Chapter 3

How could she have neglected Siddy coz of Siddharth? She was confused and that is precisely when the thought rose in her mind ,"Whom Do I Love?"

As she exited the college gates ,she felt a rain drop fall on her head. She didn't know what to do ,she had always loved rain but today she felt absolutely no excitement.

Siddharth was waiting outside ,enjoying the rain. She had made his life heavenly ,he couldn't have asked for more.

Khudko main yoon kho doon

Ke phir na kabhi paaun

Roshni reached his door across her house ,she saw he hadn't cone yet. She had never been more confused in her own life. Who did she really love?

Siddharth walked towards his house eyeing the ice-cream stall where they had eaten it together the other day. A smile tugged at the corners of his lips.

Suddenly Roshni banged into someone and was about to fall when two strong arms held her ,she had closed her eyes in fear.

Siddharth was staring at the sky and ran into Roshni. He immediately held her steady and his already cute smile became wider seeing her closed eyes!

Siddharth gently traced her eyelids and her eyes fluttered open. He bent closer to her and placed a soft kiss on her forehead.

Roshni was feeling surreal after he kissed her ,she had never felt this way. How did she talk to him now? This was so difficult.

"Come on Roshni. It isn't some exam that you are fretting so much. " she talked to herself but the next second as she looked into his eyes she felt already failing in her exam.

His eyes talked loads about the feelings he had for ,he was not able to hide his emotions for the first time from her.

"So did you like Siddy dedicating a song to you?" asked Siddharth expecting an enthusiastic answer but he saw her down fallen face.

"Umm ,it was nice." she said and he wasn't sure why she was so down today ,maybe her mood was off. He thought to cheer her up.

"Are you pregnant? Just by seeing your mood swings" he asked trying to control his laugh and as expected her mouth turned to a big 'O'. She asked him to wait for 1 minute with her hands.

She went inside her house and called ,"Come in." He was now surprised ,what was going on in her mind ,scared and frightened he went inside.

"Siddharth" she spoke seductively and he was happy plus shocked. He hadn't expected her to do this ,then she did something which almost made him sick.

"Wait I will show you ,if I am pregnant." she said as she had held a cricket bat in her hand ready to hit him.

He ran to the kitchen trying to escape her ,then he ran to drawing room and picked up a pillow , threw it at her.

"Uh oh. Wrong decision ,the tiger just got more angry." he mumbled to himself but she heard it and ran behind saying ,"Tigress ,u idiot and she won't leave you now."

Finally after a good 10 minutes of run and chase ,they slumped on the sofa exhausted. Roshni has unconsciously kept her head on his shoulders.

"Huh. Pregnant Tigress." he teased her while she snuggles deeper in him. She wasn't ready to leave him and he didn't even protest.

"Siddharth ,I was very happy with the song dedication but.." she trailed off as her voice stuck in her throat.

"I am sorry ,I asked Siddy to say the song was dedicated by him to you but at end moment that idiot spoke my name." he said guiltily.

She looked up at him and kissed his cheeks stating ," That was the best thing her ever did." she said slowly and softly so that no one but he could hear.

He was stunned by her confession and even more happy by the kiss on the cheeks. They were still sitting close when he started to get up.

"Where are you going?" she questioned not ready to let him go. He smiled and came too close to her ,she was taken aback by the sudden move.

"You do realize this isn't my house ,do you angry and not-so-pregnant tigress." he asked her smiling ,she threw a pillow at him still sitting on the sofa.

"Oh my god ,domestic violence." he accused while she burst in fits of laughter. Her laughter made him feel happy about himself.

"You know sometimes you speak one-liners like Siddy." Roshni said putting a hand on her stomach to suppress her laughing spree.

The colour drained off from Siddharth's face ,she was still thinking about Siddy and this made him sad ,he didn't know why but it did.

He came out from the house bidding her bye in haste. Roshni was surprised by his behaviour ,then a life-changing thought came to her.

"Oh my god ,what if Siddharth and Siddy are the same people?" she thought rather loud and she sat in her hall holding her head in her hands.

Siddharth sat at the porch of his house ,he was thinking hard. What was happening? Roshni was behaving so different ,didn't she love Siddy anymore? Did she love him?

Next Day

"Siddharth ,Siddharth!" Roshni called him as he was about to go to his office. She was smiling and this made him happy.

He had thought alot yesterday and had realized that he would let things go with the flow. He was hopeful maybe Roshni felt for him.

"Hi Siddharth ,you know I have a slight problem. Could you help me and take care of Bruno for me?" she asked pointing at her baby pug.

"Obviously. Why not? But shouldn't you take him to the vet?" he asked caressing Bruno's head while he was loving his gentle touch.

"Ya ya ,I will come early from college and we both will take him to the vet. What say?" she asked and he nodded smiling.

She was about to go when he held her wrists and said ,"After Bruno-bachao mission ,we will have Siddharth-ptao mission."

She wasn't able to understand his meaning ,so she shrugged asking him to explain in a better way. He said ,"You-me-date!"

She showed a thumbs-up and he went in to take care of Bruno ,eagerly awaiting the evening.

On the other hand ,Roshni was finally able to come to terms with her feelings bit before that she wanted to know the truth.

"Now Siddharth is at home and if he is Siddy then I am sure that there will be no radio show today. Let's see!" she smiled at her brilliant planning.
