with shyam too there was no adherence to original character sketch... he was often used to take story forward... as with being the instrument that would bring la home, which was fine because it kind of was what the son in law trying to curry favour might do... find a solution acceptable to all... he also was a lawyer with that penchant for convolution and a crooked kind of sharpness... it was rather smooth and interesting. his look with the accent on decent middle classness was lovely.

now suddenly long hair, beard, weight, where is that "shudh" thing of shyam's that made him truly creepy and believable. it's almost like achhi bahu wearing short skirt all of a sudden. 😆 or the worst night mare of hindi serials, achhi bahu suddenly spwaking in englissiya.

firstly, these are the fourth and fifth episodes i think of khushi looking consistently constantly sad and forlorn and droopy... tiring to watch. and not exactly khushi. yes, there was the jalebi making and the soliloquy of 254. but that was all. and a dream a little before that. otherwise, the same expression practically right through. sad... really, because i found it difficult to watch ipk. very difficult.

even the one with rocky's first appearance was better in a way. it did not have shyam minus clothes. what crazy tack was this? it was sharp to the extent it made one go "ow"; and close ones eyes.

khushi stood there saying many things?

how about leaving the room. exactly..and am nodding my head violently.. and why did she have the dal? He is sans proper clothing why is she even standing there?

not an option?

like that evening on the terrace... the long conversation with a married man who has long stalked and harassed you, yet, you insist on finishing the conversation... here too.

why, she was more spirited and fiery when she met the horrid mr raizada the first time. she made every attempt to leave. here she stood and kept telling shyam to go, knowing full well by now his penchant for melodrama...

and who wrote that shyam bit? what was the purpose? the same leching and insinuating and crazy making of khushi could have been done without the village belle like going for bath sequence methinks. or maybe they should have given him a little pitcher to fill water. really, so he skulked in her room, waiting for her to appear so he could show her his biceps and triceps and get her on a sensual high? i mean really what was the reason for this bilious scene? 😆😲 I can't decide on one expression here. And really they always handled Khushi and Arnav's closeness with so much sensorship and then just threw in this weird Shyam. I shudder to even think of him in that state in her room. Maybe the villain is exempt from rules.

he speaks of her angry eyes turning him on. ok, i thought of the angry eyes that do actually turn her on...if that was the writer's intention, a smooth reminder of the gussa man... i am okay with with those few words. hmm I hardly doubt that was the intention, but who are we to know. Maybe some person being forced to do somethings he found senseless wrote in a secret intelligent connection with the missing angry man.

but khushi's eyes would have grown stormy and more without shyam's off shoulder look.

another reminder of the man in his cousin stealing his stance and word. uff akash said, "enough!" bhen? bhat? I misses..

how terribly wrong it sounded coming from him.

and how the heart leaped at a memory.

two episodes and more went showing several strangers with as many phones talking about mr r not reaching london.

were these all hints of the phonecall on the way? finally when you are tired of the many phonecalls will come the one true phonecall.

ah, something spiritual surely there.

well, since i can't get my passport and visa to london in a day, and several weeks of outsourcing and human bungling must be factored in, i better shut up and recede to my corner, hurt. whether an actor is present or not, the viewer always is...might have been great if makers considered this person. the actor gave notice and left, the creators left it seemed without even bothering to tell me. 😕

so yes, kidnap gave us some fantastic and unbelievable moments.

but always when the one who had taken a little time off was there.

makes me wonder about the level of talent and commitment of the writers and other creatives...


Indi di I felt the exact same way. Knew I would't be able to make it interesting like you managed to do so well so skipped writing it. My review would most probably have had a whining tone to it. I just felt sad, grumpy, bored. I do watch for Khushi Arnav, but I enjoyed the other actors also. If only the story was meaningful and fresh with the rest of the cast. Instead it is completely uninspired writing where others are involved. If the creators knew their main attraction is gone they should have been ready with more quality distractions to keep the viewer engaged. When I watched these two episodes I remembered why I skipped these on my first watch. Reading your review sort of gave me an outlet to vent the frustration. Thank you.

bhen? bhat? I misses..

hyuk hyuk, i giggled madly when i read that... ok rhea bitiya, now you musting goings backs agains to bhatch. 😆 our newly minted very commanding, stubbled and muscled akash bitwa said the asr copyright word, and what majal trying to catch the expression too, to his wife when she kept shushing baliya about divulging the truth to akash.

i was bored angry irritated beyond belief, but thought might as well write something... you know i obsessively try to write every episode... no idea why.

now that we shall not have much to say for about a month or two, maybe i should really start doing the ones i missed earlier. so good, all of them. i was watching a bit of the akash payal love days, hard to imagine, the same writers wrote these pointless ones.

yeah, why did she hand around with the dal thing? i get it that he knows her protector is away, he might even finish him off, but then shouldn't he be trying to woo her instead of this desi raunchy pukeworthy stuff? if he sent her a bouquet of red roses it would be just as obscene and perhaps more effective and more threatening, sickening in feel, more true to character.

