it's all your fault. 🤗

yes, seriously. 😆

i had this abs resistance to fan fiction... who wrote such things... etc., whatever. now i know who. still haven't understood why i write it... but seems to be the only way i work out something. no idea what though. have a feeling, had the show continued i would not get here...

but thanks, wiwy, you did irritate me enough to think about it... and then when i saw that death shoot visual something just broke free. your first chapter of the broken bed , then called climbing in love might have something to do with it too, brought its very bad influence, teehee. i am officially 13 again and skidding into my fantasy world.

glad you enjoyed... what would be the anniversary of such a night i must have thought, or even how would these two ever get past it. and this is the answer i got. something visceral and so true about the way he put on that mangalsutra and shoved the sindoor... about how they looked at each other... why doesn't anyone want to cast these two actors in a huge big movie. ha.

Such a beautiful poignant story...
Loved the way you bring out the inner turmoil both face- always, wanting to be with each other, at the same time, both are always aware of their responsibilities, towards their families...yet, somehow, always, with each other, even without being physically present.

That forced wedding in the temple was a shock- so many things that we as viewers wanted to be set right, if it ever could...but even in that sequence, something stood out..they belonged- to each other, always, however forced or unpleasant the circumstances were...
I loved how you depicted his thoughts then- his hatred towards her, his feelings of betrayal - yet deep underneath it all, a knowledge that she was his- only his, forever.

Loved how you used the Yamuna - a river in full spate, turbulent currents a metaphor for their feelings
Two months is indeed a long time to stay apart
And on this day...unforgettable to both,(and to us) they had to come together again - this time, though, with consent, and each wanting it badly.

Loved how he lets her cry- he will always have regrets - for what he did, all his life, not easy to forgive oneself, for a wrong committed - especially when the person wronged is his life, his soul
And Arnav Singh Raizada will probably be hardest on himself, unforgiving of his sin towards an innocent- even though she, of the beautiful, generous heart, will always forgive him, readily... For where is the joy in life, if one does not move on- if one does not let go of the past- it is indeed the ones we love the most, who also possess the power to hurt us the most.
Arnav will strive all his life to make up -a man who does nothing by half-measures- be it hate or be it love.

Loved how he returns on that day, fully knowing how she might've been feeling - since he carries the burden of guilt for making her feel that way. If only he could take the pain away, he would. If only he could turn back the clock, he would...if only...
loved how they know they need each other and the only way is to have her with him- so they leave - NY it is- ASR and his Khushi...
Thank you for giving us this story.

As I was reading it,it rained quite heavily. And I thought perfect timing!

Beautiful story,Indi! 👏

The description of the river & the rain was magical!
They can never stay away from each other, can they?
Two months toh bahut door ki baat hai, even 2 days of separation takes a toll on them! U depicted Khushi's feelings very aptly. And later on I loved her decision of moving to the US with him!
The best way to erase sad memories surrounding an incident/event is to build happier ones surrounding the same incident/event.
That is just what ArShi,especially Arnav did in this OS!
I had tears in my eyes when he came back!
The scenes that followed were the best part of this OS,according to me!
And loved it when Khushi said "Hum aate hain Yamunaji!"
All in all a superb gift to ArShi fans on the occassion of their first wedding anniversary! Thank u so much,Indi! 🤗

chitra,

wow, thank you for that. yes that man... magnificent, buig generous, does good does bad always takes responsibility.

and this girl whose world revolves around him as his around hers.

and that love.

have you ever heard shapmochan the disc? or read it? remember write in the beginning, indra is unhappy with hsi court musician for losing his concentration, being too immersed in his lover the court dancer?

he banishes them to earth and says, go live the life of mortals, meet again, shekhane dukha pabe dukha debe, aar shei,,, hobe prayashchitta and you'll meet again... words to that effect.

shekhane dukha pabe, dukha debe.

how many times i have thought of that looking at these two. in this pain giving and getting, if what you feel is indeed love, you'll find each other and true union.

somehow this wedding was always their real wedding to me. always. no matter how full of hurt and terror and suffocation it was.

he and she will accept it as they go along... and it will perhaps trigger more and more beauty things as a consequence... as it did here.

okay, after writing this story halfway, i realised this is around the time they had the remarriage... so yeah in a sense it was their anniversary indeed... again, why i chose anniversary, no clear idea... just came to me. i was looking for feelings that would come if they had to live away from each other for a while, and this is the story i got.

a yamuna flowing and lovely, a yamuna at times still and barren, a yamuna knowing its course no maps and gps system required... khushi was there somewhere, as was asr, and their love. thanks for liking.

smita,

🤗

i was not really conscious of the fact this was the first anniversary of remarriage. story pretty much came rushing at me as on blast from the ast we opened the wedding bells thread.

i absolutely love what you say in pink bold. that si it. what's done cannot be undone... but you can put good tings around it and make the experience less painful... even meaningful.

awww for those tears.

yes, those scenes were concentrated... asr and khsuhi wrote them. indi, just write what we say. if i interfered, he said... yeah... shut up, indi.

and how could khushi not call yamuna "yamuna ji," in her sanka way, and how could she not read the river's communication in th
e deep khushi way. she always knew he loved her desperately, even when he hated her. she was such a clever girl, i hate it when she is made to look silly or acchi bahu.

many thanks for reading and your comment.
and that rain... not all things are accidents you know... 😳
