4lions had no money invested in ipk... the money part was from the other 3 producers!! who were the risk bearers and thus the major profit holders too!!!

they earned enough to start a new show on their own!! QH is the first show solely produced by 4lions!! and disclaimer was put up on their forum 32.. sp was not even aware of the "story has run its course... " thingy!!

it was all about money.. the sooner, we understand all this.. the better it is for all of us..
we had our emotions invested.. not them

its been 6 months and enough said on this topic already!!
the shows closure was put on his head!
but now he is the one standing tall amongst all this!!

i dont wanna argue if he wanted to quit or not!! even if he quit.. can anybody tell me.. apart from arshi whom we love so much.. wast the makers making sure that the show turned into a no brainer???

so many lame tracks after tracks we waited patiently for it to get better!! which never happened !! our love for the show.. the bg score .. arshi and the characters made us watch it everyday sharp at 8pm... makers had lost interest!!

i am proud of barun

everybody does for money nobody is running charity, why there was zillion stuff to ph and sp why not a single petition to make barun stay 😕

well wats to debate abt it? he is everywhere... look online.. his number of fans has multiplied!! its been more than 6 -7 months that the show has ended but still he is on top.. and everyone knows how popular he is.. 😳 just bec a few ppl dont like him or blame him... as he said" u cant force ppl to like u " but they dont matter.. as there are many who love him..

Actually didn't want to make a post here, but still making. No offence to what is said by the TM who made this post, but the discussion was carried forward not in a healthy way and even though DT note is there (can't still agree with many things mentioned in that note), i cannot accept what is written here are all true and nobody tried to twist anything. Let it be like that.

4 lions are only creative producers and many knows this fact by now. I came to know that during the closure of the show and didn't know whether to believe this or not, but whatever it is that does not make any difference now. I want to know why many interpretations of what Barun said here. Everybody can hear what he is saying. I am not digging the past, but cannot complete my sentence without referring the past because earlier also this happened. Whenever he opened his mouth, there were speculations only rather than what he told. If one section believes there are more truth to be out, let it come out, wait till then and please don't go for "he said that, he meant this, etc." Wait patiently and see what comes out as truth.

@red...so please explain to us what those petitions were about? probably I missed a memo somewhere as I assumed it was about continuing ASR Khushi story with BOTH Barun and Sanaya playing the characters respectively...so I assumed the petitions had something to do with Barun Sobti staying...

@blue..it's all about perspective...sometimes when we focus too much on a person's physical deficiencies like oily skin et al... we tend to miss the boat about character.

Not up for any discussion or argument ...but still felt like saying... oh yes this man is standing Tall still with respectable silence.. He is standing tall as He preferred not to save his image instead being instrumental in saving other's image.. Even after disclaimer , he never expressed any ill feelings towards GEC or towards any person... I remember in one of interviews...he did ask people to watch SP shows.. even after all this.. Yes he stands tall coz I respect him for sticking to his stand... Saying same thing with calmness that he left show as he was unwell...Even if it meant repeating it 50 times.. Many people leave the show ..they dont owe explanations to their fans at all.. yet this man was scrutinised so much for his own career decision... as if he has done a great sin..yet he took it all positively ..it takes guts and lot of courage to face your criticism the way this man faces it.. And thus I respect HIM for his conduct .. !

all i wana say is thank u SP for the disclaimer😆
thanks for giving him all the credit of the success of the show..
this wil only help the man grow beyond all this..
my respects for barun for taking the disclaimer in a sporting way 😳

but plz don say tat barun din wana leave..
he did wana leave ( tats wat he says nd i believe him)nd he did it wid al the professionalism👏
man!! who gives a notice period of 8 months?

he gave it but sigh he did get a bitter exit
my respects for gul but she could ve handled it nicely..

zoha yo post is wonderful but some ppl here are still inferring it in a wrong way ( their POV )
even if der was somethin else which led to closure, ( which v can never know )
v cannot come to the conclusion tat barun din wana leave.. ( even he din say tat he din wana leave )
the man has kept saying he wanted to leave nd der was nothin wrong in it ..
it still amazes me tat ppl wana believe tat der were conspiracies..
it was a business decision taken by the PH nd the channel nd they tried to save their ass by blaming it on barun ...i do agree
but saying tat barun din wana leave, barun was forced is nothing but trying to act blind..
the man has kept saying tat he wanted to quit in feb ( which is nt at all wrong ) , but ppl still choose to believe tat he din wana leave is something tat i don understand

Arre wah discussion still going strong woh bhi people nicely agreeing to disagree.Well done Zoha and Riti😛.
To me he stands very tall because the same detractors who wrote him off back then with pathetic abuses and words are still hanging around following his every word and action. Goes to show somewhere his conduct post the closure has impressed them, why else would they follow him as keenly as his fans do.
I have no direct inside sources; i do not know if anyone had an agenda back then or has now; what i know is that for the first time Barun himself has said there is more to all this than meets the eye, more than what the general people know. That in itself makes me sit up and take notice and thank you Zoha for bringing this out.
Barun's brilliant portrayal of ASR made me a huge fan of the actor. But his simplicity, dignity and the strength of character displayed through the closure fiasco and beyond has made me a huge fan of the man himself. I am literally a fan for life (much to my hubby's annoyance) 😳
