@Durga Thank you so much for the translation to Episode 187 dear sweet friend! I really appreciation you putting your precious time and efforts! 🤗 Many many thanks to you!! If you don't mind, I might want to try my hand on putting those translations into the video if time permits! I'll credit you of course!

Cynthia, Kate,

The pleasure is all mine. Had fun doing this. See I even went on to make an edit. 😆 Do let me know if any other translation is required. Would love to do it again. 😊

Kate, sure you can. Some day I too would want to learn adding subtitles to a video. So much we get to learn here. 😊

i read about your coma days and the vision you had and somehow felt reassured about life... there is something more to it. isn't there? good for you, for battling and overcoming. lovely to see your rainbow out... hope it drives supi's clouds away.

banana as an upper? not bad... maybe that potassium and vitamins in it? yes, we are all khushi's and no one can hold us down.. sweet torture is the way to go. 😆

The most comforting words, Samin. You are truly a blessed soul. Hats off to your determination and positive attitude towards life. Thank you for sharing this with us. 😊

HI Indi,
can not imagine that someone would want to kill a pregnant lady. The reason I think there is so much hate now a days is because of us in many a times doing nothing to stop it. You know there is always safety in numbers. I am astounded when I see people trying to judge even now a days that this actions are jihad- and I would like to ask since when? You know I could not study when I saw all these people being killed because they went to a mall. And Fazila we can not take the blame of some in humans with warped sense of justice as entire humanity. If there was no humanity now in people then we would not have seen the incident and felt bad. I still have whole faith in humanity. The reason we do not see humanity is because we look at the wrong place for humanity. Also have justice system showing humanity to the wrong crowd. Let us see that judge of Indian supreme court was talking about humanity when he refused to give death penalty to the juvenile of the delhi rape case even though he was the most violent, and if he gets out when he is 18 maybe will be even more violent. So where is humanity there when you are showing humanity to a violent person and not the innocent victims. Do you think the victim's parents did not deserve humanity? We normal people on whom wrong has been done do not deserve humanity when that judge took the authority of releasing a dangerous animal among us?
And I really think we have developed a warped sense of what is humanity. Humanity and believe comes when we remove a glass from the floor thinking it would safe someone, when in the road you do not speed up because you may hurt someone, when walking you give way to the elderly, smile at everyone whether you know them or not, and when you see someone homeless feed them rather then thinking the reason why he is homeless.
I was just thinking about Ruhila and thinking- how painful her final moments were.

HOw very sad, been in my own bubble, had heard about the shooting and actually have two diff jijaji's who grew up in Kenya and also a friend who has roots there, so had read bits and pieces on facebook through them...but really so heartbreaking when you really think about the vicitims and the ones they left behind. I heard there were many kids also and to think one of our own IF sisters who had so much to look fwd to...everything so brutally snatched away. May all of their souls rest in peace.

Indi, i've felt like you are feeling esp in light of the all the horrific rapes in India...though recently i have not time to feeel sad for such things...if i did, don't think i would have any peace of mind. with all that said, its the good that we don't hear about that we must keep in mind. little acts of kindness, good karma that don't get published in any newpaper is what we should keep in mind. I remember when the Boston marathon bombings happened, there was video of people running towards the explosion to help...insaniyat/humanity is alive and well for sure. as far as the world improving in our lifetime is concerned, i have to ask was it ever without barbarics who killed innocents? in the name of religion..in the name of some other form of hatred, feel like it was always there. I could be wrong.

Samin, love all you said about humanity, really should trump any religion IMO...

read that Lata mangeskar sees no reason to celebrate her birthday b/c she has lost two loved ones this year and also b/c of things going on around the world...so sad that someone has to feel that way but what an great example of insaniyat.

Also, Shraad is goind on for Hindus right now, the one ritual our "athiest" ASR always performed for his mom during this time :) just want to wish peace to all the departed ones everywhere and may all those left behind also feel peace.

when i read an entry on fb by a friend of hers on IF this whole nairobi situation somehow became personal.

today, some more googling, and i find she was a popular, gutsy tv presenter, radio dj, during the cricket games that took barun to kenya she was very much a part of the scene. she is young and lovely.

and she was 6 months pregnant with her first child when she was shot and killed.

this morning i read of another IF member losing her life there.

i really have nothing to say... just a terrible sadness at the world we've created. i have lost my father to an unthinking person's need to kill because something he/she, people in a group, don't like; so think killing people will solve their problems.

it never does.

nor does the feeling within of the ones who lost ever go away. you touch insanity each time you visit that thought. i am wondering about ruhila's husband. a young man with a vibrant wife who had gone to work that morning. a normal day. much to look forward to... a first child. he was possibly getting all set to become a father.

IF has many drawbacks i hear, but here i met all of you... made many friends... you all matter somewhere... as did this girl i didn't know.

i have no idea whether this world will get even a tad better in my lifetime. the more we "advance" it seems the more we become less human, somehow terribly less.

thinking of ruhila... and people still dying there.

How mercilessly people kill so many lives 😡 Ruhila was carrying another life in her... It's very depressing... May all those souls RIP...
