infact it irritate me a lot wenever others contestant fans come n bash gud one...have faith in ur fav...he will do gud yaar...but if others r gud wats ur problem guys...appreciate them...there hard works...see there performance too...like or dislike its ur wish but just for the sake of ur fav kisi best dancer ko hadd se jata bash karna is not gud...
i saw that gurmeet ke fans har samay gurmeet ko protest karne aajate hai...i mean com'on yaar if he will dance gud ppl will automatically like it...u guys dnt have to force them...i never start fight first but wen this ppl bash other like hell i cant stop myself...i want to shake them n tell them plss come to reality...if gurmeet will dance gud i will like it...but wat the point of saying it...ufff

well i dint find ppl hating gurmeet a lot...
wen he is doing gud ppl r appreciating him...but its becoz of his fan that some ppl hate gurmeet...this fans r insure...thy cant see there actor to lose even if he is not doing gud...
no body is blind here...
gurmeet is gud n harmless so y r we going to hate him...its just like we like other contestant n we want to appreciate there work...

That secret only they will know. I really don't go gaga over any male celeb, so I can't relate to it and don't have an answer to it either. For me I am a fan of people's work, be it dance, acting, painting or anything you wanna name it.

Even in BW, I don't have a fan per se, for me characters or storyline take precedence over an actor then be it SRK, Salman or Aamir. I will go gaga over a character or brilliance of the cinema than someone who doesn't even know I exist. Doesn't work like that for me.

But when it comes to illogical arguments/bashing, even I can't help but open my mouth, no matter how much I try, thus the long essays from my end 😉

Agreed, I think blind fans are one of the biggest reasons of the so called bashing of GC. And people have even said that to me. I love humble and down to earth people, and GC is one of them. So I appreciate him and his acting, but when people bash others for their love, that is something mind boggling.

exactly...we r not bashing gurmeet...we r bashing to his fan...n just becoz of them we have to say all this kind of words...
even i like down to earth ppl...n gurmeet is one of them...i really like him in geet...i appreciate his face expression but that doesnt mean i have to like his dancing too...i have my choice n have full rite to support them but not as a blind person...
if my fav is doing something wrong i hardly feel bad to bash her also... but if she is doing her best n ppl still want to fight wat can i do...😉...i become helpless😆

I agree with your views about actors completely. An actor worth his/her weight gives shape to a fictional character. Unfortunately, the naive public can't seem to separate the two...while an actor should be appreciated for his talent, one should never be deceived that the character is the actor.

I am rather indifferent towards him... why are the likes of me not included in your post?😡😆

just joking, please don't think I am really angry at you.

But I think I can answer the 'hate him' part:

People don't hate him, they tend to start disliking him because of his fans behaviours and when that behaviour gets too much for them to handle/digest they go on to the next stage which is hating him.

It's not Gurmeet himself but his fans rather. Same with other celebs. It's the fans that make people hate their favourites or love their favourites.

Honestly, I find Gurmeet very humble (from seeing him on Jhalak) and good-mannered person BUT his fans really make me want to dislike him. I don't let them is another thing (and let me tell you it's not easy at all) but honestly after all this I don't think I'll ever think of Gurmeet in a light way, all this hate from his fans would ALWAYS be ASSOCIATED with him in my mind.

His fans might not like it but we are all human beings and we ASSOCIATE things to people. That's how we remember most of the people in our lives. We associate them with things around them or us - be it a habit of a person or something they did or something someone else did to/for them.

He is the only one of JDJ5 that never shows any expressions on his face when judges comment on his performance (but then again I don't always watch the comments section). Others have this upset or disappointing look (which is to be expected) but I have never seen him have any such expressions. That makes me want to respect him more.

So all this indifference I have towards him is because of such qualities only. And, for me, it's not easy to forget his fans rather horrible behaviour on this forum so all the credit goes to him alone.
