Aamir Khan's team says they are figuring out as 25 IPS officers visits actor’s residence

Aamir Khan who recently shined in Sitaare Zameen Par, is making headlines again. A video showing police vehicles exiting his home has surfaced, prompting online speculation. Fans are curious about the reason behind this unexpected visit, leading to widespread discussion and conjecture across social media platforms.

Approximately 25 IPS officers reportedly visited Aamir Khan's Bandra residence. Although a report indicated a meeting, there's been no official confirmation from Khan's team or the officials. The visuals have, however, caused concern among fans. Aamir Khan’s team told News18, "We are still figuring out with Aamir," unsure of the visit's purpose.

Aamir Khan is set to be a Chief Guest at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) 2025, running from August 14-24. The 16th edition will feature a special retrospective celebrating his contributions to Indian cinema, highlighted by a spotlight on his latest film, Sitaare Zameen Par.

Speaking about being a part of the IFFM 2025 as the Chief Guest, Aamir said in a statement, “I’m humbled and excited to be a part of the Melbourne Indian Film Festival. It’s a festival that truly honours the spirit of Indian cinema in all of its diversity and riches. I’m excited to interact with audiences, share some of my most valued work, and participate in discussions that honour the power of film. I am eager to share my journey with Melbourne and shed light on the stories that matter."

Sitaare Zameen Par, directed by RS Prasanna and starring Genelia D’Souza, earned approximately Rs 165 crore net in India within a month of its release. Aamir Khan's upcoming project is a biopic directed by Rajkumar Hirani, based on the life of Dadasaheb Phalke, the father of Indian cinema.