Apparently thanks to how much attention am paying to these episodes I even missed noticing when they showed Aman. or atleast am guessing that man who called Khushi was Aman, right? Since Aakash mentioned Aman in 258 and Khushi said he called her.

About Shyam.. hi five.. Why is he not trying to be nice to her?

For your reviews.. humein farak padta hai lots.. I even had a great 😳 suggestion which you ignored.. ( imagine ruthi hui Rhea face.. which is very cute) .. For the remaining episodes you should write one per month or per movie before his movie launch as a lucky charm for him.. And I recollect you started episode 1 , didn't complete? Though can't complain in a way its like keeping your favourite food in your plate till last.. can keep looking forward to your take on those episodes..

..."agar aap aise chale jayengey tou hum saans hi nahin..."[I won't be able to breath in your absence]...Arnav who was trapped in this all along is stunned seeing his Khushi in the same vortex but he couldn't handle it again as always and left her but their connection has reached to the next level.The level of intensity where he was since from the beginning is reaching to her core after him cupping her face and pleading to free him from all the burden he's been carrying since that dreadful night screaming in his deep love ,"Khushi mujhe batana Zaroori nahin samjha"[U didn't feel the NEED to tell me] ...finding out the truth of his pain and being that reason ,finding out that he is the Shaitan in her Rajkumar's visage to jolt her up from her slumber, an emergence of an inamorata has taken that shape, a shape of DURGA Ma, who fights for her loved ones by remaining alert to vanquish all eyes who even think to pry on em...Khushi ,Buaji's "Titliya" is transforming into "Parmeshwari"... very nice observation.

Just like Arnav , he is going to be "NandKishore" as Buaji said welcoming Arnav as a damad in GH "Nandkishore aye gaye..."...

Pause here: Babli is being locked by herself in the closet ...Beautiful as Khushi's childish acts and fantasy is getting locked here and an inamorata has been emerged behind that dark closet as Naniji said"Kahan chupna hai aur Kahan nahi"...as she will be facing reality...from now on She will be having some one always in her ways...tum har kaan akaile nahin kar sakti ...is ending here also.

Connection of hearts happened the day she landed in his arms yet confession occurred with awareness on Holi but Khushi was totally in inebriated form to accept that as compared to Arnav. Diwali night she surrendered to her love first time and then got crushed in between those gripping feelings . She had let her emotions get under the blanket of hibernation even after the realization of her true feelings for him especially after the terrace night. She got shattered in this delusional ocean of Love as Arnav's attitude and actions had changed her perception for him as her trust over him did shake it's walls. But Khushi was totally unaware of Arnav's feelings and the motives behind these acts . The realization is seeping in that the man who she thought of a Rakshus without feelings is the man who really loved her and now hated her for that reason. She was responsible for this Hate and misunderstanding in between them and knows how much he is in pain because of her..." aur humari wajha se aapka Dukh aur badh raha hai...[your pain is increasing because of me]...and that is ripping her inside out as a guilt... "ek baar humari baat sun lete to...jaana zaruri tha kya..." [what could go wrong if he heard me once , it was necessary to go right now]...She indeed is floating in the ocean of deep guilt and Love.


The rise of inamorata takes charge of keeping her knotted Love to be strong , by making Arnav aware of her intensions..."jab bandh liya hai tou" ...and declaring evil who is real owner of her HEART and rejecting his filthy intentions at the Airport delivering him real message"Arnav is may be out of sight but not out of mind or heart" but totally ignored the evil is one step ahead...Shyam has reached to the will but totally unaware of that this will has no meaning without keeping Arnav alive...Excellent CVs.👏

Small but very effective scenes , Anjali and Khushi's bond like two sisters which will be stronger than ever this period.Love the way she put her head in her lap, feeling him through his Di, through his part...his mehsoos... He accused her off destrying this Di's marriage while she is searching for him in the very same person...Second... A wife's natural instinct and her focal point is always her husband in his absence and that is absolutely done beautifully ,Quiet, empty , forlon room like her life without him...


PONDERING CONNECTED DOTS:Her seeing room empty was draining for her , just like he had his world empty when she wasn't talking to him and staying away from him.Today she is seeing him on recliner where he always used to close his day after enveloping her peaceful vision in his eyes.She remembers how they both fought for it to sleep.

