Episode 23

Today's epi brings us today different shades of love,affection,care, attachment,closeness,endearment,solicitude and sadness by each character while remaining in the same frame or in different frames yet connected together and pulling towards each other.Just a nice flow of emotions in 20 min.👏 Intriguing though.

Photo shoot is over and just like after Tsunami mother nature settled the waves at its normal pitch and flow run smoothly and ocean goes back to its routine wavy life,office routine got its subtleness back.

Khushi is sitting and have her regular convo with Devi Maya by regretting on her decision of joining office and today it was the first time she accepted it while remembering how ASR threw clothes towards her.SIMPLE and CUTE.Akash tried to console her and told her no matter what will she do she will always remain KHUSHI and that KHUSHI who had courage to convey her POV infront of ASR."Aap woh hain jinohn ne apni baat ASR ke samne rakhne ki himmat ki hai"It seems like he is way too impressed with Khushi.

On the other side concerned Buaji about Payal's Bday scolding at Khushi on the phone and make her realize again as an adopted one ,NOT in words BY her tone.I found her very harsh towards Khushi in the beginning and all the way up until Holi.

Puja was getting delayed because of Damadji.Anjali's excitement to open the door for her husband changed into disappointment as she received a parcel and a phone call from him.Daljeet did portray all of those emotions of heartbroken wife very well.👏

In all these rituals and embarrassment Mamiji stood for Anjali and stick for her was done fabulously as it shows no matter what kind of person she was or is but does have love and affection for Anjali and Arnav.

On the other side in the office Khushi is gathering courage to ask permission to go home while Manjhu reminds her Today is "Karvi Sabzi" ka din Hai".It does suit on Khushi's condition very well apparently as Its just not her day OR actually it is her day because it is decided by Devi Maya not by Manjhu.(Mirror reflection two sides , appears apparently and actual mystical depth one beyond your simple imagination)

In the ASR Cabin he is still in Khushi's Land and just did not get over with enchanted and bewitched mesmerization of seeing Beauty in Lavish red flaring her purity and innocense around him.Just done flawlessly and indeed Barun mesmerized our hearts over here.😎

He is so in deep thoughts of her that even Lavanys is so close to her and his face is imagining her in La's face.It is so evident he has no clue La is fixing his tie (as he cares D...)My POV.Bravo Barun you are a master of winning hearts.Killing amusement and enjoyment is so visible as you imagining her in La's face.Too GOOD.👏

I will call this episode Water and the Dam

The episode starts with sadness, tears, tears of our beloved Kushi Kumari Gupta washing away all the hurt.😭 She asks herself why? Why always end in a mess? When Akash walks in trying to cheer her up, offering water. She refuses. He says I make mistakes too but you stood up to ASR , stood for your beliefs, convinced the world renowned photographer and he agreed and changed ASR's mind, saying "this can work!" He offers her water again, maybe she will feel better and she says no, jalebi? Drink the water Kushi...it WILL make you feel better.😉

Episode continues between the Gupta house and the RM. In the Gupta house Buaji is angry at Kushi for not being there preparing for the surprise for Payal while in the RM pooja is ready, massis have come and Anjali awaiting her husband. Doorbell, she gets excited but no it is not him, phone rings he says he can't come. Tears fall. She says to him a lie," I won't feel bad" and the tears are still rolling. These tears are tears of pain. 😭 The pain of disappointment but as they roll down her face she then wipes them away taking in a breath and starting anew when she turns to see Nani.These tears were drops of disappointment but gave her a renewed fake sense of let's face the world! Give this girl a drink of water!

Meanwhile back at AR Designs, Manhju offers Kushi food for the road. "jalebi?" she gets excited, "no, cooked vegetables". For the sake of this critique I am going to take the privilege of embellishing. These vegetables have been steamed.(LOL) Steamed in water to nourish our dear Kushi after a long day of exhausting hurt. I just love how Manhju is such a mother figure for Kushi!😛❤️

Back at the ranch, ugh, no I mean the RM Massi Ratna 😈gives her mean 2cents to Anjali about not traveling with her husband, living in her maternal house, blah, blah, blah...
In comes my Knight in Shining Armour today, Manorama⭐️ who shoots right back at Ratna and puts her in her place saving her dear niece! SHE SHOULD HAVE THROWN WATER IN HER FACE!

We come back again to a very intimate scene in ASR😡 office. He is reliving seeing Kushi in all her glory and he can't stop thinking about her, while trying to undo his tie. He 's having trouble concentrating. I wonder why? She did look absolutely gorgeous!!! Of course, Lavanya offers to help her stud and he just stands there while she opens his tie and unbuttons his shirt. I think that ASR and Lavanya have a very intimate relationship as it can be but he doesn't allow that intimacy to go to his heart. During this time our Kushi goes up to ask if she can go home and walks into this heated scene. Cold glass of water please! She is shocked and embarassed.😲 She knocks not once but twice and everything gets misconstrued by the main Stooge (remember the 3 stooges, La is head honcho), which in turn instigates the mighty ASR to react. I am thinking HE is embarassed that she(Kushi) caught him in this situation. "Do I have to teach YOU manners? Your always using "ji" and I have to teach you manners" She wants to go home. She is melting the iceberg of his heart, drip by drip, and he is not liking it one bit. He allowed her to get away with the dress. No, he is not going to allow that. Now the punishment comes. You are going to the parking lot!😡

Back at the RM. Dinner on the table, Anjali won't eat,😔 mami takes a taste- way to spicy because that's the way the husband likes it. Drink water! It will make you feel better. Mami agains saves the day by offering dessert to our Anjali who then smiles by her reassuring words. Bravo, Mami, bravo⭐️. Nani I don't like you today.😡

I am not saying much about the Gupta's and that situation,( you all know what was going on there), but Shyam is there brings stuff for the party asks where is Kushi and says I will take care of it. He appears as a hero in that family. He has an umbrella! Repelling the cleansing rain or protecting himself from being drowned when all find out his true story.

