In the end it's really irrelevant how well trained she is. Because ultimately the winner is decided on popular vote not dancing ability...otherwise Lauren, Isha, Rithvik/Reshmi or Sushant from previous years would have won.

The only reason they have the great dancers in the show is to make it watchable...to give it the impression of it being a valid dance reality show...and as someone said...to set the level of JDJ.

Also, I'd just like to make it clear that I'm not a Shakti hater. I actually really like her and her dancing, just not when she's competing with people she has a clear advantage over.

Yeah, the choreographers are also stars in their own ways. But only SOME of the choreographers are celebrities. Sneha may be a Salsa champion, but she is not a celebrity yet (with due respect to her).. on the other hand, Shakti Mohan is a celebrity.. it's her advantage that she is a professional dancer also.

JDJ - Dancing With The Stars: here a celebrity can come from any field.. he / she can be talented or multitalented or maybe without much talent!

She's learning dancing and now even assisting choreographers into movies then how can they add her. It's unfair, totally for other contestants!
But who are we to say like that afterall, the show is rigged from starting. lol.

completely agree with u. And Sneha is not an actress or well known face in Dance industry. Sneha is very much talented but not popular.

she s an actress so she s a contestant bt nt a choreo cant be a reason.
becoz salman,punit,n tushar has done a movie..
salman s doing more movies now...
if they r choreos n nt celebrities then why shakti s chosen as celebrity?
same goes wt lauren also...

Mummy !!!!! i came to the forum and it was full of post either about hosts or about shaki being contestants😭

Why it is not fair for shakti to be a contestant??

It is fair definitely fair as this is not the 1st season they approached trained dancer. Don't know about 1st season but in 2nd season Sudha Chandran was a trained dancer and not to forget Lauren last year.. just because she wasn't part of any Indian dancing shows before doesn't mean that she is less trained than Shakti. She was 1 of the top five contestant of 1 American dancing shows.

N moreover even Colors and JDJ needs trained dancers like Shakti, Lauren, Mouni and so on in every season after all this is a DANCE REALITY SHOW. And apart from some favourite celebrity with their fan following there are more than 50% of general viewers who watch this show just for dance who simply can't wait till semi finale and finale to witness some brilliant and mind blowing performances. So yeah trained dancers needed for the general viewers of the show who simply don't give a damn about celebrities and favouritism. No all these trained dancers are the reason for general viewers to get hooked with the show.

N other issue why Shakti is not choreographer when salman, punit, mohena are even they all come from same platform???

Did JDJ was on air when salman and punit were shooting for ABCD???

is mohena doing any movie or other projects while choreographing JDJ? ?

Because lots of hardwork and time is needed to be a choreographer than contestants. And does shakti really have that much of time??

No. Because she has one popular youth show on her shoulder where she is a female protagonist. N unlike others leading ladies of saas bahu shows (no offence to saas bahu show) she have to rehearse for her own show's dance performance as it's a dance base youth show.

N this girl is so professional that she won't take any projects where she knows that she can't give her 100% and most of us knows she won't do any compromise when it comes to dance.

And atleast she is not like some of other celebs who behave like " hawww I HAVE A HUGE FAN FOLLOWING TOH MUJHE NACHNE KI KYA ZARURAT HAI. THODA HAAT PEHER HILAU TOH VOTE DE HI DENGHE.

PS: I am not a shakti fan but I respect and adore her when it comes to dancing.