Bali night, her Manglasutre was entangled in his shirt ,a dori , a Dhaga, which she never wanted but meant everything to her since then.She holds on to it in her clutch as instinctively , in her 6th sense every wife does when she feels her husband is in danger.At the same time she so wanted him to let her cry by holding him but he left without giving her a solace...she so wanted him to be there with her by her side.She remembers how he was sleeping holding her hand , she sleeps in pain clenching her fist till he calls her out...Khushi!!!

Her subconscious is reeling the moments of their connection in such a way that her guilt is taking over her conscious . She never knew of Arnav's collection of their connective objects and the reason of their captivity .That is coming to her now but her remorse is pulling her towards this maze strongly that she is losing her balance of mind but again their connection of hearts is shifting to soul connection .They are reaching to next level where their frame of reference doesn't need their presence any more and they can feel each other's distress and trouble from miles...She some how is feeling his distress and he is feeling hers and that's why he is calling her over and over and not letting her disappear in this DARK maze of guilt and vortex of despair. He is awakening her Love.

She had given him the mannat chaabi and left him but her blood meaning her heart brought him back to her , the Payal she left for him unintentionally yet his heart found the connection but he put on her to accept this connection , and the pearls which are scattered on the floor under her feet meaning she was misunderstanding the purity of his Heart and Love just like he was doing by throwing em away once.

These Pearls are emotions of all colors which they share with each other inside the ocean of their hearts.These are their deep wishes which they have for each other more than the depth of an ocean.These are the pains which they share by destiny and bring uproar of this ocean in their lives when they feel it.These are the eyes through which they acknowledge each other and dignify each other .These Pearls are the stars which are the reasons of their existence in this world and far from the distance smiling at them at their pure but delusional hearts.These are the desires which are longing ,yearning ,and embarking in their hearts and making them agitated to be with each other.These Pearls are the purity of love for each other which is so precious and flawless among them regardless of the presence of evil and darkness around em. These pearls today are screaming at her to accept all this just like once these were screaming at Arnav to accept her purity . These were floating around and being thrown but now Khushi is collecting em and Arnav will put em in one Dori...one chain...one thread.The beauty is Khushi never knew these were in his possession but today these are putting her in the ocean of guilt deeper than ever but at the same time bringing her his true feelings for her at the surface

Pondering connected dots:He threw these pearls in Episode 55 [I did in detail there] and today those are back right where these belong...just need him to string em.

Today in her dream she visualized how their "heart got connected together"... First pearls as this arrogant broke her abyss and entered her soul but she was bruised , Second, Mannat ki chaabi which unlocked their hearts by the forces of divinity and the Payal which Arnav put on her to make her HIS and above all " made promised to protect her" (as silver Payal has always symbolized keeping away the negative forces)as I explained in Maha 57 .

So collectively, Khushi in her dream is getting lost in this maze with fear of losing him along with the the guilt of hurting him which is pulling her in the riddles but this also meant to connect Arnav's soul to her ..Arnav will help her to come out of this riddle and she will find her love , her Arnavji...and He will protect her and their relation from every evil . That loop is closed today which started from Epi 1st but the next loop of putting scattered pearls in one thread still needs time but Khushi will see a second sequence which shows her deepest desire for all of these pearls in one thread and Arnav will fulfill her dream.

Thinkable POINTS with Symbolisms:

Naniji also helped broken Khushi to understand Arnav and his painful world. She told her everything which can make her understand better as compared to Anjali... "Aur chup gaye ek bade se pateele ke bartan maan aur atak gaye, phir bartan ko kaatna pada" -[Brass symbolizes judgment upon adulterer , but also reprsents self repentance and self judgment ] as he will connect the dots to repent "mujhe aur khuch nahin chaiye Khushi..."[ I don't need anything else Khushi...] is his next destination.

Khushi's worries over Naniji's statement..."phir to Arnav ji ko bhi chot aayi hogi" [Arnav must be hurt too]...Yes in this whole repentance process he will suffer, he will take all "Chot" which he inflicted on Khushi...Naniji's "woh Chotey hain,chotey...chot ki khaatir nahi,murga banne ki khaatir roye "[ He is Chote, he cried for being chicken not for getting hurt] ...[Chicken , according to African beliefs ...guides souls and according to Chinese Zodiac a decision maker and Sharp while it also wards off evil and Lust]...Yes if Khushi will reveal this serpent , Arnav will decide to cut him off.

