the integrity with which these two actors did their roles even while everything went crazy was something else. and my gratitude and wonder remains intact.

what was done to khushi was unthinkable. and while yes her clothes and plait didn't make her... they said things about her... had they taken it all away for a good reason and let her remain who she was inside... no problem. but why was she played with so much? why? i still don't get it at all. even her age was something else? i sometimes think of this writer or writers... why bother to create her at all if you were not going to fight like mad for her?

to some extent, and despite what even barun and sanaya might say, the two characters were created by the two actors. ved raj in an interview clearly said, humour was never part of initial story, when they realised these two can pull it off so well, it was introduced. essential part of the asr khushi thing, wouldn't you say? one of the major ingredients of that khushi asr thing?

and really this was abs romance humour, the sexiness got accentuated by it, not reduced. was thinking of cary grant and audrey hepburn in charade just now... that romance comedy thing... classic matinee of the early years... mother all thrilled at the very mention of mr grant, ma in law too...

and why do i think of charade and so many such and other things while watching asr khushi? these two keep bringing beauty to me. keep me feeling the sparkle.

really how anyone could mess around with such a thing... i am shaking my head and giving thin smile.

Instead this couple stood below facing each other.. Anger blazing... Full length shot.. Feet apart and body arched forward.. Maybe the balcony overlooked a bridge or was it a temple... Was the man in a white shirt and woman in blue? Hard to recollect really... I think there was ring dazzling as the setting sun reflected on it.. Oh wait that was a torn piece of cloth around her finger.. Woman had A lovely way with words and man seemed perfectly smitten by her. Indi di kya wo aap thi?

Will run and see charade. In my growing years, i was never a romance watching/reading type...so knowledge iss genre ki limited hai, kaafi. Gave me allergies those days, just the thought of love isstories. Major self- protection mechanism, i see in retrospect. I knew if i fall, i'll fall too badly. Couldn't afford it, hum sochat rahi. Stories one creates in one's heads. Anyway, out of curiosity read some mills and boons...and for phamily-harmony sake, ventured into few movies of pyaar vyaar, yash chopra or srk type, every diwali season. Raved and ranted each time on the car ride home...oh this was such crap, i'd protest, so lame, so stooopid😆... never could get a word in edge ways, the poor aunties and sisters and cousins, they had to bear it all!
Aur ab dekho ji. Mentaliya bairi ho gaye humaar😆... have also now returned to some of those movies i dissed... And i see what works...and get emotional too sometimes...baat hai kuchh na kuchh. And not isskared of "falling" anymore so that helps too 😳.

PS: Went looking on aunty googles and realized charade is also suspense thriller!!! Thrilled at the prospect!!!! My thing that be 😊
