Aamir Khan has the most expressive eyes for an actor and he definitely is a better actor than many. But I don't like his double standards. He supported the Narmada issue while appearing in Cococola/Pepsi(I don't remember which one) add. What is this???

Is it okay to influence the youth in a negative way by promoting poisonous drinks if you get money for that??? That too when these multinationals are exhausting all the water resources in rural India like Plachimada at Palakkad etc.

That is definitely double standards. I seriously think he was in for a little publicity stunt with that Narmada issue at the time of releasing his movie.

Buffie ,Your Hero is definitely a non hero however much I like his looks and acting.(I do like it)

and he even said he'll terminate his contract with Coca Cola if needed😛....He did say that😊.....whatever,I dont think it was a publicity stunt, as eventually he was the one who was at loss as his movie didnt release in gujrat, then it released, and was taken off immediately😕...I dont think its a bad influence, as every darn celebrity endorses coke/pepsi... its fun watching the advertisements....even otherwise, its not like people are going to stop/start consuming aerated soft drinks because these stars endorse it...I watch the ads, I do take soft drinks occassionally when I feel like, its not that I have the soft drink only because someone's endorsing it... ...Atleast Aamir's the only fellow in bollywood who stood up for some cause....I dont think it was a publicity stunt, as if that was what was intended, there are many many other channels than narmada.....and lol, he's not my hero😆..Just that I like him more than I like the other bollywood stars....My real hero is the President of India😃👍🏼👍🏼

I agree with Buffie here...so many celebrities endorse soft drinks with out knowing their contents...and they are not supposed to either; because even ordinary citizens are ignorant of such details. It is only the scientists and activists who come up with these revealtions from time to time, shaking us out of our pluralistic ignorance.

Aamir atleast only endorses Coke unlike manyof his Bollywood counterparts who endorse cigarettes or alcoholic drinks; i've never even seen him smoking onscreen in recetn years.

If he had wanted publicity, he would have chosen a less political issue than the Narmada dam, which has put him on the wrong side of the entire Hindutva lobby--a dangerous thing to do in Shiv Sena-dominated Bollywood, espeically if you are Muslim.

He has even supported the anti-reservation agaitaion raging across the country. If there is any actor whom i admire wholeheartedly, it is Aamir Khan.👏

I agree.Aamir khan is great actor but sometimes i get irritated with his perfectionist attitude.Shah rukh khan any day for me even though he repeats everything.Probably he justs wants to do things he his Best at.😆

As for Aamir's double standards another example is that he refused to attend any filmfare awards saying he does not belive in awards. And the same him was after the Oscars. Is it because oscars are american??.I dont like this attitude of his.

Its not because the academy awards are bestowed by an american organisation, but its because those awards perhaps means more to him...please, we have had actors like sallu and ash winning the filmfare awards😕......sadly in india, only the HIT movies are considered for the awards(most of the times)I personally think irrfan khan deserved a nomination for his splendid performance in maqbool, and so did anupam Kher in the movie maine gandhi ko nahin maara, and sachin for the movie Bose....a forgotton hero..now these movies arent even considered, and sadly most of the awards goes to the big banners or the movies which turn out to be hits.....I dunno how the academy awards works, but the filmfare awards is surely not a yardstick for excellence😕Himesh won the best singer award😕, when there are soo soooo soooooooo many better singers than him.....