Naniji's next words are golden for Khushi to tie this whole thing up..."galti unki rahi...hamre chotey hai na agar woh kisi se pyaar kare hain aur unke liye kuch nahi kar sake to khudi kohi sazaa dene lagat hain...aise hi hain hamaare chotey"[ chote punishes himself if he is at fault and can't do anything for the person he loves the most]These words are tying up with Anjali's words,"Chote sab kuch baant sakte hai par apna dukh nahin..."[He can share everything but his sorrows and pain]

Khushi's fear, worries and his decision of going London now is going to hurt him but as Naani says "aise hi hain Chote"...[that's how he is] - if he realizes,that it is his mistake and if he sees he can't help the person he loves the most (Di ke laadley...murga khud hi ban gaye)... then he punishes himself , as for Anjali's sake he did punish himself that dreadful night and has to live with serpent. Now his soul has a burden as he has suspected and hurt Khushi so for this realization ,he'll punish himself...

Pondering connected dots:Buaji explained Arnav the "Chillies" Khushi's virtues and today Naniji did the same for Arnav to Khushi .

The sequence of fbs reel in front of her with true and honest picture of Arnav's actions "aur aap jo humain bachane keh liye khud ko chot de rahe thay..."[u were hurting yourself for saving me all along]...when , Guest House night he realized his mistake ,Rain night by giving her coat he made initiative to correct his actions of making her suffer, wounded wrist scene ...realization of her pain which in return hurting him all along ,the bandage scene ,action towards correcting his mistakes by healing her wound and the last one, leaving the hands at the airport shows the guilt has shifted the anger and hate as he is leaving with the knowledge of his wrong actions of hurting and crushing Khushi...

that's why..."Khushi mein ne tumhain hurt kya ...mein khud ko khabi maaf nahin kar paoonga" ..[Khushi I hurt you and I can't forgive myself ever for that]...He can't forgive himself what he inflicted upon her all this time and then he will emerge as a true protector of her dreams...The protective connection of heart to soul has completed and locked today and now it's the time to just embrace it and that will complete it's coarse during Telepathy.

Symbolism and connection: 3 pm, 8 hrs flight, 8+3=11 as 11 possesses the power of intuition which will be shown through Khushi's fears and acts for her Arnavji...

your delve into the meaning and symbols absorbing as usual. what yo say is true, this is the next level of relationship reached, no need to be in the same space to feel each other, be each others.

enjoyed all that you read in the pearls, their crucial nature in this story, they are the one symbol that is sufficient and complete in itself.

the nani ji explaining the nature of her beloved grandson, while i really liked jayshree t doing nani here. somehow the story was not told well i felt... the whole peetal ka bartan thing felt redundant, a bit overdone. had we had a track where he does hurt himself when he realises let's say, maybe... khushi's past was indeed mingled with his and she faced great loss thanks to his family, then might have had relevance. this thread was lost as story moved.

but i did like that sense of premonition settling in at this point and khushi slowly becoming lover, and the woman who will not give up...

liked your parameswari reference... a clear change in khushi's persona is being hinted at... a growing up of sorts.

That in pink I have been wondering the same thing. He is outright even mean to Khushi these days I feel. And very rude. Hardly cares to appear even remotely nice in front of her or to her.

When he lived in Gupta house and Khushi came worried from office he did try and be nice to her. Sure it was for his own ulterior motive, but then we do try and appear at our best behaviour specially at the onset of the relationship so that the person we like likes us back. There were multiple times he managed to calm her down or just back off and try and convey he is around if she needs him. the intentions have always been 'ashudh' like Kizh mentioned, still atleast he acted nice in front of her. Of course external appearance wise he was completely taken in by her. Now she hardly affects him at all.

Nani and ASR both are shrewd and good judge of character as far as I can tell. And he had them hoodwinked for three or more years. Actually he did give sensible advice quite often in those early episodes. With Lavanya I never understood quite why he stepped up and helped out. And now they have blown him out of proportion. No reason given why he is this way except one which could be plausible... That once you start indulging the evil in you it tends to take over.

Our whole society is strange in a way.. The things we can't talk out loud are things that our mind focuses on the most.

Shyam was really interesting in the beginning. And he cared about khushi. Remember couple of scenes. One on the red sari day, when she calls up home and shyam picks up the phone and immediately figures out that she's not fine. Another after the sholay suicide scene reprisal she's sitting outside alone and he comes with tea and knows that she's troubled, inspite of the usual chirpy act inside. She tells him how HE(he doesn't require naming!!!) had thrown her out of the car in the middle of nowhere and left.
Like Indi di says we're a hypocritical society and it's so true what you say that we tend to focus on stuff that we can't talk about. I better stop here!

a tight brief, which doesn't give you everything you want often produces the best of things. it creates necessity... the thing that stokes the thinking, the imagination and gives birth to something new, beautiful. a thing born to serve a purpose but sometimes far exceeding its need it becomes a want... a desire... like this enchanting set piece in the middle of the everyday, the ordinary, in an episode of a serial.

had barun not gone away for a bit. had there not been panic about how to keep the show going with the hero not around. had there not been a need to keep the love story alive. had there been no hair tearing about the famous chemistry gone missing. had there not been heads wondering if they'd roll in case trp went down.

