PART 4

The day dawned. Khushi was very tensed and restless but the determination to help her family made her confident to appear for the final round.Payal along with Kajal accompanied Khushi to the AR Office. They were taken to a huge hall which looked like a studio.The adjoining rooms were full of different varieties of sarees. The 2 girls who were selected along with Khushi were already getting ready for the shoot.Khushi was given a red saree with matching silver accessories.Her hair was let loose and she was looking extremely beautiful .Payal and Kajal were staring at her.Khushi felt very shy and embarassed as everyone was complementing her.Every one was waiting for the Boss to come.The door opened and a tall , fair and a good looking young man came in. He observed the whole scenario and asked the floor manager whether every thing is set or not.

He replied: Yes Aman sir, we are ready for the final shoot.

Aman: Okay.Aman contacted some one through his mobile.

The photographer asked Khushi to stand in front of the camera. The camera was switched on and the photographer asked Khushi to turn and look to the camera.At the moment she was turning , the door opened and a man entered the hall.He came slowly and was absolutely stunned at the picture in front of him.He could not believe his eyes.He was staring into the most beautiful eyes he has ever seen in his life. Khushi was staring into a pair of deep brown eyes. Her heart missed a beat. ...oh..God...he is extremely handsome...Both of them were staring at each other. His eyes were now moving from her top to bottom.A shudder went through her. Payal and kajal were looking at each other. Kajal was amused at their interest in each other. The ring of a mobile broke the silence.

Aman : Boss, shall we resume the shoot?

The man who was called the boss and Khushi became aware of the surroundings.He continued staring at her and without a single word, the man left the room.Khushi was scared..Aman went after the boss.

After a few minutes,Aman came and discussed some thing with the floor manager. Payal was urging Khushi to go home. She didn't like the whole scenario.Inspite of Kajal's persuading to stay back, Khushi and payal left the place without having a word with the concerned people. Khushi just wanted to escape but she strongly wanted to see him once more.. Her eyes were searching for him, but he was nowhere.She didn't realise that she was keenly observed by the brown eyes through a CCTV.

Aman was totally confused at the behaviour of his boss.What happened to him?He entered his boss's cabin.

Aman: Arnav, what is wrong with you yaar?

Arnav was standing and staring through the glass window.He didn't answer.

Aman:What's cooking?

Arnav, still staring through the glass window,asked: Who is she?

Aman:Who?

Arnav:You know what I mean?

Aman:How do I know what bothers you?

Arnav:Don't pretend Aman. You know what I mean.

Aman:See, Arnav she is not of your type.

Arnav: So you understood what I meant

Aman:Seriously Arnav, It is high time you get a slap from some one

Arnav: And who dares to do that?Tell me..Who is she and what is her name?

Aman:She is Ms. Samantha sen

Arnav:Please send her a mail right now that she is selected.

Aman:Arnav, You were shamelessly staring at the girl.I've seen girls staring at you, but never seen you staring at a girl.

Arnav:Do what I say.

Aman:And what about the post of office assistant, She has applied for the post of part time assistant also.

Arnav seemed amused.

Arnav:That's fine.She is selected.

Aman:Arnav, I know that you are very selective about your girl friends.Those girls come after your money , looks and fame. It's high time you find some body who loves you for yourself.

Arnav's face darkened.His lips tightened.

Arnav: Aman,don't ever dare to talk about love.

Aman:See ,how happy I'm with Pooja .We love each other very much.

Arnav:Stop the stupid topic . Other wise I'll kick you out.

Aman.Ok, Boss.So I've to intimate this girl that she is selected.Right? And you think that she will accept the offer?

Arnav:Of course

Aman: I doubt.I think she was totally embarassed at your behaviour.

Arnav: You don't know these types of girls Aman,they will do any thing for money.

Aman:I'm not sure about this girl.She doesn't look so.Any way I'll inform her. Bye Arnav

Arnav Singh Raizada left the office only after 1 hr.He was sitting on his chair , closing his eyes. He was thinking about her. Who is she?Why I'm drawn towards her this much?

She is beautiful...Her eyes, lips..Oh..I want to see her again.

He was thinking about her while driving home and at night.

Khushi also couldn't sleep that night. She was thinking of him.She said to herself:Why I'm thinking of him? The way he was looking at me..devimayya .I can't forget.

Payal didn't like the way Arnav was looking at her. She told Khushi that she won't allow Khushi to go to AR office any more.

But the destiny had something else in store for them.

The very next day she got a call from AR office that she is selected as a model and office assistant.Payal and Garima didn't allow her to go. She sent a reply accordingly to AR.

Aman:Arnav, What do you say now?I told you know she won't accept.

Arnav:Offer her more salary and other benefits

Aman: Why Arnav?Why are you so particular about this girl? She is beautiful,ok, but why are you so adamant?

Arnav didn't reply for that. Instead he said:Do whatever you want, but I want this girl in my office at the earliest possible.With that word, he left the office.

Khushi was totally taken aback by the offer she got from AR.She got a call again from HR, Shaun, with the offer of more payment and benefits. She immediately called Kajal and shared the information. She called Khushi a fool for not accepting such a golden offer. There was only 4 to 5 months for the marriage.Khushi could not make a decision. Payal was afraid to send Khushi to that man's office who was staring at her loving sister.

The income from the textiles was not enough to make a better savings.Khushi saw the tension among her parents and at last decided to accept the offer.

Aman: Arnav, she accepted the offer

Aman saw the triumph on Arnav's face.

Arnav:Now, tell me my dear friend, who knows girls well,you or me?

Aman: whatever you say this girl is different, that I know.

Arnav: Send her an intimation to join after two days.

Aman:Arnav,what about the maintenance work of Sheesh Mahal?

Arnav: To be finished within two months. I m going to conduct the AR fashion show there.

Aman: When is Anjali coming?

Arnav: As Neha has health issues, Di may not turn up for the next few months.

Aman: When are you going back to Delhi?

Arnav:Not decided .

Aman: what about the meetings of next week?

Arnav: Aakash will manage.

Aman gave him a meaningful glance. Arnav raised his eyebrow at Aman.

Aman: You are a monster Arnav.

Arnav: Not to you

They laughed and Aman left after some time.
