Public is so ignorant that they cannot make difference between good and Best .The past history of these reality shows and the public voting system has once again raised the brows ...leaving a Question about their authencity . If they have been the real ones then yesterday millions were not got a shocking surprise .Even the result left Judges also in surprise . None of them were visibly happy with the result .Earlier also it happened in Indian Idol when Rahul was eliminated , then Fame Gurukul where Quazi won and few days back in SRGM where becoz of this system of public votes Debo won ...and Sameer ... in lil champ found his place despite losing to Diwakar with 112 votes
.Rightly said by Longi that" in such contest ...one walks away with prize and other with surprise ...and we are going leaving so many surprised and taking surprise."

Who were the three genteleman sitting inside the room ...the so called Auditors .. no body knows ..if they were the hired one ... genuine one or some officials of Sony TV ..And how come???? within 1 hrs of closing the votes they have come out with the result. If this is so fast paced then for so many results for various examinations in our country need not much time to be disclosed .
Why didnt they told the margin of difference of votes ?? So many Questions are unanswerable .
Now the real story begins when Jassi found her spot in last 4 . Since then it was apparent that something fishy is going on to make her win . Everytime even getting good scores from the judges ...Shweta was kept in last two choices ... to shake her confidence level ... to make public think in the break ... that if Shweta is out or the other one ...but for Jassi she was the only contestant who was kept in a safe zone at first instance ..
What soever is the truth behind this whole story ... one truth always remain ..that People have made Jassi win ...not Mona singh .
For the whole world ,Shweta is alredy a winner when a legendry director Sanjay leela bhansali has said that after Madhuri he has got a real dancer . This is more than enough for Shweta and for those who knows the taste of real dance .And this win is great than that win where 65%public is not happy with the results. And so are judges .
Now the slogan for these relaity shows should be ..
" May the manipulated ones Win, not the deserving ones "

wow....amazing logic!!!!👏

It's not so clear-cut when the show involves subjective eliminations. Often the most deserving player, the one viewers want to win, is clearly seen as a threat and voted out, especially on shows like these where the viewers/public do the final voting. And that's now part of the show.

Beautifully written. 👏 I totally agree with the first part. As for second part JDJ is the first reality show in which all the elimination till finals seemed right. Every time the contestant who performed bad was ousted in the next episode. So that way JDJ was better.

But why are you taking this negatively. Thats the rule of reality shows. One who has most fan following will win. And in my opinion whats wrong in it.

If Mona has won today it was through fair means. Many may think that was not fair.... Sweta Fans may feel bad too. But then she got less votes so lost. It hardly matters anymore if a contestant is deserving or not to win such shows. You need fans and if you have them you win.

It's happening in other reality shows too. It is happening in this too. So lets take it as normal. At the end of the day one thing we need to decide. Should we vote and waste our money or not. Just the point that has been made below is what most of us do every week and maybe will do so in future again I feel.

But for all the decisions these reality shows gets to make, viewers every week make an even more important one. They choose whether to continue to invest themselves in a show that seems more and more random and unfair.

That is my point actually . Should people waste our time , money to vote . in reality shows .There is nothing negative about Mona . If Sweta would have won Mona Fans would have thought that way ...

And This article have said all .

But one thing Bhaskar ... i really have some doubts about these fair means .

OK may be they are fair ... because no fairmeter is available ... but atleast they should have told the votes difference ...

Yesterday i saw somewhere..that for some other reality shows ..some company has put some telephones lines open to vote for their favourite contestant . that too free of cost .

In another show .. some contestant has purchased Sim card to vote themselves .

So many reality shows have come and gone...

Now I am waiting for Big Boss...the concept sounds interesting...is it like survivor?...But they will all be in one house...and celebs all of them...

Let the entertainment begin...and Peace to the world!

it's like big brother...they all live in one house, I haven't really watched big brother here but I think (not sure though) that the cast actually votes people off (instead of janta)...or I'm confused with another show

yeah, I wasn't too keen on watching that before but now that I know there are celebs in it, it may be worthwhile to watch (anyways, the jdj timeslot is free so why not)

The SMS voting is like a hot craze now.Its on the line of americal idol -the only difference being in the case of American Idol the phone number is a toll free number whereas in India i think per SMS costs > 5 bucks.

The point is, how much money should an individual spend, should he spend at all or not, who finally gains who loses, is talent really is recognised or popularity wins the race.

Well the answer remains with the individuals whether they want to spend money on these votings or not. The shows have become immensely popular after public voting was introduced. The revenue collected from these votings is a lot more than money earned through sponsers before. So the channel stands to gain and most of the reality show winners or ther top few are made to sign up persoanl bonds with the channel to share earning %.

The participant gets the necessary platform, the show gets publicity, the public chooses its favourite, the channels earn tremendous revenue in conjunction with the mobile phone partner and the public involvement at times results in public overspending to make his /her fav contestant win.

The decision lies solely with the public to draw the line - how much is practically feasible and how much is going overboard..only they can draw the line.