I never liked the Shyam Fiasco other wise Khushi did really good bonding with Mamiji and NK and that was my attention but creep and his creeping ways really did bother me.

but there had been all of that. and show had to go on. writers had to create "tracks" that worked. their only key, the female lead... asr had already acknowledged to himself his feelings for khushi, but writers had still not worked out khushi's realisattion. i've heard ved raj mention this and how challenging it was to find the right moment and method for this.

hmmm, I think yes she did start , not vigorously but yes she did ...for me there is a huge change in her character by putting nonsense aside .

the hero is not there. he cannot be interacted with in the "real" world. perhaps that was the gate through which they neatly stepped into another space, a bit of surreality, the sphere of imagination. kidnap is drizzled with dreams, reveries, telepathy, spaces where the imagination goes and claims real estate... beyond the restrictions and barriers of the three dimensions. in a thought world, sometimes far more potent than the "things" world.

That is my catch , as this is the time where they both are going to cross all barriers..of love

two episodes back khushi had dreamed of him and had a lover's premonition. she ran frantically in search of the man she loved, becoming his woman while he was far away. maybe he heard her? maybe he called her?

today something inanimate yet always a part of her emotions, a sign of her in fact, a little orange swirl, crunchy outside, soft and sweet inside, her jalebi, it took her straight to him and her longing, her memory, her first declaration of love... she made it to herself. because it was she who needed to know it maybe, before she could tell anyone else.

and perhaps the most lovely and enduring and insightful soliloquy i have ever heard in a serial, i got to hear... the first time, i remember feeling dumbstruck, how beautiful sanaya's voice, the pace, the afternoon light, the tumble of memories, the exquisite words one leading to the next and then the talking to hawaein. just a touch of sixties' filminess, and a forlorn, filmi girl's tete a tete with an emotion, in her way. not cutesy, more romantic heroine in feel.

Her emptiness is killing her, she will confess to Arnav later...how can she not bear to be quiet for 5 min because world seems dead to her and that is what she is feeling now.

she had said baat aapki hai to him at the airport but without pondering as to why, it had come rushing out of her when she could find no way of convincing him. but today she entered that feeling.

the realisation is massive, its language had to be different from the chal khushi chal sort of inner chats she has. the story of asr and khushi started on a strange evening, in these months they have moved from the first meeting, always significant in a major love saga, through many layers to the heart level. to dhadkan, to saans. but the story continues deeper... maybe to soul, to our astral being, to an aspect of the human beyond the material. and that is possible only in a different space. in a different metre. in a different rhythm.

She is where she was the day she made Jalabis the last time...before Kheer scene and then in her office Dabba service but we didn't see that she just tells Arnav you can eat sugar free Jalaibi and enjoy lunch...hum aapki tarah nahin hain and today she made Jalaibi because it was bothering her that she has accused him off a lot for what he wasn't...

khushi is missing asr constantly and very badly, it's wearing her down. she feels distracted. the loss of the papers worries her further. she wants him back... but he is not there.

after a long time we see her making her jalebis. you almost feel relief for her. she is trying not to think of him... the memory of that beautful first meeting comes by... and then the dreadful last one.

"kuch toh kahin galat hai..." something is wrong somewhere... something is not adding up... why would he message her and not di... an uncanny sense of mishap, she worries.


the mountains of jalebi reach the table. once way back she had been worried and made "arnav" jalebi... that was then, the still light and fun filled days of ipk with its entrancing and hot nok jhoks. but now the jalebis will take us to another world... she has made the whole lot with less sugar for her sugar free man. he is not here.

naturally a bit of leg pulling ensues, and the girl who can handle such things quite easily, just can't take it and runs away to her room... where she feels his presence and his absence both

in nani's words we are told that she is in a different mind state... her memories bother her... unhen chhotey ki yaad satawat hai.


and khushi runs to her room, locks the door, weeps remembering the man she had fed jalebi to one day... her mate, whom she did hate. she goes to the cupboard and something catches something, next thing, pearls are dropping and tuhi bata mere maula fades in...


this nudging of emotion, memory by inanimate objects was always interesting in ipk. how adept her dupatta at talking to him, reaching him. now it's pearls and jalebi that talk to her, guide her to her feelings.

