Wow…I guess I am the lastest one to post here!!

Here is how Blyti ka Safar on IF went—
I came to IF in July 2005 after the infamous studio ahem-ahem. I was as nuts about JJKN then as I am now; I wanted a more analytical perspective on this situation but the knee-jerk reactions at the SET Board really disappointed me. I ran a search for "Jassi" and luck led me to IF>

I was astounded at the perceptive and thoughtful analysis by the members here. In particular, Peaches and Lashy had put up a very thought-provoking discussion topic. The post that touched me the most was of Deepa. I have yet to know her personally but her writing skills and her in-depth views roused me.

The first PMs I received, welcoming me to the Forum, were from Lashy and Sid. I was a Newbie, kinda intimidated by the regular and frequent visitors who seemed to be such good friends. I never thought I could be a part of this group. But, what do you know—I belong now!!

These two helped me to overcome my shyness and contribute more. I want them to know how much I appreciate that.

And of course, Sid's commentaries rock!

The first real friend whom I made here was Neelam Di. There are very few people in today's world who deserve to be called "wise", but Neelam Di is truly wise. Her words are an anchor for me to look at the higher side of life.

Though I don't know them on a personal basis, Tina and Hema are like my soul-sisters. Everything that they write finds an echo in my thoughts—especially when it comes to MANDA. It's uncanny!

Another soul-sister is Indiainspires whom I DO know on a personal basis. I don't know why, I-I, but I feel so protective about you.

And Tabs—if it weren't for her, MandA would still be an unsolved mystery. I never thought anyone could go to so much effort to carry our letters and dedications; but tabs has proved that there are ppl who will do anything for friendship.

Moni, I still chuckle over the "present" you sent me. You are one bundle of fun who livens up the Forum!

Pratzz and Hansa, I came to know you very recently. But it warms my heart that you reached out at a time when I was most depressed due to the end of JJKN.

Reshma, I hope you don't mind my mentioning you; your PM made me feel that all my writing was worth something; if you can make one person a little happier, your work is a success.

Madhu di, I have always admired your intelligent and balanced views.

Ena, welcome to our Forum. If you stick around here you will realize that you have acquired a new family.

So many others whom I like but haven't told—Aabha and Mallika, the two sweethearts of the Forum; hippi, who is so mature and sensible that I am surprised she is just one year older than me; Buffie, whom I sometimes want to KISS and sometimes want to KILL; jassisuri; Jasmin; Sharmi; CB; the shaitans Piggie and Twiggie; ammu; sweet_kp; QT; Mauritian (my namesake as I am also Anjali); Nomi to whom I am eternally grateful for saving my life so many times by his videos; Ananya; reetsk; khush; our kids Prachi and JK; Enigma, who stirs me by her beautiful writings; bluelotus whose posts I came to read only very recently; Jyoti the JANDA expert ; Pooja; sheena the abhi lover—hey, I didn't mean to pull him down, he is quite a sweet guy, its just that I hated the Ash rumours; Sonia; Kanwal; hilarious; aishah who is missing………OMG this is making me quite sentimental.


Please, please don't be offended if I have left anyone out—it is not intentional. I may not be able to remember the names now, but ALL of you are part of my JJKN FAMILY and I lowe you guys!!

omg.... I did not even know that this 'Hickory Dickory Dock' post is all about our experiences, friends, our journey to I-F.... I never read it (the time when Lashy posted it, I was extremely busy).. 😭 . sorry gals for missing it for so long. Yes, u all have full right to get upset with me.. U all wrote so beautifully and such good words for me.. I really don't know if I deserve it or not. 😕 . but if you all have written then maybe I deserve it 😃 😳 .
I am not at all ready to write in this post... I will come back tomorrow and write it down - I need some time to scratch and wipe off dust from my memory (u see I am getting old)... it has been a wonderful journey..

wow I NEVER WENT THROUGH THIS THREAD UNTIL NOW WHEN JJKN HAS ENDED .
anyway so nice to hear that so many of us have found wonderful friends on this very forum.I am very glad and happy to know that many of u enjoy my posts.Well as for me,I have had a wonderful time with u guys making so many friends and some of them i know from yahoogroups where we all used to get together at one time.

As i said before preet was my first friend and then i made friends with jd , hema and deepa .Then i came to IF where i made so many friends ,had such a wonderful time discusising JJKN,MandA , JandA everything infact.

I dont want to name anyone specific as everyone are very dear to me like a family.

I enjoyed reading deepa,enigma,blyton,peaches,hema,sid and buffie's posts.They were awesome .Infact blyton ,hema and me have such similar thoughts and i love reading them.

I want to specially mention buffie who i consider to be the dhamaka of IF.Before she eneterd there were no controversies or daring posts but after she came thats it 😉 😆 the forum was bursting with activity.

I forgot to mention jp,tablet,rumi,queenbee,preet,mika, bluelotus,jd and lashy who were wonderful with their posts and they were the members whom i started with in IF.I want to specially mention jd who started at the same time as me and we used to have similar thoughts and interacted so well with each other.I do miss her and her posts

I love mallika and priya's pics of the episode.They brought life to the pics capturing the beautiful moments of a-j. .Oh yeah how can i miss honey,moondust,indianinspires,Nilam,bluelotus(sowmya),anju,a purva,dimdim,hansa and all others who have been part of my journey in IF and my life .

Thank u all for being such wonderful people and for being there for me as a friend.
