... oh, and I'd like to add Prachi Desai came back and won as a wildcard, so there's nothing to prove that it won't happen again (to the people saying that the wildcards have no chance)

Fair coz WC will have to proove twice more to get audience votes!! anyways jdj judges r biased to old contestants & it usually hppens at the final vote ones who stayed longer in competition always has extra edge in udience votes so fair naa let majority decide!! Not to forget WC r v talented this year!!

See the case of Shibani or Darsheel.
Infact i was surprised to see that they took totally new ppl in wild card rather than picking up from those who were eliminated initially.😳
Normally in wild card they pick up from the already participated contestants who were eliminated but here the case is different.

@blue, very well said, Karan being a mediocre dancer is part of top six while Shibani and Darsheel, much more better dancers, had to leave at a early stage given the fact that they were longer on the stage compared to KW.

@pink: This would have been at least a bit more feasible to accept (like Prachi, not that I agree with this decision either) compared to new people all together.

P.S: I have only used the above celebs as examples. No bashing intended.

SURELY FAIR,THIS SHOW IS ABOUT DANCE AND DANCING ABILITY OF THE STARS,NOT ABOUT WHEN YOU ENTERED IN THE SHOW.

ABSOLUTELY FAIR GAME. If the wild card did not come, this show was drowning. Isha was the only contender who had chances. GC is not giving consistent best show and not focused everytime. Bacha Kaun.

I am very happy Karan, Rashmi and Ritwik are here. My bet is on Rashmi winning this. GC Not a chance 200% sure about it. Isha - I would love her to win it. Rashmi and Ritwik have the most chances to win it. I am still betting on Rashmi.

Its completely fair. Everyone was aware of the format. The older contestants were not kept in the dark about wild card entrants. Everyone knew about it when they signed the contract. So its fair, IMO.

NO, it will not be fair to the contestants who are here from the beginning if any wildcard entry win...but i will also say that rithvik and rashmi are fab dancers and they deserve to be in top 3...

in my opinion colors channel is in fault...normally wildcard entry is for giving second chance to the contestants who are eliminated...but here they brought 3 new celebs in WC entry...what was the need of doing that?? they could have started the show with 16 celebs...then it would be a fair competition...

Just a few inputs from my side. Though most of it is already said but still the following are my POV
1. The fatigue factor kicks in for everyone the longer you stay the more chances of fatigue
2. Repeatation of steps is a possibility for the people staying longer both in terms of dance steps and in terms of concept
3. Chances of injury increases for people staying longer which means no points just votes
4. Taking the performance level higher everytime becomes tougher for longer period of time
5. Though people comming later has a harder time to make connection with the audience but then in this case most people already have a very big vote bank behind them.
6. The staying and going is not just based on the capability of the dance for though all may claim so, most people do not vote on the merit of dance.
7. Dance being an art form, somehow I find most people liking their favorites performance everytime which means we are biased anyway in our choises on who is our favorite what dance form we like etc.
Of course WCs have an advantage but then they have to perform to win anyway. I would prefer someone who started earlier than a WC only if both dancers are at a similar level, else if there is a wide margin I would like the better dancer win, though I am not the best person to judge who is a better dancer