In Arnav case the curtain were reminding him her duppatta , her essence

that very first time, he'd snapped the dori, she recalls.

kuch rishte ajeeb hi dor mein bandhe hote hai...

some relationships are tied with the strangest of threads... starts the soliloquy in sanaya's impeccable, strong yet rich with emotion delivery. yes, the snapping of dori was actually the tying of a thread... which brought them together instead of tearing them asunder. ajeeb it was... strange... as things in life often are.

takrar se shuru hotey hain... starts with a clash. he slaps money into her palm and turns away with a sardonic smile, amused she'd dared to tell asr that she'd pay for something...😃

with every line the memories pour and drench... in the guest house he slams her against a drum, in the rain he comes running and saves her.

some relationships are tied by a strange string

the memories touch points of pain and connection, he is pulling her, he is dragging her into the temple, he is marrying her... and as she droops slowly, staring at the poolside where so much has transpired, where the winds possibly know him so she chats with them... this ethereal journey to the land of imagination unfolds
Love that thought

the four layers of: sanaya, her voice, tuhi bata, flashbacks and yes that emptiness, worked so well to paint an evocative canvas.

shyam and the daal sequence mirrored that lovely asr eating hot daal just to show her scene. now shyam in a distorted reflection of it. disgusting. was there really any need to up the lascivious lechery aspect appealing to our sense of the sordid because they feared the appeal to our yearning for romance would be affected during this time. I felt so indignant they used a same memory. And I did feel Khushi's reaction to the whole thing is never shown strong enough. Why did she have to eat the daal before offering it to him. Was she challenging his feelings? I don't really understand.

Indi , what I felt strongly, Khushi still have to see his extreme side then she will shed her cloak of goodness and she does at the end of this kidnapping and my crunch starts when she brings him back in RM after that...oh that makes me come out of my shell just like Anjali steps in a married bro room with Kheer where he is having Bday of her wife so his sister won't feel bad and the same sister just comes in without a knock and cries i her room her chote is not his

well the brief was tight, sometimes, pretty bad creative ideas seem to come of it too.


there was a sweet scene at the beginning where khushi talks to shiv about keeping asr safe, etc., then requests him not to tell dm that she spoke to him... i mean dm might take it to heart and khushi can't afford that.. a need to call out to the deities ti protect hers, her saans is in this one after all.😃 cute though


i wrote this on facebook today, quite overwhelmed by the scene, thought i'd leave it here too.

ipk 3 anniversary month still on. i wanted to just sigh over the beautiful writing and delivery by a lovely inward sounding voice. i have no idea who actually wrote the "shayad yeh nadani" soliloquy of khushi's. what i do know is you rarely get such depth of thought and words on telly. not in a serial certainly. falling in love and romance are not arcane niche things, there's loads of writing on this... naturally to find what stands out is tough. so many things start sounding the same.here there was a brief to writer i think to establish love including the feeling of falling in it without using the word love... also to say it all using nafrat, the feeling clearly identified by the speaker. hate is akin to love, ha, mills and boon stuff, right... so how come these guys took it to this classic level. no hesitation, no yikes i will regret this later, but this is fantastic writing.

and sanaya irani, such flawless delivery. hits the insides makes you want to feel exactly those feelings. whoever directed her for this one... arshad k or lalit m... may jalebis rain on you all your life. Ameen

soliloquy brings back college and deep consternation... couldn't understand a thing most times. this one could understand and not understand too ha ha... too good.

I loved this epi for Sanaya and you have described so well there for her and her realization, TODAY she is seeping in the river of thoughts with wavy emotions of realizing that he was the real protector all along and her own goofiness took him away...Takrar se shuru ...which she did or he did but finished at his hate...so he was loving me all along...

He said her in Epi 203...sapno ki duniys se bahar niklo...today she is out there in that reality...

Initial Shyam was many layered. They kept him very interesting until the suspense about Anjali's husband was out.. but even then Shyam was nice with Khushi becos he was still hoping that she was/ or will ultimately be in love with him. But after arshi wedding, whether they knew or not he knew for sure that they were in love and she never had any feelings for him. Kind of jealousy and retart kicking in there after.. but how he turned bland melodramatic villain was beyond ridiculous to cringe worthy. I mean if he is as dark and carry out such a task with so much ease, he didn't have the need to be ambiguous or be guilty early on for cheating on his wife.. putting so many efforts to maintain his secret life.. that surreal realism of being caught in a truly unhappy marriage was totally lost..

He being the abductor was pedestrian beyond belief.. this is a guy who couldn't provide a roof over his wife's head .. shame on me as a viewer and shame on my asr.. for a self sponsored kidnap... if he needed to be packed off for 2 months theew are better ways..

Just like Arnav , he is going to be "NandKishore" as Buaji said welcoming Arnav as a damad in GH "Nandkishore aye gaye..."...


Pause here: Babli is being locked by herself in the closet ...Beautiful as Khushi's childish acts and fantasy is getting locked here and an inamorata has been emerged behind that dark closet as Naniji said"Kahan chupna hai aur Kahan nahi"...as she will be facing reality...from now on She will be having some one always in her ways...tum har kaan akaile nahin kar sakti ...is ending here also.

