A pro dancer is kept to motivate others nd to raise the bar..the reason that a complete trained dancer is not made to win is that they are already trained nd there is little scope for improvement...but here people start crying that the best dancer should win which according to them is the MOST DESERVING...but according to me ,for Jhalak most deserving is the most popular nd most improved contestant...where popularity comes first..nd yes these average dancers are more deserving acc to me as they have to come out of their comfort zone nd have to do a lot lot of hardwork to learn new dance forms alongwith their other assignments...
So yeah...Shakti,Lauren nd Isha are not the most deserving canditates for me..but I appreciate their talent nd hardwork to entertain us..that's why I don't want Shakti to win while any other popular non dancer who tried to learn most sincerely should be the winner...

I'm amazed it's a yearly thing! Holy Cow! You'd think everyone would mellow over time and learn to appreciate the journey of everyone and remember the spectacular performances.

The experienced dancers definitely raise the bar and make the show more enjoyable- I don't think I could watch 10 straight performances of the same standard quality. It's nice to see some of the amazing things these athletic bodies can do (Dancers ARE athletes IMO);

To me, to be honest it's not even about deserving; I'll be happy for whoever wins because they're all putting in time and effort, sweat and tears. Would I be happier if my fav wins? Of course, but I'm not going to berate the person who wins regardless.

JDJ=Dancing With the stars..not some daily soap.
so DANCE is very much imp here...m here to watch my fav dancing stars performance n some gud performance from others..
last year also i used to watch this show for gud performances from dancers like lauren,Sonali n i wanted Sonali to win but it didnt happen n i was totally disappointed. ..so this year i dnt want it to repeat again..
Being a dance lover n trained dancer i wd definitely want the most DESERVING DANCER to win this tym atleast.
ps:its an open forum.everyone has the ryt to express their veiw...

Perfect post , its a popularity based show and people are bound to be biased , that's why there are are so many non-dancers who are lasting , if it was a pure dance based show , then technically there would be just two contestants shakti and popo.

That wasn't what one would call expressing an opinion, more like rubbing it over on others like a command. Your post is more along the lines preaching others about what to do, and I think you shouldn't bother about it until and unless you're a mod and the forum has gone cranky 😛

As you said in the main post, live and let live, thankyou.😃

Marks are for the judges only - why do they even give marks, when the contestant stays or goes based on the popularity ?

As from BB previous season, one contestant had a whole machinery of people voting for them over phone lines

So even the popularity can be rigged 😆

Watch this show for a chuckle, that is all
