Dhoka/ betrayl is difficult to accept at all times!😭 But this betrayl was maximised, it broke his soul for it came at a time when he had made up his mind to confess his feelings to her! A big decision for ASR who had no belief in these emotions! I would love you to add another para on that if you can D.

The strings broke, my heart broke

That pretty girl too betrayed

Heavy are my steps, heavy is my breath

I can see neither the path nor the destination

Just this sound echoes around

It was all a betrayal, nothing else

the words are perfect, the emotions are appropriate.

The most plausible is not only in hindi but you also can bring the expressions in english version too.

And Barun sure deserved all the awards for his brilliant performance.

Thanks for the lovely comment for both my poems. 😳 Oh, that terrace scene is always difficult to watch. The first time I was watching it, I was expecting a showdown and turned away but kept my ears open. Was surprised that he hadn't reacted. Only when I watched it again, I realised that he was in a state of shock, speechless.

Thanks Mehr. The pain he goes through is something which can't be described in words. Hope I get to reach at least close in the further poems. 😊

Thanks Sohara. I have been trying to make the translation as effective as it is in Hindi. Translations from and into any language never have the original flavour. So, it gives me a special joy when I do find proper words for the English version. 😊

As always beautiful. The last part in English, path, destination, echo, betrayal carries the same depth of meaning, music,flavor and pain as in Hindi. Agree with Sohara.