Connection of hearts happened the day she landed in his arms yet confession occurred with awareness on Holi but Khushi was totally in inebriated form to accept that as compared to Arnav. Diwali night she surrendered to her love first time and then got crushed in between those gripping feelings . She had let her emotions get under the blanket of hibernation even after the realization of her true feelings for him especially after the terrace night. She got shattered in this delusional ocean of Love as Arnav's attitude and actions had changed her perception for him as her trust over him did shake it's walls. But Khushi was totally unaware of Arnav's feelings and the motives behind these acts . The realization is seeping in that the man who she thought of a Rakshus without feelings is the man who really loved her and now hated her for that reason. She was responsible for this Hate and misunderstanding in between them and knows how much he is in pain because of her..." aur humari wajha se aapka Dukh aur badh raha hai...[your pain is increasing because of me]...and that is ripping her inside out as a guilt... "ek baar humari baat sun lete to...jaana zaruri tha kya..." [what could go wrong if he heard me once , it was necessary to go right now]...She indeed is floating in the ocean of deep guilt and Love.


The rise of inamorata takes charge of keeping her knotted Love to be strong , by making Arnav aware of her intensions..."jab bandh liya hai tou" ...and declaring evil who is real owner of her HEART and rejecting his filthy intentions at the Airport delivering him real message"Arnav is may be out of sight but not out of mind or heart" but totally ignored the evil is one step ahead...Shyam has reached to the will but totally unaware of that this will has no meaning without keeping Arnav alive...Excellent CVs.👏

Small but very effective scenes , Anjali and Khushi's bond like two sisters which will be stronger than ever this period.Love the way she put her head in her lap, feeling him through his Di, through his part...his mehsoos... He accused her off destrying this Di's marriage while she is searching for him in the very same person...Second... A wife's natural instinct and her focal point is always her husband in his absence and that is absolutely done beautifully ,Quiet, empty , forlon room like her life without him...


PONDERING CONNECTED DOTS:Her seeing room empty was draining for her , just like he had his world empty when she wasn't talking to him and staying away from him.Today she is seeing him on recliner where he always used to close his day after enveloping her peaceful vision in his eyes.She remembers how they both fought for it to sleep.

Bali night, her Manglasutre was entangled in his shirt ,a dori , a Dhaga, which she never wanted but meant everything to her since then.She holds on to it in her clutch as instinctively , in her 6th sense every wife does when she feels her husband is in danger.At the same time she so wanted him to let her cry by holding him but he left without giving her a solace...she so wanted him to be there with her by her side.She remembers how he was sleeping holding her hand , she sleeps in pain clenching her fist till he calls her out...Khushi!!!

Her subconscious is reeling the moments of their connection in such a way that her guilt is taking over her conscious . She never knew of Arnav's collection of their connective objects and the reason of their captivity .That is coming to her now but her remorse is pulling her towards this maze strongly that she is losing her balance of mind but again their connection of hearts is shifting to soul connection .They are reaching to next level where their frame of reference doesn't need their presence any more and they can feel each other's distress and trouble from miles...She some how is feeling his distress and he is feeling hers and that's why he is calling her over and over and not letting her disappear in this DARK maze of guilt and vortex of despair. He is awakening her Love.

She had given him the mannat chaabi and left him but her blood meaning her heart brought him back to her , the Payal she left for him unintentionally yet his heart found the connection but he put on her to accept this connection , and the pearls which are scattered on the floor under her feet meaning she was misunderstanding the purity of his Heart and Love just like he was doing by throwing em away once.

These Pearls are emotions of all colors which they share with each other inside the ocean of their hearts.These are their deep wishes which they have for each other more than the depth of an ocean.These are the pains which they share by destiny and bring uproar of this ocean in their lives when they feel it.These are the eyes through which they acknowledge each other and dignify each other .These Pearls are the stars which are the reasons of their existence in this world and far from the distance smiling at them at their pure but delusional hearts.These are the desires which are longing ,yearning ,and embarking in their hearts and making them agitated to be with each other.These Pearls are the purity of love for each other which is so precious and flawless among them regardless of the presence of evil and darkness around em. These pearls today are screaming at her to accept all this just like once these were screaming at Arnav to accept her purity . These were floating around and being thrown but now Khushi is collecting em and Arnav will put em in one Dori...one chain...one thread.The beauty is Khushi never knew these were in his possession but today these are putting her in the ocean of guilt deeper than ever but at the same time bringing her his true feelings for her at the surface

Pondering connected dots:He threw these pearls in Episode 55 [I did in detail there] and today those are back right where these belong...just need him to string em.

