" Mona's neighbours want Jassi to doll up

Rumour has it that with the onset of the new year, Mona Singh from Jassi Jaise Koi Nahin will undergo yet another make-over.
Given that the producers of the show have insisted that the actress stay in character even off-screen, Jassi's new look is likely to make headlines.
But do people ever get to catch a glimpse of Mona Singh? Well, residents of the building in Shastri Nagar, where Mona lives, claim they have seen her on more than one occasion.
Rajnikant Jha, Mona's building watchman, says, "I had seen her on TV and was surprised at how different she looks in person. Unlike Jassi, who's always in salwar-kameez, Mona usually wears T-shirts and jeans." Jha claims that "when she wears her spectacles, she looks a little like Jassi".
Residents of the building, where Mona lives on the 19th floor, occasionally bump into her in the elevator. Prabha Shetty, who lives a floor below Mona, says, "The first time round I didn't not recognise her.
She seems much thinner in person." Prabha's daughter-in-law Chetna adds, "Mona doesn't wear make-up." Both Prabha and Chetna feel it's time for Jassi to doll up.
Says Anika Chaturvedi, a student of Jamnabai Narsee School who lives on the same floor as Mona, "Mona looks different from Jassi. I like the way she looks without make-up and think it's time she showed the world her pretty self.
