This one thing was a magnet , a dori, a deep connection in between them which always kept them together.Never let them go away from each other.A red ,hot connection of Devi Ma ,every where as a reminder to captivate them with each others' thoughts in hate, love, irritation,frustration or whatever.

Loved what you said about dupatta being an eham kirdar/ important character of this lovestory!! The following dupatta scene is my all time favourite. I had also used it in a sense in The Broken Bed if you remember.

In her post I was so touched by what Faiqu said...Khushi got married wearing the same gold, pink and green dupatta combination that she had worn to Sheeshmahal, the first time she met ASR!

Thank you so much. All thanks to Faiqa because of whom I got words for my poem. Yes, I remember that dupatta moment in your story, that was a touching one. About Khushi's remarriage dress, I remember someone mention the same at that time in the forum, perhaps in DC itself. Faiqa brought that memory back by mentioning it. Thanks for the pics. 😊

Thanks Indi. I started with the simple words and as I went on all those words started pouring in my mind. I had to had to use them. Somehow, salvaged the poem from going into deep shudh Hindi mode. 😆 Oh, that dupatta, what a character it really has been.

Writing a poem on the dupatta had been there on my mind from a long time, since the Sunday episode in the store room. But, somehow was not finding the right words. Found them in your post and here is the result. 😃

There are many dupatta moments in the show, I could capture only a few. My favourites among all those amazing moments are

1. Diwali, when Khushi's saree gets stuck in the car, a desperate attempt by the dupatta, in the form of the pallu here, trying to stop Khushi from going away, trying hard to keep the reluctant lovers together.

2. The ladder one, whenever I see this, the line 'suhaag raat hai ghoonghat utha raha hoon main' comes to mind.They got married twice, but not once he did that ritual. So, this scene is special.

3. Remarriage, when he comes back and holds her dupatta, haq se. And also the one in jaa rahi ho scene. Both I love equally.

4. The poolside one during Payash marriage, who can forget that.

I think I should stop, I might end up describing every dupatta scene. 😆

Thanks for the gif above. That was such a touching gesture, wasn't it. I think my whole last para can be found in that one scene. 😳

Thanks Mehr. Yes, definitely a deep connection. Always in thoughts of each other, whatever that may be. Magnet, so true. I used that word in another poem. Thanks for reminding. 😃