Cut to Kushi in the parking lot directing traffic. This girl she is so cute. So obedient. So loyal. 😛
We hear a crack of thunder and see a lightening bolt and the rain begins. Not just drops but buckets and Kushi is drenched in a matter of seconds. She continues to do her duty no matter what. A client sees her, ASR and his entourage see her and the client admonishes ASR, " You have passed your limits". They go..but within a few minutes a screaching car nearly slams into Kushi who has just been saved by the Mighty ASR.

RABBA VE..❤️the hug, the hold, the rain washing over them, dripping from their noses. Washing away her pain just for a split second... He has her... she feels safe... She has him...he feels safe...the rain washing away, in the briefest moment, the friction, the hate and the pain between the two.
How wonderful water can be...cleansing , refreshing, soothing, healing,..
The dam has been broken and the water is gushing...

"I think we are going to need a bigger boat!"(Jaws)

The calender shoot seems to be over as Khushi sits lonesome with tear in her eye, fashbacks of the rakshas throwing the dress at her. Talking to herself as she tends to do when upset, doubting herself "why did i sign up for this?"...ASR has finally broke her. Akaash, the only guy in the office that doesn't call her names and believes in her ability, hand her a glass of water which she refuses. A wonderful bonding moment occurs, as Akaash reminds her "aap voh hai jisne ASR ke samne apni baat rakhne ki himmat ki hai" (you are someone who is brave enough to stick up for youself in front of ASR).

He offers her water again, khushi's instinctive reply "nahi hume Jileb" she stops herself...unfortunatly as Manju later points out, today is a "kadvi sabzi" day.

Anjali is left heart broken as her husband will not come for the puja, leaving her all alone to face the nasty world, alone to do the puja by herself. As a woman, you can't help but feel for her, just want to hug her. Daljeet did an awsome job in this very emotional scene with out going overboard.👏

Maami was wonderful, sticking up for Anjali and teaching that mausi not to throw stones on others home when your home is made of glass. loved this scene!

Meanwhile in ASR's office, He also lost in thought, fashbacks of the beautiful girl in red is causing havok in that shatir dimaag of his.

even having trouble loosening his tie, Lavanya notices, and is happy to give him a hand. the way he is looking at La is lovely but something tells me those flashbacks are still happening while he's looking at her 😉.

this expression of Barun is just PERFECT (that is an understatement)

Khushi lost in her thought of how she will as his permission to go home, oblivious to the couple exchanging a moment, knocks on the door (twice). ASR and looks at her first, but doesn't react until La starts yelling at her. more insults from ASR as La is entertained.

"Dimaag to tum mein hain nahi, ab tameez bhi seekhana pade ga?"

"har baat se pahle "jee" lagane nahi bhoolti, know karna kaise bhoo gayi"

"I did knock" she replied,ASR did reply so i think he believed her

She politely asks for permission to go home,

but ASR obsessed with winning, continues to taunt her about the contract and tells she has to help with parking or she can quit. Manju was right, the day of "kadvi sabzi" and it just doesn't want to end...

I did see some evidence to regret on Arnavs face after khushi leaves, its safe to say he feels bad...awww, he DOES have a ❤️

Heavy rains come down,

as an exhausted, always smiling khushi has trouble finding her smile when ASR's client asks her "beti, tum to bheeg gayi ho...Arnav bhi na, kabhi kabhi had kardeta hai" ("Arnnav goes overboard sometimes"...yah uncle ji, tell us about it!)

Arnav, having nothing to say in his defense, greets the nice client and looks at khushi before leaving.

more regret on his face, what say??

Rabba Ve 2

A speeding screeching car, a distracted khushi, until its too late ... but he comes just in the nick of time and she is saved by him

Him, the one who let her fall from the first floor, him, the one who has made her day hell as he once promised, Arnav Singh Raizada saves her...(and makes way for our 2nd rabba ve)...Her face on his broad shoulders, breathing heavily, he holds her shoulders gesturing that he has her, she will be alright.

She is the first to come to her senses as she looks up and commands his eyes to look back at her...both unwilling to let eachother go

...this episode can end right now :) Rabbaaa ve, ho rabbbaaa ve 👏

And just walked off...asr not gving her an umbrella does not bother me because he comes back and saves er from getting hit by a car...but really akash u just stare at her and walk off,,,he could have given an umbrella I am clearly nit over the umbrella issue after 1.5 years...I still hold a grudge

Awesome episode. Thanks for the link. Hats off to the writer to make such an unique character of Khushi. In spite of such humiliation Khushi still stood tall and didn't break up.I was a little upset of her naivety. She didn't even make any mistakes, but she was apologizing. I wish if she denied of her mistake and the truth of the coat incident revealed! Also in the parking lot, puzzled Khushi, completely drenched in rain didn't forget to smile back to ASR's clients. ASR's thought is fully occupied by Khushi. Even when Lavanya wanted to be romantic with him, he actually preoccupied by Khushi's thought. Lavanya's bark brought him reality again and as usual made him showered his hate on Khushi.I think ASR's likings towards Khushi, outraged him more and made him punish the innocent girl. In the parking lot the guilt in his eyes was so visible. No wonder why he saved her. He was actually concerned and didn't leave the sight I guess. Their first hug happened. the hug was, warm, comforting and full of passion. It was also a sign that no matter what ASR will protect Khushi