Today in her dream she visualized how their "heart got connected together"... First pearls as this arrogant broke her abyss and entered her soul but she was bruised , Second, Mannat ki chaabi which unlocked their hearts by the forces of divinity and the Payal which Arnav put on her to make her HIS and above all " made promised to protect her" (as silver Payal has always symbolized keeping away the negative forces)as I explained in Maha 57 .

So collectively, Khushi in her dream is getting lost in this maze with fear of losing him along with the the guilt of hurting him which is pulling her in the riddles but this also meant to connect Arnav's soul to her ..Arnav will help her to come out of this riddle and she will find her love , her Arnavji...and He will protect her and their relation from every evil . That loop is closed today which started from Epi 1st but the next loop of putting scattered pearls in one thread still needs time but Khushi will see a second sequence which shows her deepest desire for all of these pearls in one thread and Arnav will fulfill her dream.

Thinkable POINTS with Symbolisms:

Naniji also helped broken Khushi to understand Arnav and his painful world. She told her everything which can make her understand better as compared to Anjali... "Aur chup gaye ek bade se pateele ke bartan maan aur atak gaye, phir bartan ko kaatna pada" -[Brass symbolizes judgment upon adulterer , but also reprsents self repentance and self judgment ] as he will connect the dots to repent "mujhe aur khuch nahin chaiye Khushi..."[ I don't need anything else Khushi...] is his next destination.

Khushi's worries over Naniji's statement..."phir to Arnav ji ko bhi chot aayi hogi" [Arnav must be hurt too]...Yes in this whole repentance process he will suffer, he will take all "Chot" which he inflicted on Khushi...Naniji's "woh Chotey hain,chotey...chot ki khaatir nahi,murga banne ki khaatir roye "[ He is Chote, he cried for being chicken not for getting hurt] ...[Chicken , according to African beliefs ...guides souls and according to Chinese Zodiac a decision maker and Sharp while it also wards off evil and Lust]...Yes if Khushi will reveal this serpent , Arnav will decide to cut him off.

Naniji's next words are golden for Khushi to tie this whole thing up..."galti unki rahi...hamre chotey hai na agar woh kisi se pyaar kare hain aur unke liye kuch nahi kar sake to khudi kohi sazaa dene lagat hain...aise hi hain hamaare chotey"[ chote punishes himself if he is at fault and can't do anything for the person he loves the most]These words are tying up with Anjali's words,"Chote sab kuch baant sakte hai par apna dukh nahin..."[He can share everything but his sorrows and pain]

Khushi's fear, worries and his decision of going London now is going to hurt him but as Naani says "aise hi hain Chote"...[that's how he is] - if he realizes,that it is his mistake and if he sees he can't help the person he loves the most (Di ke laadley...murga khud hi ban gaye)... then he punishes himself , as for Anjali's sake he did punish himself that dreadful night and has to live with serpent. Now his soul has a burden as he has suspected and hurt Khushi so for this realization ,he'll punish himself...

Pondering connected dots:Buaji explained Arnav the "Chillies" Khushi's virtues and today Naniji did the same for Arnav to Khushi .

The sequence of fbs reel in front of her with true and honest picture of Arnav's actions "aur aap jo humain bachane keh liye khud ko chot de rahe thay..."[u were hurting yourself for saving me all along]...when , Guest House night he realized his mistake ,Rain night by giving her coat he made initiative to correct his actions of making her suffer, wounded wrist scene ...realization of her pain which in return hurting him all along ,the bandage scene ,action towards correcting his mistakes by healing her wound and the last one, leaving the hands at the airport shows the guilt has shifted the anger and hate as he is leaving with the knowledge of his wrong actions of hurting and crushing Khushi...

that's why..."Khushi mein ne tumhain hurt kya ...mein khud ko khabi maaf nahin kar paoonga" ..[Khushi I hurt you and I can't forgive myself ever for that]...He can't forgive himself what he inflicted upon her all this time and then he will emerge as a true protector of her dreams...The protective connection of heart to soul has completed and locked today and now it's the time to just embrace it and that will complete it's coarse during Telepathy.

Symbolism and connection: 3 pm, 8 hrs flight, 8+3=11 as 11 possesses the power of intuition which will be shown through Khushi's fears and acts for her Arnavji...

The PEARL section is really compelling, I think these pure elements actually run around them all the time.These are the symbol of the purity of their love , essence of the wind circling around them all the time.

Loved the Permashwari concept and Babli in the closet , really nice concept and observation.
I am off bit annoyed with Naniji's story because I didn't see any link after that , why the pot talk or chicken thing.Kind a strange a bit and off track to me but Naniji did give her support when she needed the most.
