Somehow my recollection of the scene is different. He hardly cared what Lavanya did (especially during this scene). He was in such anguish that I doubt if it registered that lavanya kissed him😆

For some reason, lavanya doesn't irritate me as much as she used to before. may be because I know now that she is here for a short period of time😊

Yeah he does that. Lavanya does not irritate me but the way ASR tilted his head did irritate me. Ipoona and others, you have not seen this ?

About his possessiveness - I actually loved watching him like that.

Remember their fight after she got Shyam back into the house. He lashed out at her and asked her to go away. But the minute Shyam mentioned her name, he almost choked him to death warning him to refrain from even using her name from his filthy mouth.

I loved how he was possessive during mrs. India contest. How he told her that pati hone ke naate main chahunga ki tumhari kamar aadhi inch badhe. and the slight anger that she chooses to lose weight (chooses the contest over him). I somehow don't think he would have ever gotten over this kind of possessiveness. He was a very progressive guy and wanted his woman to be independent and all that. BUT he always wanted her to place him over anyone/anything else.

I do think he got over NK though with time. I think if it came to other men admiring her, he would want them to know that she is his and his alone😊 It is possessiveness for sure, but not sure if it really stems from insecurity.

Btw bidz, , I Agee with you that "ankhon me dekh kar" line was confusing. The way I interpreted it was,

Those, including Khushi, who looked into his eyes have always seen only love in them, but HE wouldn't know that his eyes are cheating him and disclosing what all is there in his heart. So since he uttered caustic words, he thought his eyes also reflected the same hence he said that what all his eyes said was not true.

The thing is he thought Khushi moved on becos she could n't read past his anger. But the fact is Khushi indeed DID see his love but was compelled for that engagement unlike him who took the decision himself deliberately to get engaged.

This is the first explanation that completely makes sense to me. i.e, he thinks his eyes do not show love, hence the statement. Thanks Horizon. I never could comprehend why he would say this since his eyes always conveyed his true feelings.

I have this remarkable talent of completely ignoring LA-ASR interaction, so never really paid attention to whether he tilted his head or not. Given the heartbreaking situation he was in, I could guess that he was perhaps as oblivious to LA as I was in that scene😆

Didn't know that when it came to Khushi, he would throw tantrums and try to be one up even in this heartbreaking condition. What a man!
