Khushi felt very awkward to face the family though all members were very familiar to her.Everyone including Aman and Pooja were silently watching her descending the stairs.Asha came forward and led her to the living room.Pratap went to his room.Aakash and Dhruv came forward and said hello.She was closely aquainted with Dhruv during her visits with Raichand family in Raizada house while Arnav was studying abroad.

Soon Arnav joined them.He looked at Aman who gave him a threatening look.

Arnav:Khushi,let us go and meet my mother.He took her to his mother's room and told everything to her.

Sandhya:I want you to be happy beta.I'm very happy that you answered the call of your heart.Anjali..Please do everything required to receive the bride.Please call pandit ji and fix a date for the special pooja for the couple.

Sandhya:Khushi..come here.

She sat near sandhya.She looked into Khushi's eyes and told Arnav::I never want to see her unhappy.

Arnav:I promise maa.

Sandhya:Arnav.. let her be with me for sometime.

Arnav:ok.

Arnav and Anjali left the room.

Sandhya and Khushi had a long chat.

Khushi:When can you come back to normal routine ?

Sandhya:Doctor has adviced for one month rest.

While Khushi was about to leave the room ,Sandhya asked Khushi: Do you love my son?Khushi was surprised to hear such a question at the moment.

Sandhya :Did you marry him for his money?

Arnav who came back to Sandhya's room to take Khushi back stopped near the doorway and listened.His heart beat faster.

Khushi :I love him more than anything else in the world.I love him very much but amma,I won't tell that now to him because I want to know whether he loves me really and whether it is an infatuation because we didn't get time to know each other well.

Sandhya:He is little arrogant.But he is good at heart.He is not a fool to marry a girl simply due to attraction.He might have seen in you something which he couldn't see in other girls.I've heard that you are educated,talented,good in house hold work and respect the family relations.You are also very beautiful.So you are a perfect match for him. Try to understand the nature of his work and if required in future you can help him in his business.

Khushi:Don't worry amma,I'll be with him always and will take care of him.

Arnav slowly walked back to his room .He couln't believe what he heard.He closed the door of his room and went and sat on the sofa and closed his eyes.He was feeling happy, very happy and he really wanted to dance like a small boy.But he controlled himself.He said to himself:No,I won't give her a hint that I know what she has in her mind.I want to hear it from her.I would wait till that moment.I want her to love me as no other woman has ever loved a man because I love her so.

He heard a knock on the door.He went and opened it.He saw her standing outside.He wanted to take her in his arms.He knew that it was a terrible task to keep away from her.

She looked into his eyes.He quickly looked away.

As Khushi and Anjali were helping Hariprakash to prepare the lunch, they heard Garima's voice in the living room.Khushi was too frightened .Anjali quickly went to the living room.Khushi followed her.

Pratap and the rest of the family were trying to console her.She lost her control when she saw Khushi. She came forward and slapped her on the face.

Garima was shivering with rage.She asked:Why Khushi,Why did you do this to me?We even complained to police.

Khushi was now crying covering her cheeks with her hand. The Raizada siblings were now boiling with anger.How dare this lady to beat poor Khushi?Anjali was crying and hugging her.

Pratap:Don't touch her.She is our daughter now.And withdraw the case.

Garima:There is no need of that.You please ask your son.When the police recognised the kidnapper this morning,they were not ready even to listen to us.

The whole Raizada family had a smile on their face when they heard this comment. Where is he?I want to ask Why he had done this to us?The whole news is in the media now.

Khushi:Amma,please forgive me.

Garima:You brought shame to the family by eloping.I don't want to see you again.As she turned to go with her relatives ,she saw Arnav standing near the front door.She stared at him.

Her relatives murmered:Garima, he is very handsome and elegant.Your daughter is lucky.

Arnav:Welcome to my home Aunty.Please have lunch with us and later I'll drop you at home.

Garima:You kidnapped my daughter and insulted us.

Arnav:I myself came with the proposal.You didn't listen.So I got what I wanted in my own way.

Garima quickly went away.

AnjalI:She is too annoyed

Arnav:She will come back later because she loves her daughter.

