I like shakti a lot and would have loved to see her win this had I overlooked the other contestants. Unfortunately I can't overlook the standards of other contestants. This has been a problem since the 2nd season,JDJ has been pitching professional dancers against all other kinds including beginners. The contestants might amuse themeselves into thinking that the one who shows the most improvement is appreciated the most but that's not so in the minds of the audience. At the end of the day,we all fall for the best performance,which obviously a professional dancer will always give. And after watching some class acts,when the trophy goes to a mediocre dancer simply on the basis of popularity,it irritates u! JDJ was introduced on television as a show that would bring out the dancing side of non-dancers,it has been contradicting its own concept over the yrs,I won't blame a Shakti or a Lauren for it

Bang on post...i second u actually the problem is tht till last year there was 1 popular star each year who wld win even if their acts were crap but in case of shakti she is nt nly the best dancer bt lso the most popular she has lready won all the poll conducted by diff sites in link with jdj i think sm people just cant digest the fact.nd as i lways say its D"ancing with the Stars" nd nt "Dancing with Non-dancers"

I feel a lot of people this year have a problem with shakti becoz apart frm being an awesome dancer she has a massive fan following!! Last year lauren was there but she didnt have much fan base becoz of being a foreigner!! This year shakti has both, talent and popularity!!
But i stilll stand by shakti no matter what people say!! She is on the show to dance and i am there to see her dance!!

Sudha's story is different. She's only trained in classical and she has a wooden leg. I remember that year, Sudha had done many different dances, different from classical. She is not of Lauren or Shakti's caliber. She was older in age so she was not able to move as much as them and she had a wooden leg which put her at disadvantage at times.

I think if Jdj wasn't based on voting and purely in dance then it would have had been unfair to others but here popularity works and not only shakti has fans Ashish karan mouni kritika they all have fans

Exactly, why Shakti Mohan shouldn't be a contestant? This show's main tagline is 'Dancing With The Stars', She is a STAR! that is another thing that, she is a trained dancer also!

In my opinion, there's a difference between trained dancer's and professional dancers. As a trained dancer, you've been taught to do some dance forms. You're good at it. As a professional, you're beyond good. You're amazing at dancing, basically perfect.

Ritvik is a trained dancer. But Shakti is a professional. She makes her living off dancing. There's no question at all, she has a CLEAR advantage over the others as the WINNER of a PROFESSIONAL DANCING show.
