Thanks for reading the poem and the write up.

I wanted to read your take after finishing that poem. Now I head there to read into your disconnect.

The main reason why this episode worked for me was relative playing low on melodrama. This is daily soap world and what just happened was the central theme was their purported main story yet that was played real subtle by every one including Anjali in this episode. By the time of this episode, the stakes were really high, sinking trps, male lead coming back after 2 months, a major revelation , and this episode seemed to me like the makers were on a good redemption mode for all the inanity played out last 3/4 months. It was like a major reprieve for a batsman to start his innings again afresh, to start the story again from a clean slate.

Ofcourse most of my optimism turned futile later but as a stand alone episode this strikes chord with me even today...and yes Barun was magnificent by that pool side.

In a hurry so will be be laconic in my praise. it is very effective as far as I can tell.

by the way I enjoyed your comments to Ami earlier.. apni cheeze idhar udhar chorne ki adat.. uff..

loved the begining with all the dupataa scenes...her dupattas are so flirty with ASR, never wantign to let him go, and esp that first scene where he thinks she has gone to lucknow...lol i remember joking all thos dupattas are symbols of phangurls 😆...i'm the one that sticks to his face like magnet😃

Like i said never heard the song but its really lovely, nice choise Soha!

I seem to agree with all of you...esp with Indu in that last bit about how Sanaya made the OTT nonsense barable. but just to think all the opportunities they lost at making her a well rounded character. The gutsy/clutsy girl i fell in love with practically vanished...and esp by the Sheetal track

I was so ready to give up on this show and honely Barun quitting didn't come as a surprise. I was hoping the makers would just end it if they couldn't continue with dignity, what was surprising is that Sanaya was actually really mad at the fans for ending the show. She wanted to keep going with Khushi. I know she was looking as it from a working actor's perspective and she felt for all the ppl that would be without a job, but at the same time if its messing with your character, dont' know how as an actor you can take it.

so sad na, in the earlier episodes all we talked about was how perfect it all was but now i feel frustrations all around...speaks volumes of how they let the show suffer...also on how a 5 days a week show's quality can suffer. if only they would go to weekly shows, it would make for a much better product.

Sometimes silence speaks volumes, especially when Asr Khushi are together; their eyes, their body language, their gesture speak superfluous and silence that encompasses them.

so insightful is your thought madamji.

I also loved and agreed what you said about 292.

IPK had so many flaws, but still it's indelible, just because of such subtle episodes, where the whole team including the cast and crews did out standing contribution.
