Guru Dutt and AB.. .. the romance and pathos to the anger.. from Mr and Mrs 55 to Mili! We all had our fav songs we wanted to be picturized on Arshi,... and some how can't recall how many times I have hummed to myself... "udhar tum haseen ho.. idhar dil jawah hain" when ever he was mesmerized by the beauty of his pagal but cute ladki starting on new year's day at GH to his much desire filled appreciative stare the day after Raakhi.."mere ghar me aayee hui hai bahar... kayamath hai phir bhi karoon intezaar".. so desperately wanted to hear those lines on ASR!

Dubbed ones take out the flavour from the shows/movies. That's why it took me sometime to start watching IPK Telugu, started from the first maha episode. But, now, I'm used to the voices, most of the time I know the Hindi dialogues, so they are in my mind when I'm watching in Telugu. Rumours of the show being stopped on Maa TV are there, could probably be true also. But, honestly, I don't know the real story. I've decided to watch it as long as they show it. And anyway, BFTP is here, so why worry.

About subscribing for the channel, it is your choice. If you can unsubscribe anytime later, then you may go for it. It really depends on the package you are having.

Thanks a lot for the input. I am a native Telugu speaker, but refrained from the dubbed version for the exact aforementioned reasons. I was not able to decide between the pleasure of having Arshi/ Sarun again in my living room to loosing the native flavor as even their names are changed. But as I said, now I am willing to make some compromises as for me Arshi magic was due to Barun and Sanaya's magnetic eyes, stellar performances, and Raju Singh's astounding BG score. And hopefully all of them should be intact in the dubbed version as it could inspire you to write only becos it is still able to invoke that magic hence I could safely put my fears aside.

Now I juggle between channels from Sony for Sanaya to Zee for Akshay to even SAB for Karan to get a glimpse of the "family"... but amidst all this my little one misses Arnav and asks me why he is not able to see Arnav when all the other faces are there. Now, how can I convince Barun to come on TV in some form for my 2 1/2 yr old!!! Anyway, the dubbed version seems to be the safest bet for now!

bangles have major cultural connotation in india. standing for suhagan, etc. i bet this bangle selling for someone you love is part of our collective memory, and so it fits in perfectly and gives a lot of emotional content in stories like these.
