payal and bua ji are counting money from their business..bua ji was wondering how much they spent, bua ji said that they spent more than what they made...if this keeps happening there will be huge problems. Khushi was outside and was looking at the stars, and then suddenly she sees a shooting star and she screams shooting star shooting star (of course in hindi) payal comes and khushi shows her the shooting star (seriously i never saw a shooting star like that). bua ji comes and asked what broken all frantically...and khushi said it was a shooting star...and all three guptas make a wish. All the way on the other side of town...anjali and arnav see the star...anjali asked arnav to make a wish and she put her hands over his eyes. then the instrumental rabba vey starts to play and showed arnav and khushi both wishing. In anjam's room, anjali walks in to take off her jewelry...and shyam is asleep and thinking of khushi and regretting not listening to her, and wonders if she will come back and that he will have to go to lucknow. Anjali notices that he is not asleep and asked what is wrong and if she can do anything..he said not and anjali got said because he did not tell her his problems. anjali sleeps on his shoulder and shyam said he might have to go to lucknow. Anjali thought there is a problem with his family but shyam said it is for business...anjali becomes sad again and asked if he forgot...shyam said no in two day it is our 3rd marriage anniversary. and he promised he will be with her on that day. shyam said talking to you all my problems are gone and i am sleepy now..so they go to sleep.

Nani is walking around with laxmi, saying since Lavanya has been in this house i cannot sleep peacefully...Right then lavanya is sneeking around going to arnav's room, and nani saw her and hid. Arnav is in his room and he cannot sleep...he goes by the window and the curtain flies on his face and he thinks of khushi and all the instances where the dupaata flies on his face ( i swear anything flying fabric makes him think of khushi). Then lavanya came from behind and wrapped her hands around his waist😡 (that should be me) and arnav is like what are you doing, la was like no worries i came to say good night and no one saw me. they sit on the bed and la tried to kiss him and arnav stopped her, and said no one is here...and she tried to kiss him again...but when she was about too laxmi was licking her feet...and she thought it was arnav, arnav showed her his hands and she said your eyes and hands cannot lie but your feet can't...arnav turned on the lights and it was revealed that it was laxmi...la got scared and come on the bed and said laxmi is worse than a ghost...it must be a detective...arnav called JP and nani came in acting like she is looking for laxmi...and she got mad when she saw la in arnav's room and the episode ends

Aunt continues that kushi promised 100 customers would come guaranteed and all she did was give away jalebi free to children. Kushi retorts with Buaji a customer came and you scared him away! Payal said it would have been better if they returned to Lucknow. Kushi answers her with her heart. "Didi we cannot give up so easily. So what if nothing much happened today, tomorrow is another day. A new day, a new morning, we will make lots of jalebi and you'll see we will have more customers!"

If a star falls from the sky what can it give me?" He doesn't believe in wishing upon a star! He leaves but his sister has other plans for him. She makes a wish for him; wishing him much happiness and a woman who will come into his life and ease his pained heart forever.

Kushi finishes making her wish. Payal asks her what she wished and she answers nothing special. She then tells her she wished that they all can be together always and have a sweet life as sweet as jalebi! Buaji replies that that is always on her mind sweet jalebi! Kushi asks Payal her wish and she answers it was for their parents happiness and well being always. Always confident Kushi says our wishes will definitely be fulfilled and tomorrow we need a good prosperous day (or we will fall like that star).

Anjali and Shyam are in their room. Shyam is dreaming about Kushi and her trying to tell him something before she left for Lucknow. He is upset he didn't listen to her. Anjali sees he is up. She asks why he isn't sleeping and he says he just can't. She wants to get him something to help him but he tells her there is nothing SHE can do to help him. (Only Kushi'keep wishing Shyam). She says, wow, she use to be able to help him in an instant. She rests her head on his shoulder.

Nani is carrying Laxmi and tells her she is worried about the same thing as long as Ms. Kashyup is in this house she won't be able to rest peacefully. Nani hears a door open and Lavanya is sneaking out of her room wearing only her nightie! La hears something and then thanks God it is no one. She is on the move heading towards her man's room! Nani is hidden but knows exactly where she is going. Oh how I wish she gets caught!

Shyam tells Anjali he thinks he has to go to Lucknow and she says you just got home and now you are leaving again. He tells her he will be back in time for their anniversary in a few days. He continues with now his worries are gone and he can sleep.

ASR gets up, he can't sleep. He walks over to the sliding doors entering the pool area where the drapes are blowing from the wind. The wind blows the heavy fabric into him and this reminds him of Kushi's dupatta, not heavy like the fabric of the drapes but light and airy, which always seems to find him caressingly. I am sure that at this moment he wishes he could stop thinking about this woman. Suddenly two arms come up from behind and embrace him. She leans her head on his back; it's Lavanya. Nani has followed and from a distance sees this. ASR asks La what she is doing and why is she not sleeping. He is rather standoffish. I love this scene; it only proves to me that he respects his Nani, home and traditions and that he really does not want Lavanya because any hot blooded man would jump on the opportunity of a woman throwing herself at him. Go, ASR, go! Just love him. Lavanya says she wouldn't sleep well unless she came to say "good night" to him and anyway he is awake. She leans in for a kiss and he just stops her. She tells him don't worry; no one saw her coming here. She leans in again. ASR what are you doing? Nothing! Haha. You're tickling me! He shows her his hands and he says he hasn't even touched her. Maybe not your hands but your feet and how soft they are. He asks her what she is saying he then turns on the light to see Laxmi licking her feet. Lavanya jumps up shooing Laxmi and getting a little hysterical which he frustrating says for her to stop overreacting. "The goat is more dangerous than a ghost and she is Nani's spy." What nonsense he says and that Laxmi probably came here by accident. He is so trusting!😆 He calls for Laxmi to be removed by Jai Prakash and Nani comes in'.uh, oh.

today gunshots and shooting stars came calling.

a lovely peek into ms sanka devi's personality. things are looking heavy. payal and buaji try to match expenses to earnings and peruse the dismal situation with worry. buaji talking nonstop and blaming khushi for her hair brained ideas. payal, sad at khushi's predicament.

why can't a curtain just be a curtain, why must it remind one of a playful, intrusive dupatta? one that touched him, caressed him, never seemed to want to leave him. yet she was going, hamesha ke liye. and he was just falling, falling upon her, into her her eyes, falling through.

asr was important. not only because he was hot, handsome, troubled, but because he had a universal appeal. somewhere in many of us a bit of him, something a little broken, a longing for something afar, a perfection, a completeness. a huge thanks to barun sobti for making him so real and breathing. every feeling he conveyed i knew in some corner of me, sign of a deeply written and expressed character. this morning my niece of 19 smsed, i am missing asr. no it wasn't just about good looks, there was so much more.
