Thanks Ami. This song was one of my favorites as a child and I thought it was so perfect for this occasion. I was a dreamer as a child and even more so as an adult. I love watching the stars and making wishes. What a beautiful episode. I love the characters more and more with each passing epi. ASR is such a complex character but at the same time is very simple to read. I am sure why he invited La to the RM but it is so sad that she truly loved him and believed she could have something with him. It is sad that he lead her on like he did; but was too stubborn to admit his love and attraction for Kushi. I just love the complexity as well as the simplicity of our IPK!

It was before she moved away you catch it better when you rewind while in pause. I at first had my suspicions by looking at Khushi's lips after she moved away So then I re winded and stopped and went slow. They wanted to show that the moment his lips touched hers she moved away.

he he, my keenly gazing with magnifying glass co-ipk watchers, my eyes never detected a kiss on the lips by either party of said jodi during the show. in fact, each attempt by "waking handsome" (to borrow a phrase from ami and coin thereof) was avoided by "sleeping beauty" (as in not yet awakened to the sacred nature of their pyaar, way above the strictures of rasm and rituals). so as far as i know, the first time she kissed him on the lips happened in that valentine's day story. and i so want to write a pece on exactly how it felt to him, to her, to the world spinning around them. 😆

jimini cricket of pinocchio? aw, memories, and such a cool song. especially the last stanza about the bolt out of the blue. cyn, loved your take and your reply to ami. i don't wish upon stars, but i too have thsi thing about wanting something badly to happen needs a clear wish from apure heart thingie. in red, stuff that sticks.

in orange, that awakwardness seeping into asr la relationship, not being able to redefine itself adroitly and adapt to the new situation. he really hadn't thought through what la's moving in as his girl friend would affect and impact, a decision taken more in gussa than in calm. and as he himself has said, when you take a decision in anger too hastily, it's always wrong. he will realise months later this whole thing was awry and unfair to la. human all too human. thankfully, la will show a maturity beyond her years and her type (which is what i loved, again a typecast idea was shattered).

in big blue bold underlined, do you think he wanted to stop his thoughts of her or wished they could go on forever. how sweetly lost and dreamy he looked. maybe those arms he hoped were soime one else's?

i abs agree, he was fantastic in his interaction with la on finding her in his room. he was not an underhand sneaky sort, he did not wish to meet her like this. and the respect he gave nani was not to be compromised though he was mad at her. so, no, even if you can jump into bed right now and go for it, he can't let that happen. not this way. who can dislike such a character.

Sorry Samin, In my opinion, I have to agree there was no kiss. it may look asif there was but she escaped again that is why she turned her face when he attempted to kiss her while laying on the hay. The first lip kiss was the consummation seen on September 21, 2012 episode. Done brilliantly! the other kiss is in Indi's phenomenal story of the suhaag grat. very hot and beautiful!

Absolutely he wanted it to be someone else. His mind was on her anyway!

Such a gentlemen and man of character. He believes he is a modern manwho doesn't believe in custom and tradition yet he behaves like such a man with Lavanya! Makes you fall even more for him!
