Since the show is dance based hence the participants are expected to "Dance" and the winner needs to be decided on skills attributed to dancing and not cuteness levels or handsome quotient? The participants are celebs but they have not participated as the character played by them in xyz show. The celebs have categorically stated that they are in the show as themselves, hence the parameters need to tangible and for the real person exhibiting real skills and not for some fictitious charac portrayed in a fictitious show. This is what is being deliberated upon. Involving public vote doesnt mean senseless voting, remember votes are money put in by public so why not put in on the deserving one?

They are popular because of talent.. now a new platform is given to them to show their talent.. infact they should not have selected people who already know dance, and putting them together with people who don' t know .. it makes lot of difference in voting.. public should vote for those who does not know dance, and keep them in the competiton, so that they can develop this talent too which can increase their popularity..
