Was reading your analysis . Agree with most stuff.
Prakash brothers were all traditionally petite built. This one seem better fit to be Rocky's right hand:) but his mannerisms
are passable.
I also liked asr's short nervous walk down the stairs looking for her
And detail about his watch, I was wondering about it since promo. Becos we have seen him buttoning unbuttoning many times but not watch. Appreciated the detail that it was Khushi's gift so he is wearing,

Ooh, the lost lover look.. Pity Khushi bhabhi never gets to drown in it

we can see many things by many pair of eyes...every mind is different and every opinion is different

yes bhabi, I agree with you completely. he already was tamed after confessing his love to Khushi. or there was no such thing happened on the first episode that he would show his anger. He was feeling guilty as he forgot their anniversary. And we are very much aware of feisty side of Khushi. She never spared him even when he was ruthless laad governor.

the reminiscing part was very much needed for the continuation of the story.

And yes if he could decorate the poolside with fairy lights and all, then he can blow balloon for her. remember how he brought all kind of Khushi's favorite dishes and beautifully decorated a table for her? he also gifted her a beautiful saree on that day. So ASR can do anything for khushi.

Faiqa di, I already told you I'm absolutely loved the episode. After watching it for umpteenth times I'm loving it even more.😛

IPK is the only thing that runs in me and makes me do things which normally I don't do.

I did recently Holi epi-analysis on Reblast ...and I do write my story, I do analysis on the forum on special occasion...It is just the norm has slowed down

But ,Yes it feels good to be back

one of my favourite angry indi writing was on asr... why create him if all you need to do is change him?

why love him and ooh and aah when you just want him to be someone else.

one thing about this man was his honesty. his innate staight forwardness.

wonder if we ever ask ourselves why we adored him. or for that matter khushi? wonder if we can come up with the real answer and stick to it.

and what is this erroneous notion of love "changing" people? why do women cherish it so? patriarchy? or just a diet of too much syrupy so called romance.

ipk was a rare love story because it dared to present the nature of love minus sugar coating. love and romance as it can be. and that's what hit me hard, making me think (when i could that is, which was not that often 😆) this will have a fabulous impact on all those who watch. i want my girl to watch it some day.

there was reality in its unbridled absolute romance, nafrat mohabbat gussa sanka fights faraq and all. and it, like its protagonist asr, never tried to please anyone... it was what it was.

yes, the hero did rip the heroine's dori in epi 2. on valentine's day, he did drag her to a temple and forced her to give in to his demands... and she didn't from day one ever cow down... she gave it to him.

her moving moving soliloquy... about that feeling that rose in the middle of nafrat. oh what a feeling that. ipk nurtured it and cherished it and said clearly love is a beautiful thing, way outside the trappings we give love.

when he said i love you to her nicely, brokenly... over the phone... many in the forum roared and said, that ain't asr's confession... nahiiin...

it was only after i love you dammit that there was elation. and dammit became more powerful than what the. because somewhere we knew him and knew his loving had to have that asr thing about it.

asr always had the ability to love wondrously, but was walled in, damaged. she too was damaged in her own way but coping differently, with laughter and relationships...

something just fell into place when they met... then connected... viscerally.

as we did with the show.

that gut wrenching connection is priceless.

and i don't need artificial sweetness added to the man the woman the pyaar the home the hp... nothing to make it work.

i have to say, i didn't really get asr anywhere in the segment. in a couple of looks, the moment i sensed it, i hit pause and made a cap.

that watch is not stylish. sad. and the clothes... all not quite asr. just because you get a waistcoat doesn't mean you get his style.

barun may have refused to cut his hair, but stylist could have done better. that was the triumph too of ipk... styling. weird or dapper, with more or less money, they sort of got it... yes shiny suit, but he could pull it off. colours were not just right, i used to find them deadly gorgeous, blue tie, green shirt, brown suit, yet somehow not off. and one look at barun in baat hamari and just six months later in ipk, and you'd know what a diff the hair and make up makes.

new production house i get the feeling... people who don't really get asr and kkgsr... they have seen episodes and gone with it in a physical way, without entering character. and lauing it.

haha, hp. brill observation about "traditionally petite built". even here ipk had tradition. i am just happy that he still has someone to yell at, and really when i meet khushi i need to tell her to stop trying to change the man... why the dammit can't he yell out for a coffee. 😆 😆

The episode was all about love conquers all. 😃
Although he is tamed he is the same person. He is the same person who was ready to do all the rituals since "Tumhe chahiye- Khatma karte hain".
The same person who danced to Salman's tune for her.

He was tamed even back then in all those post wedding episodes. So I would not say that he is changed.

The show starts with confused ASR. Now that is one thing that's changed. HP was not afraid of ASR - a big change; Him forgetting the date- ACCEPTABLE. Him blowing balloons (That was too much yet he is the same guy who decorated pool side on her birthday before) Him with present still the same. ALthough last time it was ordered and this time he is packing. I would say he is aging😆. To me not much have changed.

Him remembering the moments was more for the continuity and i am glad that they brought in those moments for new viewers and also for the old audience who moved on.

I loved watching this Khushi's Arnav although I still want that book from KKGSR: LG ko tame karne ke 100 tarikhe😆
