I agree with you! I liked Shveta Salve's dancing so much. She really deserved to win. I don't approve of this voting system anymore. How can the audience decide the better dancer? The judjes were so shocked at Shveta Salve's first performance. They did not expect a tele actress to perform so well. How come does Pooja Bedi know that Shveta is a trained dancer? Does she have her past records or certificates? It was very foolish of her to pass comments without any info on Shveta Salve at this stage when she needed the votes of the public. Well, the fact is that everyone knows who deserved what and who is a better dancer. Shveta Salve has formed her image and has got the praise and applaud of all the judjes. I wish her all the best! She is still the best! 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 😛 😉 😊

I disagree for this statement.

I think there is a fine line between being someone's fan and appreciating a good performance. I may be someone's fan but it does not necessarily mean the person I am crazy about is the best talent.

This is not a popularity show.It is a talent show. So talent should be the criteria which should decide if the participant is worthy of vote or not.

When it comes to selecting the best hero or heroine or the most popular drama then yes, popularity, TRP plays a role but if it is a dance competition what is the most important thing that needs to be judged? whose performance mesmerises you, moves you so much that you get up and give a standing ovation !! it is the performance that decides it.He or she could be famous or someone very ordinary. But just because the better performers opponent was someone famous, does it mean this person should lose out? That is not judging a talent show then anymore it becomes something totally different.

Winning is important but at what cost? Buying sim cards, publicising the event or campaigning or if we call it a good marketing strategy or public relation is the factor then only the very rich, very popular personalities should partake and then again why have a show...just declare then the winner.

reality show is for showcasing talent...choosing talent ..not a belief or a fad.

Yes reality show is to select talent but then get judges to take the decisions. If you make the public take decisions then this is going to happen.

Let me ask you Adi didn't you vote for Aamna for the lycra?? But was she the deserving one then? Wasn't Sweta the more deserving one. So why did you vote for her then. Because you are her fan and wanted her to win.

So what wrong did Mona fans do. And buying sim card and voting well again I will say the same. It is my money and it is upto me to decide how I use it. Is there any rule in the contest saying you can't vote for yourself or that you can't from 200 phones??? So then whats wrong in that.

If you reall want to blame then blame the system.

I beg to differ again.

When it comes to beauty or style I would say it lies in the eyes of the beholder. But when we talk of a talent like singing or dancing or acting...its the ability to do it which should decide. I love Amitabh Bacchan but tomorrow assume he partakes in a talent hunt show for singers and competes against Jackie Shroff - i would definitely choose Jackie Shroff, for the simple reason that jackie sings better.

Amitabhji is my icon, but that is for his personality, for his acting and for his screen presence and I am very well aware of the fact . Just because I worship him does it mean I overlook the fact that Jackie is a better singer or deserves the title more. That is confusing the matter and diluting the cause.

Some decisions should be practically taken using the head and not the heart.

Vote 100 times for one contestant by a single person ... then it means that only supporters solidarity will count ... not the efficiency of that particular contestant.

How can you say it is unfair?? Simdi is there any rule saying one person can't vote 100 times for one contestant? No...... so when one contestant do the same for her/himself whats wrong?

Yes you are right. It is fan solitarity that counts. You have more fans than X so you win. I tell you if Rajeev was here dancing I wouldn't have been suprised if he had come to the finals too 😆 When actually he is one of the worse dancers.

This is reality show....... Change the system change the rules..... only then you can get proper results.

Adi let me correct you that was no beauty contest but a style contest. And how they take themselves on the screen. And it was supposed to consider the stars presence on screen this year.

Aamna was the worse styled actress this year in KTH. But there Sweta was the best and so she won. You took that decision based on some pictures and one DYND episode. Was that fair then???

Yes decision should be practically taken fine but then make that atmosphere. It is not a problem just in the reality shows in India. But everywhere in the world.

It is not that I am saying Sweta was underserving. But the results are what was expected. Mona has more fan following so she won. If it was rajeev maybe he would have also won 😆 If it was Amitabh then let me tell you Adi he would have won here.......

The channels, the production company ,the partners like the cell phone companies....the joint ventures have proved so successful and they have tasted blood..there is a total vested interest..u think that system will be changed only because of ethical reasons or principles??? No way !!! to them at the end of the day what matters is the profit figures in the balance sheet. Ethics can go take a hike - after all they haven't killed anyone, so no crime.

Who is it that can make the difference then? It is the public. they can either choose not to vote or when vote use their head instead of the heart. Choose talent over popularity.

Talent...popularity...deserving ...undeserving...

the situation is like chicken and egg!!
That is why for film awards we have 2 categories...critics award and popular awards...
I think in JDJ by giving equal weightage to Judges and public opinion we atleast had the 2 best contestants enter the final...

In my opinion given the voting trends in India for reality shows the channels should also have a critics award and a popular award...
So if we had 2 awards for this show with say 25 Lakh Rs in prize for each that would be the fairest judgement!!

And if a contestant was popular with the masses and got Judges thumbs up as well he would take home the entire 50 lakhs!!...

Any takers for this??? 😛

Why blame the public. It is normal human nature. You are someones fan so will vote for that person. You were Debojit's fan so supported him from the starting. When actually Hemchandra was way better than both the finalist. Thats the normal practice. You support your fav and vote for him/her.

And yes the comanies and production houses and channels will never change this system. They are here for business and now know how to make big bucks easily. Why should they change.

Finally this is the bitter truth. We will have to live with it. So better not to get too involved in these shows. Does not make sense actually.

But yes one thing is true. All these reality shows have shown one thing. The talented ones who got eliminated early made big in future. The winners have not done well.... Be it C-2005, FG, or II-1. It was the ones who got eliminated early but were really good have made a successfull carreer. Maybe we will see the same here too. I have a strong belief that Sweta will soon launch into film.... and a big banner one mind you....

👏

I am with you. Very well said. This will actually tell the real winner and the popular winner. And if one is both and really the best....