Khushi hurried to her room.

Arnav followed her.He closed the door and went to Khushi's room.She was standing facing the wall.

Arnav:Khushi,look at me.I want to talk to you.

Khushi:I'm listening.

Arnav:Look at me.

Still Khushi remained in the same position.

Arnav went and turned her towards him.He saw the red scar on her cheeks.He was too angry.Her eyes were filled with tears and she hugged him so tightly that it was difficult for him to breathe.He hugged her back and kissed her forehead.

Arnav:I know what you feel.Whether it is your amma or anyone else,I won't allow them to touch you .He was about to kiss her but suddenly he withdrew and left the room abruptly.

She wondered what happened to him.

Soon he left the house with Aman.

Khushi became comfortable with the whole family within a few days.But was feeling very sad as Arnav didn't show any interest in her.Most of the time he was in office and at home he tried his level best to keep away from her.

A few days before the Diwali, she was decorating the whole house with her hand made things.The whole family except sandhya,,Arnav and Khushi and Hariprakash were not at home.Anjali told her that she might find certain things in the old store useful.So she went there to see whether small pots were available.It was a small store and the lights were very dim. It was already blinking.While searching for what she wanted , something fell down accidentally from the top of the cupboard .Khushi was too frightened by the sound.Arnav who was reading the paper rushed to the store with panic.He saw Khushi sitting on the floor collecting the broken pieces of a pot.

Arnav:Khushi,are you ok?

Khushi:Yes Arnavji

Arnav:What the hell are you doing here?come out.

Khushi:Let me clear this.

Arnav: Hariprakash will do that.

While he was helping her to get up,the lights were gone.It was very dark inside now. Both were now conscious of each other.He took his mobile and with the help of the torch tried to keep themselves away from the mess on the floor.

He was holding her hand and suddenly she hugged and kissed him on his cheeks.He was not expecting it but felt thrilled.He hugged her back so tightly and was about to kiss her ,but suddenly released her and left the room.

Khushi was too disappointed and sad.She began to wonder about his behaviour.She went to her room ,closed the door, fell on the bed and cried.

Her thoughts went back to the day she sent a message to him after her engagement.

Flashback

She was sad as Arnav left her house very annoyed when Garima denied his proposal.She thought that they were not doing justice to him.She wrote reluctantly:Arnav ji,I want to see you.I can't marry my fiance.I can't forget you.The message was a surprise for Arnav but he didn't reply.He was very annoyed.So the next day she called him.He answered the call only after several rings.

Khushi:Arnav ji,I want to see you.

Arnav:Why?

Khushi:I'm not going to marry my cousin.

Arnav:Why?

Khushi:Because I can't forget you.And amma is going to send me with my aunt to Delhi.

Arnav:I don't want to see you again.

The call ended and Khushi cried till she collapsed.She daily sent messages to him but he didn't reply.

She went with her aunt to Delhi .She didn't like her fiance. .She didn't want to marry him.But Garima was too adamant that she won't marry Arnav.Garima thought that it would bring bad name to Khushi as the society would say that a poor girl had trapped a rich man.

When she came home for wedding ,She hoped that he would come and save her but there was no sign of him.When she went to temple with her amma and her relatives,she prayed hard to god to save her from wedding.It was almost dark when she was descending down the steps infront of the temple.Her amma and relatives were chatting and walking in front of her.Suddenly someone caught her from behind and covered her mouth.She couldn't even breathe but she recognised the person by the smell of the exhautic perfume.He took her behind a pillar and released her.She was finding it difficult to breathe as she was too frightened.He whispered:I;m here to take you away.

Khushi was rolling her eyes.Somehow she managed to speak.

Khushi:You are going to kidnap me?

Arnav:Exactly.

Khushi felt very shy when she remembered the way he spoke to her after the wedding .But why is he behaving strange now?SShe couldn't find the answer.She recalled the wedding night.

Arnav came home early because he was not feeling well.Khushi found that he had severe fever...The next day morning she found herself on his bed .His hands encircled her.

Very interesting update. I was under the impression that Arnav forced Khushi to marry him but seems like it was Khushi who persistently called him to take her away.
