I completely agree zoha even after 6 months ppl love him...i think what matter is just that. As Barun rightly said ppl who love him will understand him and it is not necessary that everyone should like him. I am happy to see he has loyal fans who stuck through all the mess that happened...in any case no one can deny Asr would not be the sensation he was without Barun...

tfs.. finally barun opened up for closure fiasco. during closure of d show i strongly believed that many more things were going which made d show closed nd nw i came to know d truth though not in details. bt i dont get one thing why everyone including barun nd sanaya was nt telling d truth at dat tym?? m not blaming anyone. i think sp forced them nt to say anything publicly. whatever happend is happened we cant change anything.. better we should stop this discussion abt closure fiasco coz none will get anything from it..

Thank you for making this post. One will not know the truth of the show closure but it was not handled well. Look at the smooth transition of a particular show on other channel. No one was made a scapegoat. Other serials changed their lead actor or actress and shows are retaining their TRP.

My two cents... At this point, the things that can be said about this topic have been exhausted. If we tried, we could churn up a thousand possibilities as to why SP pulled the plug on IPK. But I see no benefit in doing so. If that disclaimer had hampered Barun's career, then I would understand a reason for justice. But he and his fans stood firm to their ground and since then, he has emerged an even bigger star. So what's the use of picking at old wounds?

IMHO, I didn't and I won't ever believe any of the conspiracy theories. I will solely take faith in what Barun has said and I will respect the decisions he took from the beginning.

I was ticked off by 3 things in this entire fiasco:

1. The immaturity that 4lions displayed towards their craft. A story never runs it's course, it's creators let that happen.

2. NO Barun = NO IPK. My blood still boils at the thought of this andholan. Fans who took it upon themselves to "save" the show only ended up giving SP an easy scapegoat, Barun.

3. SP's disclaimer.

Now, I could easily vouch that if #2 hadn't happened, SP wouldn't have the credibility to put up that disclaimer. But what's done is done.

Barun emerged stronger, more dignified through it all and that's all that counts.

I blame ph only half cause how muchever notice bs has given i am sure gul almost had hearattack when bs put papers in feb not even a year into ipk land 😆 I think sp meddling with kidnap track to accomodate bs mamr leaves must have been anothet blow to her.

I adore this man with unkempt hair,as a person. It takes a lot in a man to keep his mouth shut when the entire world seems to blame you for a reason,when its no fault of yours.
And it takes every smidgen of a man's willpower to keep his feet grounded when the public shower love and adulation on you with open arms.

He stood out tall exceptionally apart from the stars I've seen to be humble enough in the above two instances.

A press conference wasn't called neither to clear his name and portray him as the victim when the disclaimer was put up nor was it called to take the credit of the show closure,and claim himself to be the oly reasonshow saw its light everyday as indicated by the disclaimer,a publicity stunt was so on the cards to parade around with pride declaring I made the biggest organization to eat back their own words of no actor is bigger than the character!!

Well, 6 months later if there's one person standing tall with his head held high in this mess has to be Barun Sobti-who stood silent when it mattered and took it all!! RESPECT!!

Ashwini, you could not have said it better. It really takes a lot to maintain a dignified silence amidst mud-slinging and chaos, especially when you see people rushing to arrange seemingly random coffee-sessions to ensure their image turn out to be squeaky clean.
