😊
First of all, I am simply delighted that two of the stories I voted for were by Mints and Sami- Love you both for your own unique writing styles.😃And please bear with me while I talk about them...😃
Sami- I love your sense of humour and your ability to make people laugh - I laughed aloud😆 reading The Language of Love...and that is why, I voted for yours as the best in the comedy genre in this contest...in my humble opinion, it simply is... 👍🏼Well written, no loopholes and really really funny. The simplicity of your title stood out for me...really the no-nonsense kind. 👏And yes, poetry is certainly the language of love...loved how you used it here and got everyone in the IPK family infected with the poetry madness...simple superb😆 Bankelal and Kamlesh Khabri indeed😆 Always wondered how Arnav would react if he actually met Bankelal- handsome and oh-so different from what he imagined him to be! Arnav's poem in the end was surely the icing on this particular cake!⭐️ (BTW, I hate paan!)😛
Mints: 👏What can I say...I simply loved your story! When I saw the title, Love is...I knew I would read it (For those who may not know-- Love is.. is a very famous cartoon strip by Kim Casali...really cute and adorable...u will see images printed on cards, mugs, souvenirs, its famous...the world over) Second- it brought to mind a movie "Love Actually" with two of my favorite actors, Colin Firth and Hugh Grant...and I am a sucker for Love...😳
And my third selection - As it Comes...by Areeba_Blossom- I haven't read any of her stories but will certainly read some...again your title - short and intriguing😊 (for me)...is what made me read it...I do not normally read tragedies but did go through all of them in this contest...the sense of hope, of moving past a big tragedy is what I liked most in this story. Also, I thought her story fit the tragedy quote really well...a couple who lose their child, I liked how you showed the natural emotions they would go through, her wihdrawal, his anger and frustration, the utter helplessness...yes, I did wonder what happened in those three years, how they overcame this, but the happiness in their future, made me happy too...Loved the reference to tulips and roses...nice touch!👍🏼
Congratulations to Dee and Ana for the special mentions.🥳
To all the writers who shared their stories - a big thank you...this definitely would have been a big challenge for you all...when one writes, words pour out and the restriction on length would have probably been the hardest to stick to...without losing the essence of the story, there is so much to be conveyed...👏
The judges --great efforts on your part, especially with time constraints and also having to maintain your sense of fairplay and ethics.👏👏👏
I would like to definitely mention LazyLeaves - the way you listed down your comments on each entry - wonderful...I could see the efforts that you have made to read each individual story and come up with constructive comments...yes I agree with you, I do wish some of them would be made into Short Stories...in fact, after reading your comments, I read the stories again...😊
Lastly- Manjari...thank you for this contest👏
Since you were the moderator it would have been tough on you too to coordinate everything, to follow-up, to ensure that evaluation and re-evaluation were done fairly. And then to ensure that results were delivered on time. 👏
to the readers...without whom, this contest could not have been completed👏👏👏
I do have one request, Manjari
Pls share the results... the scoresheets here?
As readers, we have voted openly for stories we liked and certainly would appreciate, if the scores were shared openly as well. It would make us all very happy to know how our selections fared.
Thanks
CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WINNERS👏

I am taking the initiative of answering this but If I get wrong somewhere, Manji could correct it. 😃
After getting my scorecard, I think.
For the most popular OS, only the member votes were considered. 'Price of Happiness' got most votes and so this is our 'Most Popular OS'.
For the Winner OS 2013, Member votes + Judges score were summed up and the highest scorer is our Winner OS.
The winner OS from each genre were decided by the judges only(I am not sure about this one)
And special mention were given to the OS which on overall got high score (member's vote+judges score)but not high enough to be a winner..
Similar was the procedure for top ten OSs.
The top ten highest scorer among 26 were listed.
That was all. 😊
P.S. (Manji please correct me if I am wrong at some portion)
