SidNi Story : Whom do I love?
The song started with him thinking of her and she listening to the song trying to forget his melodious voice and get lost in the song.
Mujh mein safar tu karti rahe

He remembered how breathtaking and seemingly beautiful she had been looking the other day bathing in the first rainfall of Mumbai.

She sat lost in his dreams ,his voice haunting her and making her forget everyone around. She sat in the lecture theatre with her hands on her face busy day-dreaming.

The lecturer threw a chalk on her face and asked her to take out her headphones and concentrate on the class. She bravely stood up and walked out of the class. She could leave her class but his show never!
Dekho na kaisi ijaazat mili hai
Ek doosre mein hifaazat mili hai
She waited impatiently for the song to end and started wandering in the corridors but the song got to her. He was busy dreaming of her and the line of the song made him smile like a fool.

She started dancing in the corridors imagining he was with her and started singing loudly. He imagined her sitting in front of him singing for him and he went ahead to touch her.

He went closer fearing she would disappear and no sooner had he touched her that she was nowhere to be seen. The other side she jumped around the college corridors going berserk.

He started laughing feeling like a fool ,this was the 50th day he was dreaming of her sitting across him. He hit himself at his stupidity and the other side she got excited realizing the song ended.
"Oh welcome back , song's over? Hehe I didn't realize ppl!" he shouted enthusiastically while Roshni made a face.
She sat on the stairs and said ,"Why were you lost in someone's thoughts?" she smirked imagining he was in front of her!
"Now you will ask me ,was I lost in the thoughts of someone?" he asked and Roshni nodded listening him say this. She was always able to tell what he would say.
"Well actually yes folks. You know friends there comes a time in our life when we want the moment to freeze and the person stays in your life forever!"
She blushed wondering if she would ever be that person for him. How she wished to hear his heart-warming voice everyday in the morning.
"So guys here's your buddy ,Siddy signing off. Have fun and keep falling in love!" he said and Roshni squirmed hearing him say that.
"Don't go na please!" Roshni pleaded to him and as if he heard her voice he replied ,"Sorry have to go ,can't wait."
She smiled and said ,"Fine until tomorrow. Love you!" she repeated with him and kept her headphones back in her back heading back home.
"Oh I am so sorry!" she said stumbling upon her neighbour and apologizing at once. He was busy speaking on phone so he just smiled in acknowledgement.
"Yes sir ,yes sir Siddy! Ya I'll do it." he said and cut the phone. She was standing there dumbfounded ,she didn't think twice and held his hand turning him to face her.
He was shocked by her response and suddenly she started blabbering ,"Who is this siddy? Is he that Radio jockey of radio mirchi?" she asked in a jiffy.
He was all zoned out seeing she had kept her hands on his. He loved her but was never able to confess but it was surprising to see her asking about Siddy.
"Ya the same one. Why do you ask Roshni?" he asked suddenly anxious to know why she wanted to know about a RJ?
"Oh you know him OMG! I can't believe it ,can you make me meet him?" she asked and he nodded seeing her excitement ,he couldn't say no.
She hugged him right the next moment and he felt as if he had achieved everything. How could he describe to her what this meant to him.
"Who is he BTW? Does he look hot? Of course he does ,his voice is worth falling for the his looks will be out-of-the-world." she completed all the while making cute faces while Siddharth just stood still admiring her.
"Arre tell na? What why are you staring at my face? Kuch laga hai?" she asked seeing him staring so intently at her.
He leaned closer to her and she became conscious. He touched her cheeks softly and whispered ,"You look cute when u blabber!"
She wasn't sure if that was a compliment or not but she couldn't help the red colour that spread on her cheeks hearing him say that!
"Uh would you like to have dinner with me?" he asked and she was about to say yes but he thought maybe she is uncomfortable!
He started to go but she held his hand and said, "Let's walk in the moonlight. I just love the lights you know?" she asked and he again got lost in her innocence of saying things.
"Your eyes flicker in the light in a way that I have seen nothing else do!" he said with so much sincerity that could make anyone fall for him.
"You say so deep lines ,are you a sadhu baba?" she asked and burst out laughing while he could just admire her but then he too joined in.
"You are the perfect mood-breaker! You don't like heavy talks na?" he asked her and she nodded in a NO.
"Hmm you like the lights ,so light talks!" he said making an analogy but by seeing her face he was sure he had cracked a very bad joke and she pointed it out too.
"That was very bad. You need practice dude ,you need to say much better pick-up lines to a girl when trying to flirt!" she said without realizing what she was saying.
"Who said I am trying to flirt with you?" he asked and she bit her lip ,bug he couldn't see it as she turned her face away trying to hide her embarrassed face.
"Uh aren't you?" she asked and he could just reply one thing ,"What if I am? Is it working?" he sounded hopeful.
"Ice-cream." she shouted and he laughed at the kid in her. He saw her coming back to him running and wondered what was wrong.
"Maybe it is!" she whispered in his ear and he had a smile on his face. A smile which said how much her reply meant to him.
She went back winking at him and started gulping her ice-cream in happiness. She was so happy that she would finally meet the one whose voice doesn't let her sleep at night.
It was a start ,something to build on. But will Roshni be able to forget Siddy and give Siddharth a chance?
