest of the choreos I think, but him I dont remember.. did he come in any reality show before?

I don't know much about Sonia but from whatever I've seen, she's damn good! Me too excited to see her back

Sushant is Shweta's choreographer right? He looked so familiar and was in ABCD Remo's movie. Haven't seen his work before though

I'm not a expert in dancing but would love to be part of this thread.. this seems to be one of the very few sane threads here.

the only things I know about dancing is because of "Dancing with the Stars".. 😆

Evening all! Just over three hours to go 🥳

In terms of dance knowledge than all I have is a few months bharatnatyam practice, years of watching Dancing with the Stars and So You Think You Can Dance and the ever-friendly internet 😆

My knowledge of the choreographers is negligible so I'll be definitely be needing background info every now and then. But so far from the promos; Salman, Punit and Shweta's choreo are the ones I'm looking forward to. I've heard Sonia is good so I'm trusting my friends but man oh man that press conference bhangra was weird.

Also can someone tell me a bit more about the little kids on the show? Did they win another dance show or something?

Hi Payali!

At least you've learned some sort of dance form whereas I've zilch 😆 I dance at parties and goof around with my little niece. We both have mastered Gangnam style though 😆
