Writing a lot is never a bad thing. It's amazing when I see people express so wonderfully without blatantly making a statement with nothing to back it up 😃

So coming to the point, yes I have to agree with you in terms of audience connection and I loved the psychology twist to your argument, amazing, I have always admired psychology and human brain, it's fascinating 😃 So loved reading that perspective. So anyways, yes WCs will have to make audience connection, but only if you're a mediocre dancer like Karan. As far as I have seen good dancers don't have to rely on that since from day one I have seen people applauding them. So I would agree with the connection point for Wahi. He definitely doesn't have enough time which may be GC or Bharti had to improve their dancing and rise above for audience.

But the main issue I have is that the people who have been here longer, they get saturated for having to work non stop for 11 to 12 weeks. And that saturation could be with their ideas, dance steps, creativity, even their stamina. Psychologically speaking, someone who has been under the scanner for 11 weeks compared to 4, definitely will affect their performance. I mean I can already see that with Rithvik, for me his childhood dance and yesterday's dance looked quite similar and if given time I am not sure if they can keep the standards high compared to their initial episodes, just a speculation based on my saturation theory. It is difficult to maintain high standard for a longer period of time than a span of 4 or 5 weeks. For example, whatever the reason might be, GC did good for 5 episodes and then it started going downhill from there and from what I have seen on the forum they are tired of seeing Isha's dance forms, for them it looks the same (not in my opinion), but the point is if the WC were given the same amount of time, then one can compare and be fair to judge them on the same level. So from my POV, they aren't judged on the same scale since may be by the time they reach their threshold or saturation point, the show would have ended. So basically the gist of my argument is that the contestants who are here longer are at greater risk of criticized for being repetitive compared to the WCs because everyone likes change and freshness and that is a big plus for WCs. So for me I would always speculate what would have happened to the WCs if there were to be here longer and that's a big minus for them from my side. And thus I still am not convinced if I would like to see WC as a winner.

P.S: And I can't wait for Big boss either. And I hope they don't have an actor with crazy fan following, that would ruin the whole atmosphere just like it is happening here. And in Big boss I wasn't very vocal cuz of lack of time, but this time I shall be and can't wait 😃

If we start listing down the number of unfair things on JDJ, the list would be endless.

So, I personally just try to enjoy the performances and not worry too much about how things ideally should be.

Honestly, all the participants on this show are celebrities anyways. It is not going to change anything significantly for any of them if they end up being the final winner or not. it would be safe to say that none of them are perhaps actually looking to rely on dancing for their bread and butter.

Perhaps for most of them, it was an opportunity to do something different for once in their career and also have some fun while being part of JDJ.

And finally as far as how the contestants get ranked, no one knows exactly how it works except that 50% points are judges points and 50% are the audience voting. NO ONE has actually seen what the ACTUAL formula or MATHEMATICAL details (lol) are when it comes to the channel calculating the rankings every week.

So, let's all just enjoy the performances and the show while it lasts.

If they have no right ( or it's not right) to win the competition then why they have brought in the competition on the 1st place.. 6 week later,or 6 week before how does that matter?
For example-In Indian Idol u see one contestant going out due to his bad singing but then coming back n registering his name in top 3 then those other contestant or janta dont shout like arre yea toh out ho gaya tha phir kaise Top 3 mein aya..main kyu nahin.." :)

It's all about talent..If you can't do ur best inspite of being there from the start of the competition n other who came in the middle n still doing best then why they cant win? !

Buddy, sorry but I don't call Karan a brilliant dancer. He is very mediocre to say the least and it is seen in his performances. While the other two at a different level all together.

WC or no WC - its all about hardwork and hardwork pays. While it may seem unfair - yet I personally feel that the WC's have to work harder to connect with the audience and also to perform better because the original performers have set the bar so high. Isha and Salman are brilliant and to match them by any WC is a challenge for themselves and if they are able to manage that - it is completely fair to win it.

Watching Saturday's performance - isha and salman deserved a 30 - and they got it. While simlarly - RD and his partner could not portray a different style than the children's episode and they scored less. At the end of the day - it is the amount of hardwork each contestant puts - baring of the fact who came in first and who came in between. For example - RD was really good in the last weeks episode but it was Gurmeet's performance yesterday that was brilliant. If I do not belong to a particular fan base - then I would vote for the performance I liked and the performance that deserved my vote - not on the basis of WC or no WC.

Forget the WC's - do you really think the good contestants need to be voted out!? Darsheel was so much better and yet he was voted out - yet Bharti is still in and may I add - however funny she is - she does not match to the level of performances that JDJ has. Is that fair!? As long as a contestant deserve it - they should win - but well we all know - its on voting so I guess it would be plain ridiculous to expect the "best" one to win.

I feel whoever deserves it the most should win - someone who has been consisten throughout and managed to impress the audience with all performances. :))

Strictly my opinion :)

Great post by the way!

he is medicore in some performance coz ussey improvment ke chance kam miley ,

if u see from start many contestant were there jinka performance KW level se bhi less tha but after juges ke feed back n cherographer ke saath bonding n understanding se unhoney improve kiya ,

choro grapher ko partaner ki weakness n strenth understand karney ka more time mila

if itna chance KW ko milta then vo aur better kar sakta tha coz right now vo kaafi accha kar rha hai

its deffo about hard work , sometime juges wrong kar jaatey hai like ritik was best in sat but score usey goo se bhi kam mile who was very medicore in his act , all act done by shammpa , he is not consistent also ... where ritik was best all act done by him

If the contestant puts in the hard work and performs well on the day - then why not? Entering the competition at a later stage shouldn't be the main focus here. Ultimately it is the performance.
