All I hear is Mahi and Chang are not trained dancers while Yana and Sushant are trained dancers and so the show is not fair, well this is what i think.....

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa is an adoption of "dancing with the stars" and "strictly come dancing" which a supposed to be ball room type of dance.

Are we saying that Sushant and Yana are trained in all the forms of dance like salsa, mambo, the Argentine Tango, jive, cha-cha-cha, Paso Doble, waltz, contemporary, stomping, hip-hop etc?

I believe the right thing we should be saying is that Sushant and Yana have a better sense of rhythm than Mahi and Cheng had when they first come on the show;...... if not people like Mel B, Brooke Burke, Lil' Kim , Toni Braxon, Alesha Dixon, kristi Yamaguchi, Hard kaur ......... (and the list goes on) should not have been on any of the shows as they were all musically incline.

I am not an fan of Sushant or Yana's but I do appreciate the work that all the dancers put into their routines, The choreographers have a-lot to do with this, if their routine is good and they know their partners strengths and use them well then they will always look awesome ⭐️on the dance floor.......

this is my opinion, if you feel I am wrong then enlighten me.....

Answer to you question what is a trained dancer means if i am not mistaken not what a trained dance is?

Training basically means you develop your skills on certain things which you have not got .. education is a training, i don't needed to explain the difference betn literate and illiterate..

a literate joining a management course and an illiterate joining the same course and you expect both of them to score 100/100 !! it is not that illiterate cannot score but it takes time in comparison with the literate..

if you take the case of dance it will be the same.. a person who never danced before will take time in comparison with a person who know or undergone certain dance forms or performed dances.. so you cannot compare Mahi with Sushant at all..!! it will be ridiculous and ignorance..

sushant is a shamaik davar trained dancer..... and Chang and Mahi have no professional training or dance background!!

so in this competition they r comparing a professional dancer to newbies... i think Chang and Mahi r doing a great job considering their competition!! Chang deserves to win more than Sushant cuz his improvement is much much greater than Sushants.... and i also feel Chang has done more versatile dances than Sushant too!! 👍🏼

So GO Chang!!!! but my personal fav is MAHI!!!! 😃

sushant has improved a lot his first perf only got 20 marks now he mostly gets 30s if not a 30 then 27+. also it is very hard to maintain top scorer/full marks so he obv works harder for that
one more thing why is sushants named mentioned most when yana does this as a profession?
chang was made to dance in BC i saw his interview myself shahid and others helped / made him dance. shahid was trained under professional dancers and is considered one of the best dancers so he is definately not completely untrained or compeltely new to the field either.
mahi has danced in shows i myself have seen ltl she danced with mishal
only untrained dancers are akhil and shekhar 😕 even renuka has done a dance in hahk

Trained dance is a dance performed by a trained dancer. I hope the OP knows who is a "trained dancer".
Regarding Sushant not knowing all kinds of dances on this earth, I appreciate the OP for a very classic and successful strawman... You had me going there for a second. I guess that's where debate experience comes in handy. In layman's terms, what Sushant does not know has nothing to do with the claim that he is a trained dancer.
Regarding the popularity, just like how popularity alone is not enough without skills, the reverse is also equally (if not more) true.
So, yes, Sushant is a trained dancer. If the competition was fair as far as entries are concerned, he would either have been rejected or would have faced similar dancers.

tell me one thing is a any competition any game completely fair
like 2 teams split into two randomly without a PE teacher(for example) knowing capabilities of all obviously both teams wont have equal chance of winning ....................
in a game if its tottenham vs manchester untied even they dont have equal chance of winning more chances are Man U will win ....
in this case too sony/ whoever decided don't know exactly hw capabale the contendors are in first round ppl wouldnt have guessed straight away that sushant would be consistant top scorer right????😕
