prior to that car ride, Arnav has not bonded with leher at all. He had picked her up four times as he says.

And one of those times was when Payal came back from seeing Khushi in penthouse. He had asked her to hand over a sleeping leher and Payal had stopped for a moment. I believe this is the time he was referring to when he said last time he asked Payal to hand leher over and she looked at him as if he was mad. He also immediately gave away the baby to nanny even though he himself asked Payal to hand leher over. Man the attention to details 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯

I do think that separation seems to be a professional decision and also, things seemed way better between Arnav and Khushi till premiere of the film. Which also released during year end in 2009.

At the same time since everything points to October, I think something did happen to Anjali and the baby after that which has resulted in Arnav thinking he failed his di and he doesn’t want to emotionally attach himself to a baby like his di did. Maybe that’s why he said di chose to leave him. Maybe it’s because of the baby. And it will sting a lot because he now had so much money and he still failed to do something for his sister.

and may be that is why he was so particular about his will 😱😱😱😱

at the same time, if something like this has happened then Khushi is already aware. Remember she and Arnav were not talking and she was concerned that this year he has no trip and he was going to be in india. She offered to stay back despite not talking so I’m sure she is aware of what happened to Anjali. But she and Akash may not be aware of extent of Arnav’s guilt. Maybe they do think it’s an accident and Arnav knows it’s suicide.

I'm guessing something happened before/in 2009. When Aman asks Arnav if Khushi bhabhi has returned back early, L seems to notice his stiff posture and Aakash's change in expression. Later, someone, I think Payal informs L that Khushi had been away to Lucknow due to some family emergency.

The family emergency and Arnav's reaction of Khushi being in Lucknow could have to mean that whatever happened to Anjali or her child might have been during that time period.

These just my thoughts.
