I know you would want to just not kill but butcher me for this.. but absence of the lead actor does impair the interest of the creatives. They were not doing their best obviously to cover up and there was no one writing, no one directing but it was on for a nose dive but I can not entirely blame them either. This man IS the heart of this show. And he carried it with aplomb too till then. It is a love story and needs two hands to clap.I thoroughly enjoyed Khushi's emotions for couple of episodes. But why she became Anjali all of a sudden, openly crying with Anjali and nani? Is she the girl who thumped on ASR's chest and asked him some REAL questions? Would Khushi jeopardize Arnavji's life just for the heck of $20K? She could cry with naniji for arnavji and make sugar free jalebis but couldn't take money from her?? Cant say enough how implausible it looked a girl trying to save her beloved all by herself. I know there is a need to drag the track, but what fans did post Remarriage, giving up that is, makers already did by this time..
honestly, indu,
i have factored in the lead actor missing... but even that does not justify what is coming at us. as creative people you are often asked to work with handicaps... of all sorts. in most long running shows leads take breaks, in ekta shows i believe it happens regularly. here, the actor was available for shoot sporadically. and every time he was here, he gave it his utmost.
and because barun went away, they wrote prithvi detective the way they did... or masala mama... or forget the story, the level of direction, of pace, everything... only because lead went away for a while?
i believe there was more to this. some chaos behind the scenes. and yet, i know this was not right, nothing justifies this. the writing had started losing its way soon after temple wedding... but now i am seeing pretty bad direction, really like rookies are doing the whole thing.
this was supposed to be khushi and asr's story, had khushi not been around, would we have seen such a mess?
and what's this about wanting to harm you? nahiiin, we are ramanchi buddies... you call him devastatingly suave, hollywoodish... you mope for them as much as i do... we have haq to scream and say what we believe.
