Sincere apologies to all my dear friends, I know I was supposed to be around but first Diwali and then the trebled work load. But yeah bonus for you guys this time. Some people wanted to know about the channel and some well about the show. Read on.

I am sure you people are having a tough time dealing with everything going around. Decoding some things for you people so u can act accordingly.

1. It is the channel that has the highest authority and power in any dispute that arises in any of the shows airing on the channel and is the final decision maker.

2. During any dispute between a PH and an actor, it is the channel which has the final say and takes the decision according to the matter, whether it is changing the PH, letting actors go or anyother major issue.

3. Change of PH is a common thing in Indian TV industry NOW just like change of actors and the leading GECs just had a PH change for their major shows. (relate if you have heard or read stuff)

4. For day to day tracks as well, the Channel is pretty much aware of what is to come and can get it changed anytime.

5. Any channel's response office works like a call center. For people who don't know exactly, they have teams reporting to different floor or team managers and the managers pass in the info to these executives which inturn reaches you.

6. If you want u can speak to the managers rather than the executives, you can tell the executive to connect your call directly to the manager. In case of conflicting views passed on by the Channel executives ( show is ending, decision not yet taken etc), do not panic, it means things are being discussed. Unless a confirmation comes from the Channel, none of the parties, ie the actors and the PH can go ahead with any major decision.

Having said that, I am only trying to get u a better picture of how things work. You can decide to act accordingly and now read on for some common queries, but decipher and then analyze.

1. Writing is done by a team and they change occasionally ( besides the permanent one), hence, the ups and downs in the episode.

2. Unless and until the Channel or the actor himself/ herself confirms that he/ she is quitting, believe otherwise.

3. Whenever a show is about to end, usually a few weeks prior to that the Channel issues an official press release. If they haven't, again believe otherwise.

4. About Arnav and Khushi and the story, here is a quote by Felix Adler

Thank you Nishi! This was a much needed post!

People are believing anything and everything.There were hell a lot of rumours in the forum!

And if channel has the final say then why are they not changing the PH? If money and fame is so important for SP then they would do it without any second thoughts because ipk gives them both!

i have given up i dont care yesterday was the last draw and sure read my rant as well
good they came to know what we though of yesterday episode
if they have to give filler please let khushi bond wiht the adopted
arav ask him how he felt about the woman he called mom for xyz days and not again a change
wht his likes dislikes are let him be the kid instead of trained asr
let khushi and arnav lay down the rule where both have decide them before hand
let dadi explain arav they could have gone a lot of different way but ni they had to do ott khuhsi and heals and Mrs India '

i would ahve been happy if yesterdays dialogue arnav would have remind her that he has registered her dabba service if she doesnt want to work with him in office then atleas ttrestart the dabba service

seriouosly when i see this i makes me feel really bad for sanaya poorthing must be thing what are they makign me do

i wish she objects
any way at the end of the day if all things dont work just end the thing with arnav n khushi i will be happy and then say heloo hi bye bye to star channel for a long time

Channel can (and does) change tracks or influences the tracks..I think someone mentioned here that Sheetal track was changed last minute and wrapped up quickly. Thanks star plus 👏

Changing of PH does happen, you're right but usually it affects the shows adversely I,e. EHMMBH and SB. Any who, for a pessimist like me, I don't think IPK could get any worse from yesterday's episode. Anything to erase that memory..but what if the new PH isn't efficient enough? I don't exactly know what changes when a new PH takes over..assuming its got to do with finance and sets and stuff. From what people have said, producer has refused to give the shows rights or hand over the show to a new PH (rumours) and I think that's completely fair. It's her show, her story why should she.

whatever is best for the show.

Will definitely follow what you said about talking with managers, maybe my aunt can chat with them coz I absolutely suck at keeping calm when I call them.

As for ArHi I'm going to be a delusional fool and assume they lived happily ever after after karva chawth episode.

PS: Any way we can get our original writer back?? Has his notice period finished...
