Awesome Poem Durga 👏👏👏 Every love story has dupatta scenes... But only Arshians can discuss, make posts on the journey of dupatta & write poems on it 😳😆

ArshiH - Di, that post was awesome... Don't know what it was, but I felt something seeing those brilliant edits esp white dupatta scene, cliff scene & almost SR 😭

Made me nostalgic 😔

Thank you Kate. 🤗 You liked the collage too! Just did a rush job there. Collecting the captures itself took so much time. There were so many moments I still wanted to capture, but couldn't. Yes, I am happy to do this for Faiqa. And she loved it too. 😳

Faiqa, this is for you 🤗 . Wanted to post this on your birthday, but didn't want to hurry and mess it up. So, just a little bit late. 😳

Dupatta

Sarsar karta hawa mein jaise mast magan ud jaaye

Piya ko dekh, sudh budh khoye, man gagan choo jaaye

Baar baar ye saraahe unko, aur kareeb le jaaye

Ek hi jhalak mein pehchane unko, albela, matwala dupatta

Jaate huye ko rokne ke liye, dhoondhe kayee bahaane

Kabhi file, kabhi ghadi ya aur koyi kadi, jis se bhi ho jakad jaaye

Gaadi jaise dost ho iska, baar baar isee se ulajh jaaye

Door na jaana piya se, kehta sharaarti, natkhat dupatta

Piya ke haath se sar par odhli, apna haq jataaye

Yehi hai jeevan sangini kehte, piya ke paas ud jaaye

Kabhi parda, kabhi saadi bankar piya ko yaad dilaye

Anchaahe vivaah mein bhi naache, sayana, prasanna dupatta

Prem ke gulaab khilne lagey, mausam rangbirangi ho jaaye

Na samshay, na sankoch, na koyi rok, haq se haath mein jaaye

Alhad premiyon ko paas laane ka saadhan ye ban jaaye

Sharm se jhuki palkon ko dekh mand mand muskaaye dupatta

Kavach yehi, raksha yehi, sammaan ka hai chinha yehi

Do premiyon ke beech mein judey, prem ka hai bandhan yehi

Apni sangini ke suraksha ka ban jaata hai vachan yehi

Iss prem kahani ka hai ek eham kirdaar ye dupatta

My most fab underlined.. My personal fan dupatta moment was the darga one some how.. may be becos of the pristine white color.. wish she wore that dress again..

Aww thanks Indu 🤗 . My shudh Hindi must be thanks to Ramayan and Mahabharat and ofcourse the Hindi news on DD and Vividh Bharati which I had made it a point to listen to daily, so that my language would improve and that would reflect in my Hindi exams at school. Guess, it is paying off big time. 😆

Oh, that white dupatta moment from the dargah scene was beautiful. Something in that scene. The dupatta has been dancing ever since. Lot of beautiful dresses she never wore again. Wonder why.
